Sigh! I love everything about this series. And this book gives me a second chance, too. Watching as the big, bad, alpha hero, Colt, is brought to his knees by his love for the girl he left behind just had me “squee”-ing in delight. Emma personifies pretty much everything I adore about small-town fiction. She’s so warm and caring, and everyone in her orbit gets pulled under her wing to be looked after, family, friend, or otherwise. I loved this pair together. It made me want to tear my hair out when things weren’t going right for them, but it made me so ridiculously happy when it was smooth sailing. I also loved that we got cameos of several previous characters from the series and were able to see a “where are they now?” update. The possibilities for what I think may be coming next already leave me very excited to get my hands on the following book.

“Mine to Hold” is the 8th ‘Wedding Belles Alpha Novel’ by Weston Parker. Although there are some connections between some characters in the series, they are standalone novels and need not be read in any certain order to enjoy them. This is a slow burn, second chance, small-town romance.
Colt couldn’t get out of his small hometown fast enough when he graduated from high school. He had big dreams of seeing the world, having a big career, living a big life. Through hard work, ambition and dedication, Colt made those dreams come true. The hard part was leaving behind his little sister’s best friend, with whom he’d had a secret fling the last summer of high school. Years passed, and he ended up with a polished, city girl … who left him at the altar. Some six months later he’s back in his hometown for his sister’s wedding, and the sight of the girl who got away because he went away, just about knocks him over.
Emma never told her best friend about her long-time crush on Colt, or about the summer when that crash had developed into a secret relationship. Now a local business owner, Emma is once again swept away by those feelings even though she fights it because she knows he is leaving again. Soon. It’s great that this story is told from dual points of view because it enables us to understand what each of the main characters is thinking about, worrying about, and hoping for throughout the story. When Colt and Emma give in to their mutual attraction, every bit of the steamy passion from when they were teenagers is still there, and now it’s incredibly intensified. But the problem remains that she loves their small town, and he still loves his big life.
I enjoyed the way Emma and Colt each share their lifestyle preferences with one another in hopes of persuading one another to change. The heartbreaking moments are truly heartbreaking, and I thought the resolution was excellent. I thought the surprise Cole’s sister had for both of them was a riot. The secondary characters contributed nicely to the story. I thought the ending was suitably sweet and dramatic all at once. It also seems clear who the next book will be about – and I’ll definitely be there for it!

It's been six months since, Colt was cruelly left at the alter, by his ex-fiance, Anna, the world's largest drama queen. He had been throwing himself into his work to keep his demons at bay. But, now he is back home in his hometown, the one he did everything in his power to get out of in the hopes of never going back to.
Yet, here he is walking into his childhood home now, where his baby sister, Teddy, and, her fiance, Scott now live. Ever since his parents passed away, there were too many memories in the town and the family home. But, it is not the time for him to get bogged down with memories.
It's time to contribute to his baby sister's wedding. Especially, since their parents aren't there, to do it for themselves. The skies are the limit. But, in lies the problem. Reece, Colt’s best friend, is also Scott’s big brother. And well, let's just say, Colt and Reeve, don't like to lose.
Teddy and Scott have already decided everything but the brothers both want them not to worry about expenses, which is a great sentiment. But, both brothers are trying to out do each other. Forgetting this is not their wedding it’s their siblings. So, remember it’s not a contest of junks to see who's is the longest.
Emma who is the girl next door, literally speaking, is also a hidden secret of Colt’s. But, when the composition starts getting out of hand, she takes control to shut it down. Treating them like she does her preschoolers. Reece to great offense to her methods.
This was a very good book. The characters had their faults but friends were there when they fell. But, were there when you need a kick in the but. You could feel the love, fear, and anguish as the emotional storms roll through.

If you like second chance romances, you will enjoy MINE TO HOLD. Colt has to return to his hometown for his little sister’s wedding on the heels of being left at the altar just six months ago. Fourteen years ago, Colt couldn’t get out of the small town in Ohio fast enough, but there was this girl he never forgot.

At first, I didn’t like Colt. He seemed oblivious to how he made other people feel. He seemed to lack self control when it came to getting along with the wedding planning. Emma & Colt Have a Sweet Slow Burn Romance
Who says you can't go home again?
Colt has hd the worst time over the past 6 months. His ex left him at the altar and he's not sure if he will ever find love again. Then his sister wants him to give her away at her wedding in their old hometown. That's where he finds his sister Teddy's best friend Emma still living there. And she is still as gorgeous as ever. They had a fling once upon a time in High School, then Colt ran away to get his fortune and glory in New York City. Coming back home, he sees what he was missing with Emma.
Emma hasn't gotten over Colt, but she is so angry with him for trying to take over his sister's wedding. I love that it wasn't an instant return to romance for the two of them. They needed to get to know each other again. To see if they were really a fit. Oh and to make sure his sister didn't find out about the two of them.
Love this romantic story about finding that one person for you, no matter how long it takes to get together!

