He’s Freedom Valley's blue-collar hottie. I’m the housekeeper at the Golden Gable Inn, obsessed with gardening and creating a simple life for my son and me. He’s a mechanic by trade, so he fixes things. He tried to fix me, but it turns out we needed to fix each other. . .
When I said "I do" five years ago, I was young and had no idea the nightmare I was walking into.
When I finally escaped my husband with my young son, we ended up at an idyllic family-owned New England inn, living under new names and building a life that was safe and happy with new friends that became like family to us. I thought had figured out a way to make our lives beautiful and happy again.
Then I met Ty, the sexy and charming yet protective mechanic who didn't seem to mind my complicated past. But then we unexpectedly ended up housemates, and he became everything I never knew I wanted or needed.
Like any good mechanic, he’s good at fixing broken things, and he’s been hard at work fixing my heart.
He showed us what a real family could be like and fixed the family he didn’t break.
And now, I can’t imagine our lives without him.
Only it turns out we both may have something to hide.
When secrets surface and truths are revealed, can our hearts be rebuilt?
*All Inn Thyme is a complete stand-alone and can be read without reading any of the other books, but if you prefer to read in order, start with Falling Inn Love as the characters and families are connected.*

Plot wise, I liked this better than book 1, but book 2 def takes the top spot for me. This had the same repetitive nature of alluding to some big reveal, and then the big reveal being kind of predictable and thus a little underwhelming. That being said tho, I love this plot! Another single mom in this series, this one though is on the run/in hiding from an abusive ex. It’s pretty insta-lovey, but I didn’t really mind. This to me was similar to “Safe Haven” by Nicholas Sparks, one of my favorites (if not my #1 fave) by him. The slight differences being Ty has his own secrets and Mellie is the single parent. I think this story was very tame compared to others with similar plots… there wasn’t some epic showdown from the ex or anything like that. There wasn’t really a whole lot going on other than building the romance between Ty and Mellie and the two characters allowing themselves to be in this relationship. Overall enjoyable, so far in second place for me with this series. I am looking forward to the rest of the series, though just waiting for the next book(s) to be released in audio format! 🤞🏻
Another heartwarming installment of the Freedom Valley series that revolves around a small town New England Inn and all has a wonderful cast of found family.
This friends to lovers, forced proximity, dual POV, slow-burn romance sees single mom Mellie on the run from her abusive husband with her son Kase. She's trying to live a quiet life in Freedom Valley working on her community gardens and farmer's market business.
Enter sexy cinnamon roll mechanic Ty, who just can't help being there for Mellie whenever she seems to need an extra hand. His adorable pitbull mix rescue dog doesn't hurt either. Both MCs are hiding some pretty big secrets though and it will take trust and help from their friends to find their HEA.
Great on audio narrated by Sophie Daniels and Chris Brinkley. Many thanks to the author and Home Cooked Books for an early ALC copy in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own and I'm excited to read the next book in this series that just oozes Gilmore Girls and Hallmark movie vibes.
Please check TWs/CWs before reading. While this is a feel-good small town romance, there are mentions/descriptions of domestic violence (NOT between FMC & MMC).
Don’t let the cute cartoon cover fool you, this book is EMOTIONAL. While each book can be read as a complete standalone, I do recommend reading the first 2 so you can get to spend more time with the FMC and her son. Reading the first 2 isn’t necessary for this one, but Kase is so cute all the way through and they’re worth reading.
While my personal experiences are not to the level that Mellie went through, as a survivor of an extremely emotionally abusive relationship, I love reading about women’s strength in overcoming these situations.
This is series of romances that are VERY mild on the spice. I am a lover of spice, so this isn’t something you normally see on my page/profile. However, this series will make you feel the feels.
Tropes/Highlights: - Friends-to-lovers - Found family - Single mom - Tragic pasts - Small town romance
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 🌶️/5
I received this as an ARC and this is my honest opinion.
This is the third book in the Freedom Valley series, but it can absolutely be read as a stand-alone. You will not feel lost if you read this book without the others. However, you should totally read the first two books because they are great!
This story is all about Mellie and how far she has come from her past and how much she has grown. She is doing what she loves most, being a mom, gardening, and helping out in the Golden Gable Inn. She is working towards her goal of opening a market where she can make a profit from her gardening.
Ty is in town on an assignment, which you learn more about. He meets Mellie and you just see how he would do anything for her and her son Kase.
They are adorable together and it was so great to see Mellie put her guard down and start to trust again. I also loved how Ty’s dog never leaves Kase's side, it is so adorable!
