Christmas comes but once a year - far less often than these omegas.
Treat yourself this Christmas to a collection of never before released omegaverse stories that’s sure to land you on the naughty list. But don’t worry, it’s the best list to be on!
This is a limited edition anthology, so make sure to snag it before it’s gone forever! Hot, Dark, Decadent, Sweet — There’s an omegaverse story in here for everyone.
~Participating Authors~ Merri Bright, V.T. Bonds, Kitt Lynn, Jacey Davis, Vivian Murdoch, C.J. Vincent, Carmilla Quinn, Mira Kane, Hannah Haze, Juniper Kerry, Sabrina Day, Sierra Cassidy, Lilith Ramsey, A.W. Turner, and Z. Knight
Vivian is a sassy romance writer that likes to brat just as much as she writes. As a fly-by-the-seat-of-her-pants author, she's usually working furiously into the night when her creative juices hit her the hardest. Her books like to take you to the dark side and force you to dip your toes in, but don't drown you. She loves writing alphaholes, anti-heroes, and heroes you just love to hate. She likes to try out everything she's putting her heroines through, so the phrase “for science” is used in her house a lot! When she's not writing, you can probably find her playing Animal Crossing or tormenting her cats and Husdom.
I originally picked up this book due to the omegaverse theme and a couple of authors I liked (Merri Bright especially) that had written stories for this anthology. While there were a couple of unsatisfying stories for me, I did enjoy reading quite a few of them, and as expected, loved Merri Bright's contribution.
I would recommend the anthology to anyone who enjoys a wide variety of omegaverse stories with some holiday cheer. There were a handful of sneak peek previews that I don't really like in anthologies, but the majority of stories stood well on their own. --- The Baby Clause by A.W. Turner 83 pages Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ / DNF Tags: m-m-romance, alpha-omega, shifters
This was an enemies-to-lovers MM shifter omegaverse story featuring a "demure" alpha fox shifter Jerry and the alpha wolf shifter Sheriff Mason. There was so much stream of consciousness blabber from Jerry, and the concept of an alpha taking suppressants to pretend to be a beta was interesting, but not what I was looking for in an omegaverse story. DNF at Chapter 2 of 7 when Mason's POV was just introduced. --- In Stockings by Hannah Haze 92 pages Rating: ★★★★☆ Tags: single-dad, reverse-harem, alpha-omega, firefighters
This story followed the omega Astrid who volunteered as Xmas elf in hospital and reunited with her 3 high school crushes with their young daughter. It was a super cute fast-burn romance that was a delight to read. --- The Very Merry Omega by Jacey Davis 88 pages Rating: ★★★★☆ Tags: m-m-romance, alpha-omega
This story was a MM office coworker romance about two men who met at a work Christmas holiday party that neither really wanted to attend. In this world, omega and alpha genes were just rediscovered, and while mpreg was mentioned in passing, it didn't happen to the main characters on screen.
It was an interesting setting with a sweet and hot fast-burn romance. --- Snowmega by Juniper Kerry 83 pages Rating: ★★★★☆ Tags: alpha-omega, m-m-romance, reverse-harem
This was a fun holiday story set in the author's Bering Sea universe and followed the omega Captain FMC Willow as she went out into the Alaskan ocean to catch snow crab with the only unemployed alpha sailors available as crew while trying to hide her designation.
It was an entertaining fast burn, but I was just a little dissatisfied I don't recall seeing any explicit consent before bonding during her first heat with the men. I was still happy they got their cute HEA though. I'd be interested in checking out more from this author. --- A Winter Gift by Kitt Lynn 80 pages Rating: ★★★☆☆ Tags: alpha-omega
This story followed the 25-year-old virgin omega FMC Mina after she was stuck in main village lodge with her crush, alpha guard Ivor, during a harsh winter storm. I believe I read another one of the author's stories in Bred: A Charity Anthology, and the writing again talked about inner wolves but there was no indication they truly shifted (which also would have made sense if the main couple were cold and trying to heat up...).
