Wow! What a Book! Adventure, Drama, plus Historically factual. How could you go wrong? I learned a lot about Jedidiah Smith and his part in our discovery of California and Oregon plus the Mexican , Indian and the Hawaiians part in all of it. You're interesting. Good read!!!
I love a good story. This series was that to me. I like to read about the American west and the strong men and women that opened the wast. I also feel sad for the people who had a life in the west they loved and lost.the wast.
A good series, not great, good. I honestly don't know why it's not great, he's familiar and accurate with the venue and it's an ok story line. But it just didn't grab me the way a great story does. Oh well, they can't all be great.