Overall, I absolutely loved this book and all the characters in it. Freedom Valley has become one of my favorite small towns. Everyone looks out for one another, they will drop everything if someone needs help, and they treat you like family.
Thank you for allowing me to read this as an arc . This is book 3 in the series and they are all connected . You should read books in order or you may be confused about some topics. The town of freedom valley is small and makes everyone feel welcome . I love the authors writing style and has always drawn me in from page one. As is her custom this book ends on a cliffhanger that will make you want to read the next book. This book has a romance that is cute and sweet but it does deal with some heavier topics. They are not discussed in length but they are mentioned. There is one sex scene at very end of the book. Not sure on how bad as I skipped over it

**thank you so very much to erin branscom and brianna cooper for a free ARC in exchange for an honest review**
**spoilers ahead!**
✨*big tw for mentions and descriptions of domestic abuse* ✨friends to lovers ✨found family ✨tragic past and secrets
when mellie can’t deal with her ex-husband bradley’s extreme physical and psychological abuse anymore, she takes her son kase and escapes mississippi to freedom valley. there she meets new friends who become family and develops strong feelings for ty harden, who everyone can see returns them. but because of mellie’s terrible past, she has a tough time learning to trust and love again. what will it take for her to overcome her past and heal?
THOUGHTS: — where do i find me a ty?! — to me, nova was like a therapy dog—i was really glad she was part of the story — i was not expecting the ending to turn out the way it did (i was so sure bradley would come stomping into freedom valley looking for her) but i’ve never been so happy for a fictional character’s death

This series just keeps getting better and better. This book is the 3rd one in the Freedom Valley series. Ty & Mellie are our main characters in this book.
Mellie arrived at the Inn a year ago with her son and is the Inn’s housekeeper and with her green thumb, now the one who provides fresh produce and herbs. She’s also preparing her garden and greenhouse for produce to sell at the farmers market. Her back story is heart breaking and she is a true fighter.
Ty is the hot mechanic that every time Mellie sees him, she instantly stares and feels all tingly. He has two jobs, one during the day and one at night. By day he works as a mechanic and night he works at the local factory. (You find out his back story and who he really is.) He is so kind and gentle with Millie and her son. He’s also a dog dad and their relationship is so cute!
What I loved most about this book was how it’s all found family. Everyone is in sync and helps out each other, as if they were all truest blood related.

Tropes: Secret Identity Single Mom Found Family Forced Proximity Dog Dad Small Town
I’m a sucker for a single parent rom com, which is funny bc I’ve been married more than half my life lmao
I’ve been wanting to finish this series forever but I bought the physical copy of this and tend to grab my kindle over a physical book, lesson learned. Will be reading the next book on kindle.
This entire series is so underrated. The author is really good at making all of her characters likable and unique, without accidentally making them the “quirky” type of unique, but instead the actual relatable and enjoyable unique.
Anyway, if you’re into rom coms with cozy vibes, this entire series is fabulous and literally hits every single trope you can imagine.
listen I’m a simple girl I see a cute dog on a romance book and I want to read it. This was the first book I’ve read in this series and I was a bit confused by all the characters at the start but I think it works well as a stand-alone and I want to read the others too! I didn’t really feel the initial connection between Ty & Mellie but I was still rooting for them. This book also addressed an important topic and had a good message about it at the start
Give me a small town, found family romance with hot tattooed men and dogs and I'm going to be a happy reader!
Mellie is a single mom who's past relationship was traumatic, and she's on a path to healing. Now living in the small town of Freedom Valley, she's surrounded herself with some of the best friends, started working at the inn, is being the best mom to her son, Kase, and has been gardening...lots and lots of gardening. Outside of her very small circle, she hasn't exposed herself to anyone, until another newbie in town, Ty, starts joining their friend events.
Ty is the sweetest guy, who just wants to settle down and have a family to come home to, but his unconventional job has been a roadblock. As he gets to know Mellie and Kase, their budding romance makes Ty realize what he needs to do in order to make things work, but it's not going to be easy - he's been living a double life and knowing how Mellie has been hurt in the past, he doesn't know how he's going to explain things to her.
This is the 3rd book in the Freedom Valley series and I read it as a stand alone, but now I can't wait to go back and read the others. Freedom Valley reminds me of one of my favorite small towns, Stars Hollow! I loved Mellie's courage and strength, and seeing her begin to open herself to the possibility of Ty is heartwarming.