Mina and Ivor were already mutually attracted to each other before the story started and ended up mates when her heat arrived while they were trapped. There was minor drama about getting proper mating permission from Mina's mom and brother, but it was generally a pretty quick low-angst HEA. --- Omega of the Opera by Lilith Ramsey 33 pages Rating: ★★★☆☆ Tags: retelling, alpha-omega, f-f-romance
This story was a sneak peek of a new Phantom of the Opera retelling in the author's Stageverse Sapphics world. It featured the scarred omega Giselle as the phantom as she hid in the opera house demanding a salary and suppressants from the owners to hide her status and heat and the female alpha Fiona as the upcoming lead singer. The story ended right when Fiona figured out the physical existence of the opera ghost and tried to chase her down behind the mirror.
It was a unique spin on the original story, and I might consider checking out the full release, but sneak peeks for future releases are a little annoying in anthologies. --- The Billionaire's Christmas Betasitter by Merri Bright 102 pages Rating: ★★★★★ Tags: alpha-omega
24-year-old omega FMC Candace/Candy showed up for what she thought was a personal assistant job interview for 39-year-old billionaire alpha Nicholas but ended up as a babysitter for his baby nephew Benjamin for 2 weeks during a massive winter storm she couldn't leave in.
The angst was delicious, and even though fast-burn fated mate stories usually don't work for me, I loved this. I would also love to read spin-off stories of the other omega women mentioned! --- Cosmic Bonds: Holly by Mira Kane 95 pages Rating: ★★★☆☆ Tags: alpha-omega, menage, m-m-romance, single-father
This story was a preview for a future release that followed the beta FMC Holly who worked for a dating agency, Cosmic Bonds, with her adoptive sisters. Her profile was run through their matching system in an accident, and she ended up getting together with an MM omega couple to try out a pack relationship with. Meanwhile, she had an ongoing crush with single father alpha mechanic Cole.
The story ended with only a menage relationship with the omegas after some harsh emotional whiplash over relationship drama (without enough grovelling IMO) and some hints at multiple possible future alpha relationships.
I didn't have a great experience with the author's Omega Sanctuary series, so I was a little hesitant to read this short story. While the plot was tidier since the world was simpler with no fantastical elements, the pacing still quite problematic. I don't think I would check out the full book when it's released. --- Heating Up Holly by Sabrina Day 78 pages Rating: ★★★★☆ Tags: alpha-omega, mafia, animal-sidekicks, m-m-romance, menage
This short story was set in the author's Knotted Roots universe and followed the omega FMC Holly as she attempted to work as a pirate taxi service while under disguise for rich folks to make enough to pay back a loan shark. She ended up finding an alpha MM couple in the middle of some relationship bumps to take on as clients and eventually obtained her HEA with them.
Although I thought the beginning started off annoying with a TSTL heroine, the possessiveness and the making up of the characters was hot and delicious. I would be interested reading more in the world. --- Sold for the Holidays by K.B. Mitchell 91 pages Rating: ★★★☆☆ Tags: sex-workers, slaves, alpha-omega, mercenaries, dystopia
This story followed the "high-born" omega FMC Willow as she was about to have her first heat auctioned off by her mistress and tried to escape with the help of mysterious Mardyth but was betrayed and caught again instead. In this dystopian world, alpha knots were a legend only between mates, and omegas were generally owned by more powerful alphas and sold to the highest bidder for their use.
It was a pretty dark story, but overall, I found the main couple to be incredibly TSTL, and their success at escape was really more luck than ability or common sense. Nothing was really explained at whether this dystopian society was just in a few specific cities or the case throughout the world. I wouldn't be interested in reading more from this author based on this sample. --- A Perfect Pack Christmas by Sierra Cassidy 91 pages Rating: ★★☆☆☆ Tags: alpha-omega, reverse-harem, genderqueer, f-f-romance
This novella was part of the author's Nicky and the Night Owls universe. It took place after Nicky and the Night Owls: Part One and followed the pack as they went on a vacation at a ski resort and then a cabin for the holidays.
