A WEDDING IN WILD HARBOR is the first time I have ever read Grace Worthington and I loved every minute of it. She had my emotions all over the place and I was afraid to continue reading at a few parts because I was scared of what was coming! Cassidy Woods works at Books Forever. One day, on the way to work, she is run off the road and winds up stuck in the mud. The man who was driving so rudely, Liam Henry, tries to get her out of the mud unsuccessfully. He gives her a ride into town and you can tell from their conversation, they are like oil and water, total opposites.

Soon after arriving at work Cassidy learns that the owners are selling the bookstore and Liam is buying it! She is devastated and walks right out of the store. A WEDDING IN WILD HARBOR brings Liam who is from Chicago, to Wild Harbor to close the deal on the bookstore. He wants to turn it into a high end gym. His mother, who has cancer, only wants to see him married. She is so determined to make that happen that she even takes an ad out on a billboard looking for a wife for him. Liam just wants to make her stop so he somehow gets Cassidy to pretend to be his girlfriend. Oh boy, you know how this is going to go right?

A WEDDING IN WILD HARBOR is the fifth book in the Wild Harbor Beach series but it can easily be read as a stand alone which is what I did. I was instantly emotionally invested in all of the characters. Mostly, they all kept me laughing on one page and then tearing up but the banter between Cassidy and Liam is hysterical. Grace Worthington is such a wonderful and heart tugging author and she had me laughing and crying on the very same page. I am now going to read all of her previous books and she has just made a new fan forever! I will definitely be reading the previous books in this series. Grab your copy today and get on the couch!

This is a favorite of mine from this series. Cassidy works at Books Forever and Liam is buying it. They meet when he runs her off the road, although he says it was her fault. Liam’s mom, Jane, wants him to date, so he won’t be alone when the cancer finally takes her. Liam isn’t interested in dating and has two principles he lives by. One, avoid love and two, only take calculated risks. When Cassidy learns that bookstore is selling and that Liam plans to close it, she’s hoping she can keep her reading program going. I won’t leave any spoilers because I think everyone should read this beautiful story and see why I loved it so much. I will say I bet you’ll adore Abby, Liam’s niece that he has custody of, after her dad died.

I received a complimentary copy of this book and this is my voluntary and honest review.

With a bookstore, a small-town beach setting, and some charming (and some stubborn) characters, what’s not to love about A Wedding in Wild Harbor?

Cassidy and Liam affected me differently. It was easy to connect with Cassidy. I love that she loves the bookstore and doesn’t want it to close. On the other hand, Liam took me longer to warm up to. He could care less about the bookstore and wants to make it a gym. (Gasp!) He is so irritable in the beginning, but thankfully shows growth as the story progresses.

There are other variables to the bookstore’s possible closure that give the story the necessary depth. Together, Cassidy and Liam come up with an idea I felt would certainly not go according to plan, but I liked their sentiment behind it.

This story has ups and downs and a myriad of obstacles, giving just the right balance of tension and ease. I haven’t read the other books in the series, but I didn’t feel lost or in need of backstory.

First Line: Liam Henry eyed the carefully wrapped gift on the coffee table.
Series: Wild Harbor Beach book 5
Genre: Contemporary Christian Romance
Author: Grace Worthington

I really didn't know what to think of this book at first. Worthington did a great job of bringing two very different characters together in a way that worked, but you never saw it coming. It was a nice surprise romance. Very good pacing, good character development.

This was such a sweet romance but it had a rocky start. Starting a fake relationship and not thinking to highly off each other is where Liam and Cassidy begin. However overtime we start to see a new side of Liam where they could potentially have a future with each other. There are definitely highs and lows but I like that it had a realistic feeling. Overall, they get their happily ever after and now I have to go binge read the other books in this series 😂. Every book can be read as a stand-alone if you don’t like to read in order.

I received an ARC but this is an honest review.

A Wedding in Wild Harbor is the fifth installment from the Wild Harbor Beach series. This is, also, my first introduction to the talents of Grace Worthington. Since I have not read any of her books or the previous books in the series, I believe this can be read as a stand alone. I thought it was a sweet story with the small town feel. I enjoyed getting to know Liam and Cassidy. I was entertained with the two from start to finish.