I rarely finish a book in one day but I had to find out what happened. Mellie has been working at the inn for over a year as the housekeeper and is now planning on starting a large garden so the inn will have fresh vegetables and herbs. Almost no one knows that she is fleeing an abusive ex. Ty is a mechanic who showed up in Freedom Valley about the same time as Mellie. He has two part time jobs, a mechanic in Sam’s auto shop and nights at the local factory. He also has a secret. But when he meets Mellie and her son, Kase, he’s instantly drawn to them, and so is his pit bull, Nova. She becomes Kase’s protector, and Ty wants to protect them too. But will Mellie let him when she learns the truth? I enjoyed this book and I would recommend it to everyone.
Found Family, a little force proximity, single mom, small town romance.
This was such a cute and heartwarming story!!! While this is book three in the series, it is easy to read as a standalone. I’ve read book two and enjoyed seeing the characters around. I really enjoyed Mellie and her growth in creating her garden and the town’s Farmers Market. Ty was fantastic at helping build things and really just how he always encouraged Mellie. This series just keeps getting better!
There were some sexy thoughts and one mild sexy scene at the end but the chemistry between the two was fantastic.
The dual narrators did a fantastic job, and I would definitely listen to them again. Thanks to Home Cooked Books for an ALC copy in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own.
I loved this small town, single mom, emotional, found family romance! This is the third book in the series and it can be read as a standalone.
While this book isn't spicy it delivers on the feels. I love Erin Branscom's writing and her books draw me in from the first page. The MCs in this book were perfect for each other and I loved how this book addresses an important topic with the right sentiment.
I loved the slow burn, the plot, and the twists. I can't wait for more in this series!
Fantastic. Love the entire series and can’t wait for the rest of the books. Awesome love story with plot and twists. Not much spice but a very slow burn. Loved it.
Erin Branscom had done me in! I have fallen in love with all the characters at this Inn. This series gives me all the good feels. I can't wait for my next trip to New Hampshire and to stay at a small inn! This is one series I don't want to end. Keep them coming.
Mellie has found a home for her and her son at the Golden Gable Inn after escaping an abusive husband. Ty is new in town, working at the mechanics and has taken a far away interest in Mellie. Ty starts renting a house on the Golden Gable Inn property and is hidding his own secrets from everyone in town.
While preparing a huge garden on the property Mellie's property floods and she and her son are forced to move in with Ty while it gets fixed. Can she learn to trust again and can he prove himself worthy of it?
If you like adorable dogs, funny interactions, best friend advice, love for a simple life, and cozy small towns this would be a great option! The plot and characters are great and if it was just based on that I would have given this a higher rating but the writting is where is fell short for me. I think there is a lot of room for growth in future books so I look forward to the rest of the series.
Tropes: Care taking; damsel in distress; single parent; dog; small town; secret identity; Inn; forced proximity;
This installment in the series follows Mellie and Ty. Mellie has secrets and trauma from her past and Ty is new in town working as a mechanic. 🌿small town 🌿forced proximity 🌿insta-love (sort-of??) 🌿single parent 🌿a cute puppy!
I loved how involved all the characters from the other books are. It truly gives it a found family aspect.
This book had so much potential but I think I just needed more. More from the characters (depth and character development) more from the plot (it was a good story line but felt so rushed, and I especially wanted more from the girl gang that is forming. This relationship could have been everything but I feel like it was formed more on their individual thoughts and not enough in actual interactions with each other.
It was a super easy quick and fun read but just very mediocre.
JUST WHEN I THOUGHT I COULDN’T LOVE AN ERIN BRANSCOM BOOK MORE, SHE COMES OUT WITH A NEW ONE.
You will seriously fall in love with the circle of characters in Freedom Valley through this series. The Golden Gable Inn is honestly just everything and each book on this series just keeps getting better and better.
All in Thyme follows Mellie and Ty. Both our MCs are holding deep secrets about who they really are to those around them. While one does confide in those around them quickly, the other doesn’t and almost looses everything when they’re found out.
I JUST ADORE MELLIE. As a single mom who is a domestic violence survivor I honestly just relate to Mellie much. I cried, celebrating and just truly loved her the entire book. Her character went through such heavy character development and I was seriously so proud of her.
Ty is honestly just such a gentleman. I adored that he kept saying he couldn’t sleep with Mellie until she knew who he really was. He fell fast and he fell HARD, for not only Mellie but for Kas as well. The way he would offer Mellie comfort in being present and spending time together was just swoon worthy! He would point out what she viewed as flaws and compliment them. He’d make her tea. SWOON.
This story will have you laughing, crying and just purely feeling like one of the girls with Allie, Beth, Sasha and Mellie. I adore how Erin sets up her next book in the Epilogue and i am IMMEDIATELY ready for Paige’s story! I also just am such a sucker for a bookstore setting.
