I like to think of myself as a storyteller who brings families together through the medium of picture books. Whether it is between a parent or child or a grandparent and child. These stories are intended to be light-hearted and funny and most importantly the stories engage young readers to be a part of the story itself. My hope is that these books will help build upon a child's love for reading and allow families to laugh and enjoy spending time together. Sammy sees a cookie, but he can't eat it until he has milk. So, he goes hunting for milk. He finds a lot of things before he finds milk. Then, he can't find a cup, so he goes looking for it. He looks for so many things before he can get back to his cookie. Will the cookie be there?
I love Sammy. He does need to simplify his life. Grab your stuff and take it with you, Sammy, so you don't have to backtrack. He manages to get into trouble, like always. Somehow, he gets out of trouble but it's not always easy. And you know what will happen at the end. Oh, Sammy, carry your belongings with you!
I look forward to Sammy and his adventures. They never fail to make me laugh.
