His Runaway Bride is the sixth book in The Man For Her series and I loved this story about Laurel and Seth. Laurel works at a marketing firm where she met her fiance, Michael. Since they have gotten together she has turned herself inside out to be what he wanted her to be. But today, on their wedding day, she has had enough when she learns he slept with one of her bridesmaids at his bachelor party. So she leaves him at the alter and makes a run for it where a couple blocks from home she slips into a butcher shop to get a big steak to cook, as she has not had meat in a long time. Seth is the local butcher who bought the shop several years ago and since then has redone the shop and the product he stocks. When he hears the bell above the door ring he is surprised to find a young woman entering wearing a wedding dress, and fighting with it as she mutters to herself. Something in him sparks and so their story begins.....one that is a fantastic, fun, quirky, entertaining, sexy and romantic journey to the HEA they were meant to have together.

Seth has never believed in love at first sight, that is until this very night. The odds though are not in his favor. You see, the woman he feels this instant connection with is, there in a wedding dress. Yet, the train of the dress looks tattered, and dirty. The other downside for him is, he had never seen, Laurel in the seven years that, Seth has owned the store. She has never been in the store, also he has never seen her in the neighborhood.

In a form-fitting and off-the-shoulder dress, that flairs below the knees. She asks for a big thick ribeye in almost a defiant way. A really cute short story.
Laurel has finally had enough of her fiancé, well ex-fiancé now.

Taking back control of her life, Laurel runs...runs to the first butcher shop she finds and gets herself a nice big juicy steak. Something her ex-fiancé would never approve of. The butcher himself isn't so bad on the eyes either. Too bad Laurel wants nothing to do with a man anymore...at least that's what she thinks.
Seth soon has her rethinking things. Things she thought she could do without in a relationship. He makes her feel like a queen. But will Seth be able to finally muster up the courage and take what he wants?.

This is book number 6 of The Man For Her series and focuses on Seth and Laurel. These two meet when Laurel runs out on her wedding day after finding out her fiance cheated on her with her friend and after some soul searching. She hated that he constantly tried to change everything about her. So she goes to Seth’s butcher shop and buys herself a nice ribeye steak since that was one of the things her fiance didn’t want her eating. Seth is immediately captivated by Laurel and feels an undeniable connection to her that he has never felt before. They strike up a friendship and eventually act on their mutual connection. I absolutely love the life they created together! This was a great addition to the series!

This was a wonderful short read. Laurel is a bride on the run from a cheating groom-to-be. She ends up in Seth’s butcher shop in her wedding dress. Seth is shy and awkward with women. He is too afraid to ask her what is going on that he totally ignores the dress and simply asks her how he could help her.
From the second Laurel walked into his shop, Seth was smitten with her. He knew that she was in a precarious situation so he never led on that he had feelings for her. In turn, Laurel was also taken with Seth. It was only a matter of Tim and one interfering friend.
The steamy scenes were great! This author has never let me down when it comes to her books. She is an amazing author that you can enjoy.

Laurel had been all set to marry her fiance when she learned that he cheated on her with one of her friends at his bachelor party. Laurel just took off in her wedding gown. Looking back she realized that she had let her fiance control her life just to keep him but she is over it now. She goes to a nearby butcher shop in her dress to by the biggest steak to cook and eat. She meets Seth the butcher who is very kind to her. At home cooking her steak, she is surprised to find Seth at her door. He found her wallet that she dropped in his store. The two enjoy talking with each other but both think that the other wants to be just friends.

Just as she was supposed to get married Laurel caught her fiance cheating on her so instead of becoming a bride she becomes a runaway bride and runs right into Seth's butcher shop. I loved the way the author brought Seth and Laurel together and how they didn't rush into a relationship but they took their time and made it a love to last. This is a very short, sweet love story with believable characters and a happily ever after. My only complaint is that I wish the story had been longer because when stories are so short it just feels rushed. Other than that I loved the story. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

Super sweet story. Laurel stumbles into her future when she goes to Seth's shop. She was running from her wedding but understandably so. I think Seth took one look and fell. I love that he stood up for her and stood by her side rather than them just jumping into a relationship. The author handled the buildup well and we get a really good HEA for these two.

In this book we meet Laurel & Seth.When this book opens we find that Laurel is running into Seth's Butcher shop in a wedding dress. The next customer shows him that she left her wallet and ID. When these two meet will they find that someone special they never knew they can find?

Really cute novella where a bride finds out on her wedding day that her fiancé cheated on her with one of her bridesmaids. She takes off and ends up in a hunky butcher’s shop. Spending every day trying to be everything her fiancé wants; thinner, more sophisticated, more attentive, etc., she decides to indulge in a big ole steak. Accidentally leaving her wallet behind gives Seth, the butcher an excuse to see her again. Sparks fly but after just getting rid of her cheating fiancé, being friends sounds pretty good right now. We’ll see how long that lasts…

A quick, but satisfying read
There was just enough to make this more satisfying than other instalove stories. I guess it was the extra time they spent together, even though it was off page. It would have been nice if more of the reason for her break up was touched on - why, with who? Also he's worried about the age difference, but it doesn't get addressed with he's this age and she's this age. But other than that, they were a sweet couple and their HEA was sweet.

His Runaway Bride was a great, quick, sexy little read. I loved the friendship that was immediate between both Seth and Laurel on the day she ran from her cheating fiancé. I loved even more the relationship that ignited 6 weeks later as a result of no longer being able to hide their true feelings. Such a wonderfully written, beautiful told story. I can never get enough of Kate Hunt’s books. 5 Stars.

Good short and sweet romance
I liked this short and tender romance, also hot, between Laurel who escaped before her marriage and who meets a butcher, Seth who brings her something she hasn't had for months because of her ex, a piece of meat ( not a joke). Their friendship and their story is simple, but effective.

Loved It! I liked the way the story started, it was different and very creative. I enjoyed the old man, and his wisdom, his customer, who turned out to be right. I liked that they took it slow and became friends first. Her friend was awesome, helping him to see that he had a chance with her. Loved their epilogue.

Fun quick read. I was hesitant to buy it because it was so incredibly short - Amazon has it listed as 40 something pages, and it still feels like the cost was a bit much for this amount of story.

An instalove short story and Laurel lands up in Seth's butchery looking for a delicious piece of steak still wearing her wedding dress. She leaves her wallet in his shop by mistake and he returns it to her. This starts a warm and friendly relationship but both are wishing for more. A cute story.