Let’s also take a second to truly shout out Erin, her writing is just fabulous. You want to binge and never put the book down. She does a really good job at making you feel like you’re in the story and not just telling you things, but she shows you.
It’s giving: Single Mom, Small Town Romance, Forced Proximity
BE SURE TO READ TW ON THIS BOOK! A lot of hard topics are discussed.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
Book 3 in the series it stands alone but gets the best impact if you know the back story from the previous books.
What to expect: - Single Mom - Found Family - Past Trauma - Living with secrets - Forced Proximity - Lovable Goofball Pit Bull Nanny Dog
Mellie & Ty's story is emotional at times. They are both living with secrets, but as they become friends and Mellie opens up, Ty realizes his secrets could get in the way of everything he wants. Ty's dream right now is a family, someone to come home to at the end of the day (other than his dog Nova). Mellie and her son Case are exactly who he wants to be with, as long as they can get past what he's unable to share.
These two characters broke my heart at times. Mellie wants to feel safe and protected while having her dreams supported and her joys encouraged. Ty wants to give that to her. The have chemistry from the start but their pasts get in the way. The history that Mellie has been through is intense (check the trigger warnings, it's handled well, but it could be upsetting to some) and Ty recognizes the minefield really quickly, especially when they start sharing a house.
The audiobook is performed by Chris Brinkley and Sophie Daniels. Both of these narrators were perfect for the characters they portrayed. Sophie's range in portraying Mellie was delightful, from joyous and passionate to tentative and emotional, she had it all. Her anger and fierceness at times was so much fun and turned on a dime into embarrassment or shyness. She's a very complex character and it make my heart ache for her past self and all that she went through to become the woman we meet here. Chris's voice is so smooth like butter and I loved it. The way he allowed Ty's accent to peek out at times the way Ty was torn over the secrets he keeps, the longing to be part of a family... it was so gripping to listen to, I didn't want to stop.
I requested and was provided with an advanced copy of the audiobook. These are my honest opinions.
I have been waiting for this book since we first met Mellie in Falling Inn Love! Let me tell you Erin Branscom wrote Ty and Mellie wonderfully!
All Inn Thyme is a small town, single mom, close proximity romance that will have you swooning over the kind and heartfelt characters. This was such a great read. I didn't want to be an adult and put it down! When I tell you this is my "Hallmark series read", I am not exaggerating. This series, especially this book, gives you such Hallmark vibes. I love everything that has to do with Mellie! She is such a strong character, that I feel even though she struggles with her life she is such a wonderful person. Ty is so sweet and caring and automatically likable. These two together are instantly a strong connection. I love seeing the characters from past books and I love the children that are in this world. It is a really fun and enjoyable world that makes you feel like you are there and immediately apart of their family. This was definitely a five star read for me. I love the cuteness, I love the family aspect, I love the happy feeling I get after reading the world of Freedom Valley.
This was such a great read, and I live for being in the Freedom Valley world. I can't wait for more in this world that is coming. I definitely, definitely recommend this book and this series to others to read!
*Audiobook Review* TW/CW WARNING: Discussion and descriptions of domestic abuse (not between MFC/MMC)
This book can be read as a standalone, but I'd highly recommend reading them in order since they're very much intertwined. Plus, they're cute and sweet, with some feels thrown in.
This is Mellie and Ty's story. After listening to the previous books I was so happy to hear her getting her own HEA. She is the maid at the Golden Gable Inn and loves to garden in her free time. Her 4 year old son Kase is absolutely adorable too. Ty is the local part-time mechanic and... more. Neither of them were looking for a long-term relationship, or really any relationship at all, but they crushed hard on each other. Their friends play matchmaker and they end up kissing on a group date. Mellie gets spooked because of the abusive marriage she'd escaped from. Ty is unsure about his future when his current job ends.
They have some unfortunate, yet hilarious encounters, and end up in a forced proximity situation. Ty adores her and Kase and is so incredibly tender, nurturing, and protective of them. As is his sweet dog, Nova. Mellie opens up about her past, but Ty has a big secret he can't share with her. One that could send her running again.
This series is very low on spice and high on humor and feels! Chris Brinkley and Sophie Daniels are new to me narrators and I'm definitely a fan after this one.
I’m in love with the Freedom Valley series! This is my 2nd book and I cannot wait to read the rest!