I am giving A Wedding in Wild Harbor five stars. I recommend it for readers who enjoy reading clean romantic fiction. I would love to read the other books from the Wild Harbor Beach series to see what happened previously. I will be on the lookout for more releases by Grace Worthington.

I received a copy of A Wedding in Wild Harbor from the publisher, but was not required to write a positive review. This review is one hundred percent my own honest opinion.

I requested an advance review copy of Grace Worthington’s “A Wedding in Wild Harbor” because the premise had me at subterfuge. A man and woman who don’t like each other agree to a pretend relationship for their own gains. Liam Henry is a Chicago businessman who wants his mother, Jane, off his back when it comes to his dating life. Cassidy Woods is in her last year of college and wants to save the bookstore where she holds a successful children’s reading program in Wild Harbor, a small beach town. The description alone promised shenanigans, and if it sounds like a Hallmark movie, I would agree with you.
Here’s the thing with Hallmark movies: I’ve come to expect a story line where the main character either is an entrepreneur or wants that promotion at work more than she wants a relationship or anything to do with marriage. This story started with a man who is like this. But some of the story line troubled me. It veered too closely toward tragedy for a plot that should resemble comedy’s calling card. Let me explain.
Liam is wealthy, wears beautiful suits, and drives an Alfa Romeo. He reminded me of two characters from romantic comedies: “Edward” from “Pretty Woman” and “Reuben” from “Along Came Polly.” Like his father before him, Liam buys up businesses, fires their employees, and turns the empty space into a business he feels will make a better profit. Relationships are too risky in his book, so he is still single and holds people at arm’s length. He lost his father and his brother, so their loss informs his behavior. His mother Jane is battling cancer, and Liam’s focus has been on her treatments and well-being. He is a guardian to his brother’s daughter who is at a boarding school at the beginning of the story. He has no time for dating and no room for things he can’t control.
He meets Cassidy Woods while driving to Wild Harbor to seal the deal on a property he is buying. He becomes distracted while driving, goes left of center, and forces Cassidy to veer off the road. Liam stops to see if she’s alright, and she recognizes him as the motorist who drove her off the road. Instead of apologizing, he says she overcorrected.
I didn’t like that answer. Liam several times corrected Cassidy’s interpretation of true events. He tried to make this near-accident her fault. He tried to be his own spin doctor. I didn’t like this guy.
Cassidy meanwhile doesn’t have two nickels to rub together. She spends her money on her reading program at the bookstore where she works. She is blindsided by the fact the owners are selling the bookstore, a refuge for her growing up. She has epilepsy and a seizure at school made her the target of a bully. She decided to spend her time reading having adventures, rather than in the company of other children. She is like Liam in that sense of wanting to keep people at arm’s length. That marked moment, as Lysa TerKeurst would say, led her to want to make the bookstore a safe place for other kids, and now Liam wanted to take that dream away.
Just like I thought, the two characters found themselves in awkward and humorous situations. One of the conflicts arrived in the form of Cameron, this guy I pictured as Joey Donner from “10 Things I Hate About You.” But remember the part about Liam’s father’s death? Well, his father’s business dealings appeared shady. The scenes started to look like an episode of FBI. I felt like yelling, “We had a contract, Grace!”
I expected to see characters navigating conflicts; otherwise, I might not become that invested if they had smooth sailing throughout. However, the synopsis made me think “romantic comedy,” so I kind of felt blindsided by scandal and crime thrown so far into the story. I felt like the lovers were divided by tragic events, including some still looming in the future, and not enough pages were left to turn this around. I had to push myself to finish the rest of the story because I didn’t find that I was rooting for this couple.
My ambivalence aside, I did enjoy the ending and am happy I read to the end. Thank you to Victory Editing Netgalley Co-Op and Poets and Saints publishing for allowing me to read and review this last book in the Wild Harbor Beach series.