Colt is still reeling from being left at the alter months before. Now he's back in town with Emma, his first love, girl next door, sister's best friend. So what's the problem? He dreamed of bigger things and never looked back when he and his sister left town. She still loves their small town and can't imagine living anywhere else. She plays referee between Colt and his uber competitive friend, Reece, who each want to be the big player in the wedding of Colt's sister to Reece's brother. Throw in Reece's relationship that's spiraling out of control and things get really interesting. Plenty of drama as Colt and Emma reconnect, each trying to show the other how their life could be great... if they just gave it a try. Will they succeed or will their differences drive them apart? Makes you hope for HEA to win out in the end and for these two to realize what's most important.

Mine to Hold by Weston Parker is a heartwarming,touching,entertaining,steamy and drama to go around..this is a second chance romance story of Colt and Emma..colt grew up in a small town but he can't wait to be out and to see what is out of their small town so when his parent died in a car accident and become an orphan in a young age he grew up fast..Emma love small town life and also the boy she love who left her and not looking back. Her BFF is getting married and guest who is back,Colt her ex and the big brother of Emma's BFF who is now a billionaire and a jet setter and the one who's planning the wedding for his sister,doing that Emma and Colt re connect but can Emma live the life of a jet setter?or can colt know how to compromise to have their HEA finally? read it to find out! Hold this one close
Colt, VP of an international construction conglomerate, returns to his hometown walk his sister down the aisle after being left at the alter some months before, while Emma, the girl next door and his sister’s best friend, has to try to keep her thoughts on the wedding, not her former summer fling and the boy she has loved for most of her life. As the story progresses he tries to one up his friend, she puts her foot down for it to end, and for them to stay together there must be some bend. Weston Parker’s Mine to hold made me hold this one close with all the sweetness but also push it away when they were being dumb. There is one more story to tell in this friend group and it looks like it will be a doozy.

You'll enjoy Emma and Colt's romance if you like small town, second chances. She was his sister's best friend and he had a crush on her years ago. But he left her behind when he left Ohio for greener pastures in New York City. He was down on love and hated weddings since he was recently left at the altar. His heart wasn't prepared to see Emma again and it made things interesting in that she was the maid of honor. The book was well written and the characters were well developed and perfect for each other. The story line was entertaining so be prepared to lose a little sleep. Some twists and a bombshell or two. Another winner for Weston. I received an advance copy of the book from the author.

Another exciting story for this series! I adore second chance at love stories, and Colton and and Emma gave me all the feels, especially once Colton made his intentions clear when it came to Emma and all those big, ginormous feelings he has for her. And Emma is the sort of person who never meets a stranger and you'll find yourself gravitating towards her in any sort of setting simply because of that aura she exudes. Of course, it wouldn't be a Weston Parker book without a bit of angst thrown in and I was frustrated, but that also kept me swiping late into the night (and I'm getting too old to keep staying up late lol), but once everyone got their heads on straight I was one ecstatic fan of these two!

This book was so boring to me. There was hardly any chemistry and the chapters felt dragged out. Colt is Emma’s best friend’s brother. They grew up with one another. In high school Colt drove an ice cream truck for work, he and Emma would make out in the back of it. Their relationship didn’t progress past this and Colt ended up leaving for college. Flash forward, Colt’s sister is getting married and their is unnecessary drama between Colt and the best man. I feel like this had nothing to do with the plot and really added nothing to the story. One thing leads to another and Colt and Emma end up sleeping together. They both devise their own plans to get the other to fall in love with where each currently lives.

What a great second chance romance! It held my attention and was great learning more about Colt’s past. The drama wasn’t to much and the chemistry was off the charts.
I loved how Emma wasn’t afraid to stand up to Colt and put him in his place. I loved how invested Colt was with Teddy’s wedding, but was man enough to back down when he needed to. I loved how both Emma and Colt both tried to show the other the best parts of their lives to convince the other to stay with them.
I loved the Easter egg of who the next story could be about. I love reading Weston’s books and can’t wait to see what else he has in store for us!