*Check TW before reading! Scenes of domestic violence*
All Inn Thyme follows Mellie & Ty, Mellie’s son Kase and Ty’s cute pup Nova! Mellie is the housekeeper at the Golden Gable Inn, living in the garden shed on the Inn’s property and escaping her scary past while keeping her and her son safe. The crew at the Inn has welcomed her with open arms and they are truly a safe haven for many. In comes Ty, a mechanic who is new in town. And he’s hot…really hot 🥵 Mellie immediately wants to explore more with him but is hesitant because of her past and her reluctancy to trust. Ty has a secret that he can’t disclose and doesn’t want Mellie to get the wrong idea about him. Is Ty the one who will help Mellie flourish and grow?? Find out on 3/30 when All Inn Thyme is released!!
Thank you SO much Erin for allowing me to read another one of your books! I am hooked and I CANNOT wait to read the next one and learn about Paige!! ❤️
Do you like the found family trope? Small town vibes where everyone knows everyone and helps each other out? Books that leave you feeling satisfied and cozy at the end and are a quick read? Dual POV? Then this addition to the perfect series of interconnected standalones is for you!
I absolutely adore the family in this series and how this inn in a small town brings people together as well as became the safe refuge for those who need it. You can’t help but fall in love with the characters and their stories and you’ll feel enveloped in their love and compassion. I would move to Freedom Valley in a heartbeat!
Mellie and her young son have found refuge at the inn after escaping an abusive household down south. Mellie helps around the inn and has a passion for gardening and helping the community using her green thumb skills. She’s guarded yet has a heart of gold and a desire to help those out around her. Enter Ty, the new guy around Freedom Valley who has a knack for fixing things, works the night shift, and has his eye on Mellie. While I did think their relationship considering the circumstances moved rather quickly, I liked the moments of tension, acts of service, and how cute they were together. I also loved the relationship between Ty’s dog Nova and Mellie’s son and it’ll melt your heart.
This was a cute and fast read that leaves you feeling all cozy and satisfied. The characters feel genuine and you can’t help but love them all and cross your fingers that each side character will get their own book and happy ending.
Thank you to the author for sending me a PR package as well as an eARC in exchange for an honest review!
This is the third book in the Freedom Valley series but can be read as a standalone, however Mellie is introduced and is a background character in the first two books. This book is a slow burn. The chemistry between Mellie and Ty is strong but they each have their secrets. Mellie is finally opening up to those that she has become close with and consider to be her found family. Ty is still hiding a secret that has the potential to ruin everything. Will he win Mellie's trust back? Well to know all the details you are just going to have to read for yourself to find out! I absolutely loved this book and I'm super excited for the next book in the Freedom Valley series.
Mellie is trying to stay under the Radar with her son Kase after leaving her abusive husband. She is doing that until she meets the new mechanic in town Ty.
I love Freedom Valley and these love stories. This is a great small town romance series. This is slow burn, nothing spicy happens until the end but it is all worth it.
Mellie is learning how to trust again after her last marriage and you can see the tenderness with Ty as he works on building the trust Mellie needs in the relationship.
Plus the way he acts with Kase 🤗
This story is so well written and really draws you in but it’s not too long that you feels like it drags on too much. I can’t wait to see why happens next in this small town.

This is the third book in the Freedom Valley series and I highly recommend you read the first two as well.
This book follows Mellie and Ty. Mellie is a single mother who is just trying to keep herself and her son safe after going through a difficult situation. Mellie has a hard time trusting men and then here comes Ty. Ty is patient, sweet, caring and just an all around good guy.
Overall, I loved this book and characters. I wish there was a small town just like Freedom Valley that I can personally live in. I cannot wait to read the next book in this series!
I recommend reading this book if you love: -Small Town Romances -Close Proximity -Found Family -Hallmark Vibes -Gilmore Girls Vibes
TW: mentions and scenes of domestic violence not between the main characters but from pervious relationships
This is my first book in the series, and I definitely want to go back and read the other ones. There are certain characters from previous books that I miss the story line from. I suggest maybe reading/listening to the books in order for that reason.
I thought it was going to start out as a cute single parent, small town romance but overtime it became more than that. This book was filled with a lot more emotion than I anticipated. There was a lot of character growth which I thoroughly enjoyed. I find sometimes a lot of books can easily miss that. With some heavy secrets between the main characters, I felt sometimes that it was taking a little bit too long to reveal certain things. One of the secrets I completely understand. I just didn’t enjoy how it came out at the last few chapters. And because of that, I felt the ending was really rushed.
If you are looking for spice, don’t go into this book expecting it. There was one scene near the end and that was it.
I actually thought that Chris Brinkley and Sophie Daniels were a great pairing for this book. They really complemented each other, and it was enjoyable to listen to them. I am more of a fan of dual narration, but with these two narrators, I didn’t have an issue at all.
