I LIKED THE STORIES BUT FELT THE PRIVATE INVESTIGATORS WERE FAR TOO SIMILAR TO EACH OTHER IN DIFFERENT STORIES.
THE STORY I LIKED ABOVE ALL WAS “LAST ONE ALIVE”. IT WAS GRIPPING THROUGHOUT. A NICE TRIP AWAY TO REKINDLE THEIR RELATIONSHIP WENT HORRIBLY WRONG FOR AARON AND AMY AFTER AARON WENT MISSING ON THE LAKE FISHING TRIP. AMY WAS WORRIED SICK AND THINGS WENT FROM BAD TO WORSE. I WONT SPOIL THE STORY BUT IF YOU READ ONLY ONE OF THE STORIES THIS IS THE ONE I STRONGLY RECOMMEND.
Very true as you could not put this collection down once you started reading it. Got me so hooked I had to get the Logan follow ons as I will be the Karen Heath follow ons. I had in fact read the Karen Heath books a little while ago but it was just lovely to read these again. Gave me a few hours of enjoyment!
I read all twelve, but it was a bit of work. Some of the books were different related stories and some stood alone. The writing got better over the duration, but I felt it could have used professional editing or something to get the flow and word usage more compelling and impactful.
I liked each story, they kept me interested and continuingly reading! A the detectives were intriguing, especially the ones in the USA! I do like Karen Heath though a lot!