Colt was jilted at the altar and months later he must go back to his hometown to attend his sister's wedding. He reconnects with his sister's BFF and somebody he had a secret fling in high school Emma. Emma is sweet and still reeling about the way Colt left her and their hometown behind to go and make his fortune in New York. When he reappears in her life, the hurt returns and she will make him work for it. Their chemistry is still there but she will not make it easy on him! No spoilers, entertaining, great story and characters. Fabulous second chance at love story. I volunteered to review this story.

Outstanding. Romance at its best. You know when you’ve found your one and only true love and that is what Colt and Emma realize when Colt returns home for his sister‘s wedding. Emma was heartbroken when Cole left after high school but he is back in town now and if she wants a chance with him, she’s got to take it. When they both realize they cannot live without each other, their love life shoots to the moon and back and they’ve got to find a way to make it work. An absolutely wonderful book, loaded with romance, fun, family, memories and excitement to last a lifetime. A really, really great book.

Colt was back in his hometown after leaving it years ago for the big city. His little sister is getting married and he has to be there. But he’d been left at the alter six months before and being involved in a wedding isn’t what he wants to do. Plus his high school sweetheart Emma is there and his sisters best friend and maid of honor! He gets there and starts thinking that he has ideas that will work better but he and the grooms friend Reese has ideas too! They go back and forth and Emma has to try and keep the peace. Will being around her bring the old feelings back between them? I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Weston has done it again. This is a well written story about Colt and Emma. Emma is Colt’s sister’s best friend and also the girl he had feelings for before he left town. Emma’s heart has always belonged to Colt but when he left town, he took her heart with him. Now Colt is back for his sister’s wedding and is stunned when he sees Emma after all the years gone by. Emma isn’t going to give in so easy to Colt because she knows he will only leave town again and her heart can’t take it.
I really loved this book and it can be read as a standalone and it is so worth the time. I received an arc copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving my review.

This is the seventh book in the Wedding Bells Alpha series, a Small Town Romance. This is a standalone in the series, but I highly recommend to read this series in order. I like this series! Emma and Colt's slow burn romance is sweet, and heartwarming, filled with drama, humor, twists and turns, and romance. Emma is beautiful, kind, and supportive. Colt is grumpy, alpha, rich, and handsome. This is a great little sister's best friend, and second chance to love. The cast of side characters is impressive. I loved to see again the characters from the previous books in the series. I highly recommend this series.

This is a terrific story with a nice length - just right about Colt and Emma. Another fantastic book from Weston Parker. This is Colt and Emmas story. He has returned home to walk his sister down the isle, after being left at the alter months earlier. But he forgets about his 1st love who lives next door and is Teddy's best friend, who has no idea about the secret relationship Colt and Emma had. Hmmm what can possibly happen... be prepared for a rollercoaster ride reading this story, which I highly recommend

This is a well written second chance romance with strong characters in Colt and Emma. Being left at the alter, Colt's not sure love is for him ... until he returns to his old hometown for his sister's wedding and sees Emma, his siter's best friend and his first love. The author does a great job developing their relationship , bringing drama and a sweet romance. It's well written with perfectly painted scenes and is a great small town romance.

This is Colt and Emma's story. It is #8 in the series but can be read as a standalone, is an easy read and HEA but boy does it take you on a journey to get there. Emma and Colt had a fling in high school but kept it to themselves. Then he left town and never looked back. He wouldn't be coming back now except his baby sister is getting married and they are the only family they have.
Emma and his sister are BFF's and always have been. Emma is the next door neighbor and still is to his sister. Emma bought the nursery school she's always taught at.
She is very tangled up in the small town living and he is a world traveler never really living in one place for long. Should they hook up again when there is no future for them in sight?
It was so much fun reading this book and being in the middle of their dilemmas. I loved this book as I did the series.

Colt and Emma’s story is a sister’s best friend second chance romance one that has these two having a secret relationship while in school then Colt leaving to make it big in New York. He got left at the alter 6mo before going home for his sister’s wedding to find Emma still there as his sister’s best friend. Their chemistry is still there but they fight it since they want different things, She owns her own preschool business and he does construction overseas. The ending along with his sister’s interference has these two getting their hea. I volunteered to read this for my honest opinion

This is Book 7 in A Wedding Bells Alpha Novel Series by this author, and can be read as a standalone. It is a second chance at love romance between Colt and his sister's best friend Emma. These flawed but likeable characters, the strong connection, the combustible chemistry, and the unique plot make for an interesting read. Once they reconnect, it is a bumpy ride with some steam, drama, humor, twists and turns, and engaging secondary characters to keep the reader interested. An emotional read.