Reader’s Notes:

– this is part of a series, but can be read as a stand-alone

– this is told from Liam & Cassidy’s points of view

– there is an age gap of 6 years between them

– Cassidy deals with epilepsy (no symptoms shown during the story, just seizures talked about and how other children teased her about them -past events)

– Liam’s mother has cancer

Review:

I loved this sweet romance! I can’t wait to read more from Grace Worthington when I can get the chance to! Liam was so cute with the kids from Cassidy’s program and his own niece. Cassidy was determined and hardworking with the bookshop and her program for kids and I loved that she managed to convince Liam to keep the doors open just a bit longer when he suggested they were dating to his mother. I loved Liam’s mother and the ways she decided to try and push Liam into finding a relationship of his own. I also loved how Liam, his niece, his mom, and Cassidy all interacted together. They were so sweet to one another and his niece and mom immediately embraced Cassidy as one of their own. I really liked how Grace made it so the characters were feeling guilty of their farce of a relationship and that it affected the other characters close to them. It felt more real having characters upset that they were lied to. Some of my favorite scenes in this story were: in a chocolate shop, in a dress shop, the garden party, when Liam first comes to Cassidy’s place, and the last scene with Cassidy’s family.

Liam isn’t interested in dating, despite his mother’s many attempts to get him to decide otherwise. But his mom takes it too far by posting his picture on a billboard advertisement. Liam wants her to take it down, but she won’t until he takes a chance at love. So he does the only thing he can think of. Liam claims that he is dating Cassidy, the girl who might be out of a job soon now that he bought the town’s struggling bookshop.

Cassidy loves working at the bookshop, it was her safe haven as a child and she loves making it so children feel the same way she had. When she learns that the owners sold the shop, Cassidy is devastated. She hoped to one day be able to buy it herself, but wouldn’t have the funds for a few more years. With the bookshop struggling to stay on it’s feet before being bought, Cassidy knows she’ll have to see the shop close up and be changed into something else. But when the new owner claims to be dating her, Cassidy finds a way to convince him to keep the store open just a little bit longer.

Liam didn’t expect Cassidy to bargain with him about their fake relationship, especially when it has to do with his newest acquisition. But if he can make his mother happy and find a way to make this woman agree to it, Liam is willing to make the trade…for now.

But as time goes on and both Liam and Cassidy begin to fall for each other for real, they wonder if it could ever be that way for them when it all started as a lie. When push comes to shove, can they keep the happiness they found and not hurt those around them? Or will it come crumbling down when someone tries to come between them?

A Wedding in Wild Harbor
by Grace Worthington

I received a complimentary copy and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Cassidy works at the local bookstore, " Books Forever", which is being sold as sales aren't great; the elderly owners can't afford to keep it open. Liam Henry, an affluent business executive, is the interested party buying the store, ready to turn it into a high-tech gym.
But Cassidy can't give up on her dream of working in a bookstore. It's all she has ever wanted, especially as she has an after-school program that is so successful with the local children.

Liam Henry has his own problems. His mother, who has cancer, desires her one wish to be fulfilled; she wants him to find a woman to settle down with. But Liam has no intention of settling down; he isn't interested in a wife or even the mere thought of dating, protecting himself from the risk of being hurt, and living his life the way he chooses.
When Liam suggests an idea to Cassidy that will suit both of them, will Cassidy agree, even if it means lying to people? Read the book to find out more!

This is book 5 in the Wild harbor Beach series but can be read as a standalone, which is what I did. The author shares the pov between Liam and Cassidy.
A Wedding in Wild Harbor is definitely a favourite with an enemies-to-lovers vibe. It definitely hit the spot, as any book surrounding a bookstore resonates with me. I love how Grace Worthington describes Cassidy's need for books and reading, " and she'd become a bookish soul who escaped in the pages of a novel." The phrase hummed throughout my soul. I am convinced it will do the same for many readers!

My heart went out to Cassidy when she learned of the bookstore sale looming over her head; if only her finances allowed her to buy it but with a college degree to finish, it isn't a valid option. The characters are likeable, even the minor ones and the author describes the setting beautifully. I appreciated Cassidy's dedication to children with learning difficulties, always thinking of others.
This is definitely a feel-good read that grips you from the start with a HEA.
I am looking forward to reading more from Grace Worthington.

Romance Novels are one of my favorite Genres. I also really like to read books that are part of a Series. A Wedding in Wild Harbor by Grace Worthington is Book 5 in the Wild Harbor Beach series. I have not yet read the first 4 books in this series, but this book reads great as a Stand Alone book.

