There is nothing I won't do for my family. The family that took me in, gave me a home, a job, and a brotherhood that I didn't know I needed. But something was taken from me. Something I have spent years telling myself I didn't deserve. I've spent years breaking her heart, one piece at a time. My loyalty has been to her brother, and her father's memory. Two men who I could never betray. But things change. She's in trouble, and even though no one has ever known, she's always been mine. And now, I'm coming for her.

Sanction: Knight of Paradise Mc book 2 by SJ Chaynie
I received this book from the author for an honest review. LAWD have I been excited for this book!!! The end of book 1 is a cliffhanger so if you haven’t read Mav and Tanner you gotta STOP and read book 1 first. Princess AKA Dani and Dom AKA Travis are so frustrating and so yummy at the same damn time. I mean yes I get Travis pushing her away since he was raised by Mav and Dani’s family but….DAYUM the chemistry between the two of them is offfff the charts!!! Like I said this book is picking up at Tanner and Mav’s Party. Dani feels like crap and Tanner takes her to the store when they are abducted by the Serpents…grrrrr. Tanner and Dani are freaking out wondering when then MC will come and get them. Travis realizes he is done hiding his love for Dani. He needs to get her back and tell her how much he loves her. The time hope backwards to see how their love came to be was so innocent initially and then not so innocent!! LOL I absolutely love seeing the roles being reversed and Mav giving Travis the same shit after admitting his love for Dani. I am so excited for the next book. I can’t wait for Widow and Lexi. I am guessing that is where this is headed???? Maybe?? But the last line of the book from Dani about a person from the past left me GASPING!!! For real I love this series!!!
Book two of three. I don't count the ending as cliffhanger, but rather the ending of this portion of the story before being picked up in book three: Pardon.
Anywho. I feel like this was a drop from the first book, Concede. I was excited for Dani and Travis's story since there is a lot of history there between the two and in book one you could see there was some drama unfolding between them before Dani and Tanner were taken. I felt like this particular leg of this three story journey just dragged on. There was some spice, which is always nice, but the chemistry I felt from the two of them in book one just didn't seem to translate to their own story.
I finished book three because I couldn't just stop in the middle of the story. I will certainly keep S.J. on my mind when deciding on a new series or book to read...but it just might be later on down the road.
Per the Author: Book 2 of the Knights of Paradise MC Series. Does end on a cliffhanger, part of a continuing series.
Book two is Travis (Dom) and Daniella’s (Dani) story and the continuation of the series. I loved the whole push-pull relationship that these two had. You can feel it seeping through the pages and it just keeps you invested into whether these two will really become a couple!
I did enjoy the first few chapters getting the back story on how their “relationship” really began! Lots of action and intrigue taking place within the club. I do not want to let any spoilers out but, I will say that I was sacred for Dani and Tanner! Viper is one mean person and is capable of anything!!
Once again…book two ends in a cliffhanger. Thankfully I have book three at the ready, as I dislike cliffhangers!
The story is getting better n I’m invested. I enjoyed looking into the past w/this couple and seeing their history. With the first couple it felt rushed and instant. With this couple their love blossomed over time. I liked that there wasn’t a lot of talk about OW. I like that after Travis n Dani had a moment he stopped messing w/club girls. That’s what turned me off w/Maverick from the first book. Even when he had moments w/Tanner he would go get his needs met by a club girl. Then return to Tanner n have these couple moments🤢. Then he’d get pissed if someone looked her way as if he could talk. That’s why I like this book more. Both characters were doing their own thing. Dani wasn’t held up in a room while Travis had fun. She was out n about getting hers. All in all I enjoyed this couple. So far they’re my favorite
This book was okay, but I was pretty disappointed after the first book was so great. I was dying for Daniella and Travis’ story after Concede, but this didn’t live up to expectations. It’s a short, quick read. I would have preferred a longer story with more character development. I also thought the “Dom” name explanation was a little bit of a cop out. Very little spice, definitely some intrigue & action. I will most likely read the next one.
It's an okay quick read! Has some spelling errors that's kind of annoying. At this point I probably will not read book 3. It's just being drug out into more books, it could have been wrapped it up in two books.
After reading Concede I was excited to read Sanction. Let me just say that I really enjoyed this story and love the series so far. I can not wait to see what the author has in store for us in book 3.
This series is amazing. Keeps you on the edge of your seat. The twist and turns of the plot grab you and hold onto you from start to cliffhanger, a must read series!!!!!!
as this series goes on, the only question i keep asking myself is, can it get better? it’s an emotional rollercoaster for sure, but i wouldn’t love it as much if it wasn’t ❤️🩹
This was intense and makes your heart ache. Travis is worth more than he was ever told he was, Dani is an amazing woman that made him realize what he is worth.
I’m loving this MC series. I just feel in love with Dani and Travis. Girl that ending! now I’m going to go download the third book because I need to know what happens next.
Dani and Travis are so cute! I just love them. I really enjoyed this book but man the cliffhanger made me mad. So far really loving this series. Book 3 here I come!!!
3.75/5 ⭐️. This book had a lot of suspense & it was hard to put down. However, the romance itself in this I wasn’t really feeling. Still a quick read that i’d recommend!