I skimmed it most of it - it was boring to me since I hadn't read the series (and didn't plan to). The story was made of setups of one orgy after another between a huge multi-gender pack I didn't know anything about other than their names. --- The Duke's Christmas Rejection by Vivian Murdoch 70 pages Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ / DNF Tags: alpha-omega
This story was a prequel for the author's Seven Omegas for Seven Alphas universe. It was a historical omegaverse romance that followed the virgin omega FMC Cynthia as she welcomed home Charles, the new Duke of Norhaven, her best friends' elder brother and unrequited crush.
I am not super into the historical genre generally, and the idea of capital punishment by brothers to their younger mischievous siblings for an accident was quite off putting to me. When combined with Charles's more violent kinks in his POV chapter and Charles and his friends making a bet who could stay a bachelor the longest, the story turned out not to my taste, and I quit at chapter 5 of 9. --- Flames and Peppermint by V.T. Bonds 106 pages Rating: ★★★☆☆ Tags: alpha-omega, bikers, hunters, elves, demons, magic, menage
This was book 1 in the author's The Knottiverse: Holiday Alphas universe and followed the omega FMC Rey after she escaped her slavery under Saint Nick in the other realm The Knottiverse and then ran into two other supernatural alphas in the human realm, an elf that was trying to return her as a rogue omega and a demon that was trying to hunt a biker gang also hired to catch her for Saint Nick.
It was an interesting human-adjacent holiday realm, but the overall world-building was much too complicated (demons, gnomes, elves, angels (?)) to figure out what was going on in one short story. All the character development was shallow with unclear details, and it was insta-lust galore for the main characters' menage relationship, which I found pretty unsatisfying. --- The Elf's Christmas Surprise by Zelda Knight 37 pages Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ / DNF Tags: alpha-omega, m-m-romance, magic
While the copyright said this story was published 2022, I was fairly sure that I had read this story in another anthology before, and when my notes about the setup for the omega MC Jordan in the short story A Naughty Elf on My Couch in Fated and Claimed: A Limited Edition Collection of M/M Alpha-Beta-Omega Romance matched up, it confirmed my belief this story was identical (or barely changed under a new story name). This was quite the unsatisfying discovery for me, and it wasn't a good contribution.
Download and read this anthology for Merri Bright’s contribution alone! She fits so much in such a tiny package. I absolutely loved reading her first MF contribution to the omegaverse world.
The Billionaire’s Christmas Betasitter is a short story about mistaken identity, an omega in the wrong place at the right time, forced proximity, and soul mates. Candy is an omega who has had all choice stripped from her. Either she gets this job with Mr. Nicholas Paxson, or she returns home and suffers a marriage with an alpha she doesn’t want. Pax knows from the first scent that she is not the beta she is pretending to be but an omega, his omega, and forbidden – a big fifteen-year age gap of forbidden.
Merri is a diabolical genius. Sure, this is a short story, but it is not short on drama or steam. She starts by throwing you up to the highest of highs as the characters realize they have found their one true mate. And then she turns around and pulls deep from your core - that desperate twisted feeling low in your gut as you suffer the feeling of rejection along with them. Back and forth, she tugs your strings. Throw in some delicious mini-heats with all the goodness of omegaverse stories - plenty of dirty talk, knotting, slick, and even a nest, and you have a perfect little omegaverse tale.
It hurt so good, that coupling of pain and pleasure and the buildup made the HEA even sweeter. I highly recommend this story to all omegaverse lovers.
Sleigh bells and mistletoe, eggnog and omegas, what more could you want for Christmas? This is the perfect stocking stuffer for the omegaverse fan, who has little time between basting the turkey and wrapping all the presents. Some of the authors in this anthology are new to me, but will now be a welcome addition to my stable of favourite authors. The stories range from hilarious (looking at you Merri Bright ) to a welcome return to a known universe (happily Juniper Kerry and Sierra Cassidy take a turn here). I also loved the contributions from Hannah Haze and Mira Kent. If you are looking for a Yuletide read that promises more than one happy ending, this is definitely a read for you. Highly recommended.