Cassidy Woods loves her job at the local Bookstore, Books Forever. She is very disappointed to learn that the owners are retiring and selling the bookstore. Liam Henry is an investor from Chicago who plans on buying the Bookstore. Cassidy is devasted to learn Liam plans on closing the Bookstore after he becomes the owner. Cassidy is desperate to save the Bookstore, even thinking of becoming his girlfriend. Liam has been a Single Man for so long, mainly due to his Grumpy demeanor. Liam would LOVE to give his Mom her dying wish of seeing Liam meet someone whom he can have a relationship with. Cassidy agrees to be his "girlfriend of convenience" in hopes of saving the Bookstore. Will the "convenience" become a true relationship? Will Liam keep the Bookstore open?

I really LOVED the storyline of this book. The book isn't the typical "convenience relationship" book. I thought I was going to be able to predict this story, but it truly was unpredictable. Cassidy is a GREAT character. I really related to her with her Seizures and such. I had Childhood Epilepsy and that part of the story was really precious. Liam was a grumpy person at the start of the book, but Cassidy was able to bring out a different side of him. I also love the Bookstore setting, as being an AVID reader I visit Bookstores often. The Author does a great job at bringing in characters from other books in this series. I have to say I will be going back and reading the series from the beginning! GREAT BOOK!

This was a sweet and romantic read with the trope of a fake relationship that turns complicated until the couple realizes that they are in love with each other. I had so much fun reading this warm-hearted story and I look forward to more from new to me author Worthington.

Liam Henry is rich and almost untouchable, except when it comes to his mother and niece. He comes across as a ruthless businessman, to most everybody else he was very grumpy, but he is a noble character deep down in his soul. His mother, who is dying of cancer, wants so much for him to find the right woman to love, especially when she is gone. Liam resists her at every turn until she takes matters into her own hands.

Cassidy Woods has been heart broken in love before and also is managing epilepsy. Her one passion is the Books Forever bookstore and her children's program. Unfortunately, the store is not making any profit and the owners have sold it to the one and only Liam Henry. The same one that she already had an unfortunate meeting with. The story opens up with that eventful circumstance.

However, Liam needs help, and he figures Cassidy would be just the one to help him since she is already disgusted with him, and she needs a favor in return. But neither of them realizes the power of their attraction or the sacrifices of true love.

This was a great small town romantic story to escape into.

I received a copy of this novel from the author. I was not required to post a positive review and all views and opinions are my own.

3.5⭐

Romance level: kissing.

Their first meeting was so funny. Liam was super grumpy.

I loved their banter & how she got him down from his high horse. His mom's the best😂. It was really interesting how the proposal & counterproposal were made! It was so funny and I loved it.

I loved both of them interacting w/Abby. It was so sweet how protective Liam was. Also, I loved the book program.

The holding hands scene was everything! it was really sweet. They were cute fighting their attraction.

Liam was so precious! He's super protective and such a gentleman beneath the grumpy exterior. So different from where he started in the book. Him asking for permission was everything. I didn't like Cameron, at all.

It appears to be only me, but I spent the last 20% of the book a little confused on why she was so mad at him?. She never spoke of her personal stuff to him & then got mad because he didn't air his dad's doings?. She agreed to the contract & then he was the one who was in the wrong?. I applaud her for wanting honesty, but it goes both ways. Not everything was on him. That's where I was confused.

Despite all that, I still loved his gesture. And the epilogue was really sweet.

💜: epilepsy (no episode described) & difficulty to read.
⚠️TW: family member battling cancer.

A Wedding in Wild Harbor is a contemporary romance novel written by Grace Worthington. It is part of the Wild Harbor Beach series, but it is not necessary to have read the previous books in order to enjoy this one.

Summary: Cassidy Woods loves the bookshop where she works. It’s almost a second home to her. Her biggest dream would be to someday own it herself.

So, when she finds out the owners have decided to sell to a stranger without even letting her know, it’s a huge blow. Even worse, the new owner has no intent to even keep it a bookshop-instead turning it into a high-tech gym.

Liam Henry is excited to be making a new property deal. It’s what he lives for-making deals, and staying away from complicated relationships.

But his sick mother keeps trying to meddle in his love life.

He wants to please his mother-in anything but this. Maybe a fake relationship with a bookshop employee can get his mother to leave him be?

My Thoughts: This was a fun book. At first it seemed the two main characters were far too different to ever fall for each other, but the author did a good job of bringing them together as the story progressed.

This book has a nice romance, and the characters really develop over time as they learn more about themselves, and what they have to offer others.

I enjoyed it, and would recommend it.

