While on the Detta Hightower Bridge, Vampire Hunter Renwick Potter was about to impale a female vampire when a drunk driver struck him.
The vampire was about to leave when she heard her injured savior yell out for help. She pulled him from the wreckage and bit him to save his life. After calling 911, she flew away in the night.
Bobby Shepherd was awakened from his coma by a familiar voice. But when he opened his eyes there were two police officers standing there.
"What happened on the bridge," they ask. Bobby says "I don't remember" and passes out.