This anthology has got an excellent selection of sweet, cute, and adorable with some good spice stories, right up to the insanely hot, don't forget to stock up on extra batteries kind of hot stories. 😅
It's got a mix of everything an Omegaverse fan needs. Can't think of anything more perfect to read in the run up to Christmas. 😍
Ps: Don't forget the batteries. 😉
This anthology is so thick that I have yet to fully finish it. I will be adding sections to this review over the next few days.

I received an arc of the book and am leaving an honest review voluntarily.
Absolutely delightful! I received an ARC copy of this through Hannah Haze but I'm writing this review voluntarily.
To start off, In Stockings by Hannah Haze was just perfection. It was everything I want in a short story, it was sweet, spicy, thoroughly entertaining, and a complete story.
I also loved to see more of Nicky and the Nightowls in A Perfect Pack Christmas. My other favourites were Snowmega by Juniper Kerry, and The Billionaire's Christmas Betasitter by Merri Bright 🥵 🌶 .
I loved Cosmic Bonds: Holly by Mira Kane, but be forewarned, it's not a complete story. I felt the same about The Duke's Christmas Rejection by Vivian Murdoch.
Overall, it was just a lovely holiday read! I'd highly recommend grabbing your favourite hot beverage, curling up, and reading this gem.
Reviewed...In Stockings by Hannah Haze Loved it!! Astrid, is working as an elf in the hospital when she meets Lyra and her daddies. They just happen to be her high-school crushes. Such a sweet story with a little humor, angst and delicious steam!!! It had a perfect Christmas ending!
Reviewed...Billionaire Christmas Betasitter by Merri Bright Short and spicy! There was angst, humor, and delicious steam. Candy and Pax were perfect together. Pax and his dirty talk...I may have melted a little. 🥵 This was a definite 5 star read!!! I loved it!!!
I did not read every one of these books but I did read a few.
Out of the 5 I read. Overall : 2.5⭐️ 2.5🌶️ Worth the time?? Nope. Skip it. These are not good. Just read a Hannah Haze book and go about your day !! Individual book reviews::
In stockings: by-Hannah Haze 3.5⭐️ 2.5🌶️ I would call this a sweet OmegaVerse -RH with no conflict. Just a cute easy read. Fun. Nothing too hard or triggering. Just a why choose cheesy sweet book.
A winter gift: by- kitt Lynn 2.5⭐️ 2🌶️ What was that ending ???? 😂🤣 ookkaaayyyyyy. It just straight up ENDS. Weird. This did not make me want to read anything else from this author tho. 🤷🏻♀️
The billionaires Christmas betasitter: by- merri bright 2.5⭐️ 2🌶️ Age gap- MF - let’s see how this one goes. Wow. He’s an ASS the WHOLE BOOK. But like. The “I don’t deserve you” ass. Like. WHY NOT ?! And she just forgives him straight away. Twice. 🙄 annoying.
Sold for the holiday: by- KB Mitchell 1⭐️ 2🌶️ He BETRAYED YOU. HARD. And then you’re just like. 🙄 🤷🏻♀️ it is what it is. No need for a sorry or ANYTHING. Just meet me. 👍🏼 🙄 Ookkkaaaay. So it’s kind of Dub Con. Since it’s wanted but NOT. I dont know. Never mind. He killed for her and I’m sick enough to call that a good enough grovel 😂🤣 Aannndddd then. It ENDS.