I would like to thank Poets and Saints Publishing for providing me with a free digital copy of this book in exchange for my review. Thank you!

A Wedding in Wild Harbor is the fifth book in the Wild Harbor Beach series. I had personally only read one other book in the series, and found it reads well as a standalone. You can certainly tell it is part of a series, as we see characters previously introduced make appearances that are clearly not their first... but I didn't feel lost or that I was missing any information crucial to the primary story in this book.

Grumpy boss with plans to shut down a failing bookstore, but ends up falling for the only employee... well, it certainly sounds like something straight off a Hallmark movie, but I absolutely adored it and found this one was done quite well. Liam and Cassidy made such an interesting couple. Liam admittedly was not the most likeable character in the beginning... he most certainly was quite the grump. Still, that made watching his softening throughout the story all the better. The romance between these two was sweet, and I loved their happily ever after. The story was full of heart, but it also had a good deal of humor as well, which I very much enjoyed.

Overall, I found this to be a really sweet romantic read, and one that fans of Hallmark-like love stories is sure to want to experience for themselves.

**I received a complimentary copy for consideration. All thoughts are my own.

I had such mixed emotions about this book, and as a result, very mixed emotions about writing this review. I am a fan of Ms. Worthington, and this series, but honestly, I struggled with this book. I enjoyed seeing my favorite characters from previous books in the series. I liked Cassidy for the most part, and of course, who wouldn’t love Abby? However, I spent entirely too much of this book frustrated. With Cassidy for letting herself be manipulated by her ex, Cam, who was a slimy character. With Liam for his disdain for Cassidy and the rest of the town, his cruel remarks to and about Cassidy, and his cool attitude towards Abby the first half of the book. He redeemed himself by the end of the book, but I spent so much time not liking him through so much of the book, that it was hard to see how his whole personality could change that dramatically. I was even frustrated with his mother at how she was constantly trying to run his love life. Of course, since she had cancer, then I was frustrated with myself for having bad feelings towards her. As with all of Ms. Worthington’s books that I have read, I didn’t catch any errors, it had a good plot, and it had a happy ending, but this was my least favorite because of how I felt while reading it. I received a copy of this book from the author, and have given my voluntary and honest opinion.

A Wedding in Wild Harbor, by Grace Worthington, is book 5 in Wild Harbor Beach Series. It is a well written, easy to imagine, sweet romance story. While this is part of a series, I was able to read and enjoy just this one book. This story touches on illnesses such as epilepsy and cancer and how they affect lives of those who have the illness and those around them.

Cassidy is an employee of the bookstore Liam purchased. He plans to change it to a high tech gym, while she fights hard to keep it a place where she can work with young children who need help reading. Liam is determined to stay single, yet his mom is determined to see him in a relationship before cancer takes her life.

This is such a good story to get lost in. It is a quick read story that is filled with emotion. We see Cassidy who has struggled to get what she wants from life and Liam who is powerful and able to get what he wants. For both of them, their past resurfaces and they need to deal with uncomfortable issues. It was so easy to predict Liam and Cassidy would take their fake relationship to deeper one. I especially enjoyed the character of the elderly family friend who finally decided to fulfill his dream of traveling the world. His short time in the story is so memorable.

I voluntarily received a complimentary copy of this story from NetGalley, this is my honest review.

I did not love the writing. However, I loved Cassidy. Cassidy was so likable and wonderful and feisty and fun to get to know. I enjoyed the back and forth bantering and the enemies-to-lovers arc. (one of my favorite tropes)

I did not like Liam for much of the book. I felt like he was much too harsh in the beginning. However, he does redeem himself. I just don’t know if Cassidy’s willingness to forgive him so easily was realistic as it seemed too much based on physical attraction and not actually his redemptive actions to try and apologize for his behavior.

Because it was an ARC, I didn’t realize this was part of a series, but the book can be read alone. I loved the town, and the antics of the recurring town characters, the charm of that was wonderful – and I really enjoyed the ending of the story as it made me want to go back and read the rest of the series. The ending was so sweet and heartwarming as we reunite with all of the siblings and other characters in kind of a farewell scene. It was fun to read.

I would give this 3.5 stars because the writing style bothered me almost throughout the entire story. Maybe other readers won’t care as much as I did about all that. If you love small town clean and contemporary romances, this was a charming read.