Flames and peppermint: by- VT Bonds 1⭐️ 1.5🌶️ Some light molestation. Very dub con. Very - omegas only used for sex. I guess this is a MFM ?? But we don’t like ANYONE. 👍🏼 cool cool cool Man. This girl is legit only in this plot to be kidnapped and the men only want her because- i dont know. Her hair is white. Or silver. Or something. This one is bad.- B.A.D.- Bad. One. SMALL. Redeeming moment is when she shows her powers. We get ONE MOMENT. Like. You should have been USING THOSE. 🙄
I haven’t read the whole anthology yet, just the ARC copy of Merri Bright’s story, The Billionaire’s Christmas Betasitter. 1-let’s talk about the cover and how perfect it is and how I do wish I had her eyebrows. Now to the important parts! I am completely blown away that such a short story could leave such a lasting impression. It was spicy (did I sit in melted snow? Or is this book that good?) it was funny, FMC was sweet and sassy in the perfect balance. MMC was a slightly grumpy alpha hole who is also kind and caring and frankly, what we all dream about. It has the best tropes, fates mates/forced proximity/enemies(kinda) to lovers etc. The characters are the kind you quickly relate to and can really feel what they are experiencing. Love this story and will be aggressively recommending it to friends.
In Stockings by Hannah Haze I NEED MORE! It was a very cute novella about an omega finding her pack with a little help from Santa. Sounds silly but it was really cute and I was smiling throughout. I really enjoyed the dual POV and wished her other works I read were written that way. Definitely check it out. You will enjoy it.
The Billionaire's Christmas Betasitter I need more books from the other siblings. This one was a very sweet and cute omegaverse holiday novella. I enjoyed learning another part of this universe of when you find your true mate you can go into a shorter, stronger heat. I'm really glad my boo purchased this anthology.
Knotty or Nice: A Limited Edition Christmas Omegaverse Anthology features a bunch of fabulous authors. I have the pleasure of reviewing Billionaire's Christmas Betasitter by Merri Bright. In this short, we meet Candace, aka Candy who thinks she is going to apply for a PA job for Nicholas Paxson, aka Pax. Turns out he was looking for a betasitter for his nephew. As it turns out, they are true mates to each other. Fun read. Super spicy and sweet. Loved it.
I also had the pleasure of reading In Stockings by Hannah Haze. We meet Astrid, a nursing student and Omega. She's working as an elf and runs into old classmates Craig, Samson, and Archie who are Alphas. They have a beautiful daughter, Lyra. This is a cute, sweet Omegaverse story. Three hot firefighters - need I say more? Loved the epilogue. I always love it when an author gives us a peek in the future. Looking forward to reading more in this anthology.
Absolutely loved this! I just couldn’t get enough of Rey and her two Alpha’s. I’m not sure who I loved more Eskil or Amaru…they were both delightfully possessive and delicious. Such a great story!!
This complete anthology is filled with many terrific treats and I enjoyed reading it thoroughly.
This was a really good collection of stories. I did skip one or two that weren’t my thing as far as tropes but overall I really enjoyed just about all the ones I did read. My favorite was definitely Sabrina Day. But the lore on the last two stories where the most interesting. Happy reading!

The story can be read as a standalone as there are no plot relevant events, but your experience will definitely be richer if you have already read Nicky and the Night Owls: Part One.
The polycule in the story contains alphas, betas, and omegas, and it is multi-gender, containing men, women, and nonbinary individuals with spicy scenes composed of all combinations of the aforementioned.
In my omegaverse the alphas don’t knot outside of an omega’s heat, and there is no heat present in the story since it takes place in the timeline between the omega’s regular cycle, but you’ll still get the purring, scents, biting, growling, and bonds in this novella. —---------------- 📚The Duke’s Christmas Rejection (A Seven Omegas for Seven Alphas Prequel) by Vivian Murdoch (pg 920-989) -This is a prequel with an introduction for a different MMC who will be appearing in the first book of the series at the end. -MF -Dual, 1st person POV -Use of tawse on OW while FMC spies —---------------- 📚Flames and Peppermint (The Knottiverse: Holiday Alphas Book 1) by V.T. Blurb: Independent-minded omega Jordan Bell has heard the stories of Santas little helpers prowling the streets on Christmas Eve looking for mates. He’s determined to avoid all the hubbub and hullabaloo, curl up with a warm cup of hot choco, and wait out the sudden onslaught of his first heat cycle while nursing a broken heart. But when Jordan finds a naughty alpha elf perched on his couch named Nicolas, Jordan quickly finds out he’s no match for a fateful date with destiny.
Some of these novellas were good, others were absolutely awful. Here is a review of the individual stories.