Thank you to the author and publisher and Celebrate lit for the chance to read this book.

A Wedding in Wild Harbor is book 5 in a series. I have not read the others which wasn't a problem through most of the book. There are scenes at the end involving characters that are rarely seen in this novel but which seem to play a part in the overall story.

This is a cute story about two very different people who meet, dislike each other, have to work closely together, and fall for each other. There isn't anything new here. Pretend dating is involved to appease his mother who is convinced he needs a wife. Some of the mother's actions are ridiculous. Maybe they were meant to be comic relief, but it made me roll my eyes instead of laugh. However, his response, while way too calm for what she did - shows his genuine love for her. There is some extra conflict thrown in about two-thirds of the way through the story. It comes out of nowhere. A little lead in to it would have been nice.

Overall I enjoyed the book. The story is a little uneven, with some realistic issues and actions that keep it grounded. The characters are likeable, and the pacing is solid.

This is a clean romance and is appropriate for any reader.

Thanks to Netgalley for a copy of the book. Opinions are mine.

A Wedding in Wild Harbor is a sweet romantic novel with little to no suspense though it’s not without a few bumps along the path. Sometimes I need a break from my love of suspense and it’s then I turn to a sweet romance novel. This one is romance but it’s also comedy and had me giggling and even laughing out loud through parts of it.

You know it’s a good book when your husband asks you why you’re laughing and smiling almost the whole time you’re reading! Oh and it takes you next to no time at all to read it cover to cover.

This is the first book in this series I’ve read though it is book five. It definitely read well as a stand-alone novel though I do know I’ll be adding all of the others to my to be read pile! It grows constantly but I also know that this series will be done within a few days!

I highly recommend you grab the book and laugh along with the antics of Liam and Cassidy and what a little pretending can do to everyone.

A Wedding in Wild Harbor is book 5 in the Wild Harbor Beach series. The series is written by Grace Worthington. I have not read the whole series, and I did not have any issues following along. The story will draw you in quickly and keep you entertained.

Cassidy Woods has been working at Books Forever. The couple that owns it is ready to retire. Enter Liam Henry - he is an investor and wants to turn it into a modern gym. Cassidy is heartbroken since she loves the book shop so much despite the fact it has been losing money. Liam is a grump and does not care about the bookstore. His mother is dying - and wants to see him meet the girl of his dreams. The pair strike a deal, pretend to date and he will keep the bookstore open a bit longer.

This book made me smile a lot throughout. I love the characters, they are well written. I felt that the author did a great job creating them. They are well written. I loved the beach setting. I hope to read more from this author.

Thank you to the author, publisher and Celebrate Lit for allowing me to read a copy of this book. All thoughts are my own.

A bookstore setting with the ocean thrown in for good measure, both my happy places!
Books Forever is Cassidy’s lifeblood although she doesn’t own it, just an employee. The sweet couple that owns it is ready to retire and they have been losing money from the store for a while. It’s time to sell which breaks Cassidy’s heart. She is a struggling student working two jobs just to keep herself afloat.
Liam comes in ready to buy. He wants to turn it into a modern gym, something that small town Wild Harbor does not have. All it takes is two stubborn people wanting their own way to get the story interesting. Other characters make the story even more enjoyable. Although the ending was kind of strange in some ways, it made a happy ending for this reader. Who could ask for more?
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher through Celebrate Lit but was not required to write a review, positive or otherwise.

This is the first book I have read in this series and I chose it because I enjoy reading stories that include bookstores (since I’ve worked in one and also as a librarian—books are in my blood). This novel had a familiar theme—trying to save a bookstore struggling to survive. Cassidy Woods loves working at the store and helping children in her reading program. When her livelihood is threatened, she is desperate to find a solution. This makes for an intriguing tale as she butts heads with the handsome, rich new owner, Liam Henry. Their relationship carries the drama and the tender story through its ups and downs as we come alongside as they gradually undergo a transformation. I like the way they realized what is truly important and how they care for others. This will touch your heart and may make you think about your own perceptions and relationships. I received a copy from Celebrate Lit. All opinions are my own.

Cassidy Woods works in a bookstore in Wild Harbor. Part of her job is a children's reading program. Liam Henry is a wealthy business man who wants to buy the store and change into a business that will make more money for him. Add into the mix Liam's matchmaking mother, his young niece, the kooky older citizens, Cassidy's sisters, Cassidy's ex boyfriend and you get a crazy romance between two people who don't seem suited for each other but who are determined to work things out. The most important thing to Cassidy is saving the reading program and Liam is bound and determined to thwart his mother's trying to get him a wife. This book is an enjoyable end to the author's series about Wild Harbor. I received a free digital copy of this book for an honest review. I have posted my voluntary opinion.

Book five in Grace Worthington’s Wild Harbor Beach series can definitely be read as a stand alone. I haven’t read the first four and understanding this one was no problem. I understand each book follows a sibling so I’m sure they’re worth reading.

A sweet clean romance, we meet Liam who is indeed grumpy and driven by money. You’ll be surprised to find out why. And we meet Cassidy, who will do whatever she needs to to save her beloved bookstore. Even fooling a dying woman. (It’s not as bad as it sounds, I promise.)

The beginning of this story was somewhat frustrating, based on attitudes and past hurts that are affecting things. But we see hope throughout, and there are laughs to be had.. Give it a read!

The first chapter of this book kept me laughing as Cassidy and Liam met for the first time during an unexpected and somewhat “messy”situation. We get a front row seat throughout the book hoping to see Liam’s transformation from being a “grump” to a nice guy and also cheering for Cassidy to find a happiness that she wasn’t sure would ever be hers. Liam’s mother and her match-making efforts added several extra smiles to the story. There’s some serious and heart-tugging moments, too, that add depth to the story.

If you’re looking for an entertaining, winsome romance, try this book. I haven’t yet read the other books in this series, but I’ve already purchased and downloaded the whole series so that I can read more about the community of Wild Harbor.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher. All opinions are my own.

A Wedding in Wild Harbor by Grace Worthington centers around a bookstore. Cassidy Woods dreams of owning the bookstore she currently works. Liam Henry, a wealthy investor, buys the bookstore and plans to close it.

Liam’s mother is dying, and she wishes to see her son married before she dies. So when the two meet, their lives change. She agrees to be his girlfriend in exchange for him helping her try to save the bookstore. I loved seeing how the author developed the characters and storyline.

Liam is driven and focused. Cassidy is more free-spirited. I appreciated the dynamics between the two. As someone who loves bookstores and books, I highly recommend this book. So check it out for yourself.

I received a complimentary copy of this book, but this in no way influenced my review. All opinions are my own.

This last book in the series Wild Harbor Beach was sweet and romantic. Cassidy is a small-town girl who works for a bookstore. Liam is a rich businessman who just bought a building in Wild Harbor, which causes him to spend time in Wild Harbor. Cassidy isn't ready to move on from her small-town life and doesn't think that she is worthy of a relationship. Liam is taking care of his niece Abby and his mom, who both want him to find love. Cassidy and Liam don't have the best start to their relationship; it is out of the need to get something out of it on both ends. This romance of secretly dating to actually falling in love. While this book isn't my favorite in the series, I loved how this series ended with all the characters from all of the books. I can't wait to read more books by Grace Worthington.

This book definitely kept me intrigued and wanting to read more and more until the end. I admit, , Liam was not like able until towards the middle of the story, but he won me over. Cassidy, however, I loved her straight up from the beginning. In some ways I could relate to her and I love it when I can relate to someone in a book. The plot kept me in suspense on what was going to happen next and, while it was a typical happily ever after, it was nice to see two people really work at forgiving, letting some things go, and giving each other grace.

Also, I did not know that this was book five in the series so I have some catching up to do. I do recommend this book.

I graciously received an advance e-copy from netgalley for review. All opinions are my own.

The way he barked orders at Abby reminded her of Captain Von Trapp. It wouldn’t surprise her if he even had a special whistle.”

A Wedding in Wild Harbor is a modern clean romance that gives all the small town vibes you could want!

This was big time grumpy sunshine! Liam is the guy every girl would want… except Cassidy! Which is why their fake dating idea doesn’t seem like a good one…. until it stops feeling like it’s fake!

Grace covered some tough topics!

-cancer
-epilepsy
-ex fiancés
-financial hardship
-blackmail

I loved this one though. I needed a good modern romance to switch up my reading.

It has the sweetest ending!

Thank you so much Grace for sending me this wonderful story. You can tell your heart was in it and you cared for these characters.