🎄 The Baby Claus by AW Turner - MM romance. I didn’t read it.
🎄 In Stockings by Hanna Haze. Super sweet FMMM omegaverse. FMC omega is working as Santa’s helper Elf at the hospital. There she runs into three alphas she’s had a crush on since high school. They’ve brought their daughter in to see Santa. With a little help from Santa, Lyra (the little girl) conspires to give her daddies a mate for Christmas.
🎄 The Very Merry Omega: MM romance. MPreg. I didn’t read it.
🎄 Snowmega by Juniper Kelly. MMFMM. Willow is an omega who desperately wants to be a sea captain and make a living doing crab fishing. Except what fishermen want a female, let alone an omega? So she tries to hide her designation from the pack who works as the crew. Until the day comes when Willow starts her heat…I’ve gotta say, this one was weird. Crab fishing? There also wasn’t anything Christmassy about the novella. The whole story was a bit awkward, but I enjoyed it. Pregnancy. MM.
🎄 A Winter Gift by Kitt Lynn. Virgin FMC. This is the weirdest thing I’ve ever read. This is basically an ABO, MF, Amish, Wolf shifter romance. This little village came off like Amish culture, or maybe one of those strange segregated religious communities that feel cultish? Idk. I didn’t like it.
🎄 Omega of the Opera by Lilith Ramsey. Phantom of the Opera retelling. Female Alpha and Female Omega. I didn’t read it.
🎄 The Billionaire’s Christmas Betasitter by Merri Bright. 15 year age gap. This story was entertaining but awful. I hated it. The MMC was utterly awful to his true mate. Just terrible. He would treat her nice one second and revile her the next. He came into her nest to sex her up then he rejects her. After completely destroying her soul and sending her away, he shows up and says he loves her. HEA. Asshole. There needed to be a lot more groveling for me to get over the rejection and mistreatment.
🎄 Cosmic Bonds: Holly by Mira Kane. I liked this story but it wasn’t complete and I’m pretty upset about it. This book is about a beta named Holly. She feels like she’s worthless because she’s a beta and she doesn’t deserve to be in a pack or to be loved. She meets two male omegas who end up loving her, but Holly’s insecurities end up almost ruining everything. At the “end” of the story the two omegas and Holly decide to form a pack. However it’s unfinished because they have two potential alphas on the line and we never get to see what happens with that.
🎄 Heating Up Holly by Sabrina Day. Holly is an omega in a bad situation with a bad history. She’s desperate, so she decides to become an illegal cab driver in order to make some quick money. She picks up two alphas who are having relationship problems and drives them hours away. Then a snowstorm hits and she’s discovered as an omega. This story was super cute. I wish there was more of it. MMF
🎄 Sold for the Holidays by KB Mitchell. Forced breeding, forced heat, dubcon, kidnapping, sex trafficking. I didn’t read this one.
🎄 A Perfect Pack for Christmas by Sierra Cassidy. I didn’t read this one. It’s an epilogue to an already completed story.
🎄 The Duke’s Christmas Rejection by Vivian Murdoch. Prequel. TW: humiliation and degradation. Historical ABO romance. This story is garbage. It’s basically an alpha being horrible to an omega throughout the entire story. At the end, after having sex with another female while FMC watches, MMC rejects her again. No sex or sexual situations between FMC and MMC, just humiliation and degradation. This is the worst Christmas story I’ve ever heard of.
🎄 Flames and Peppermint by VT Bonds. This story was fucked up. Who comes up with this shit?! This little omega escaped the North Pole where Saint Nick subjugates and breaks omegas. He uses them as whores and lets other alphas use their bodies. An Alpha elf is sent to find her and return her to Saint Nick. He is awful and disgusting and doesn’t think she’s worth anything more than her body. An Alpha demon protects her. He’s nice-ish, at least he respects her body and choice…except he would let her die in order to get his revenge on the Gnome MC. She ends up with both of these tossers. This book needed a TW, there’s SA involved. Screw this book.
🎄 The Elf’s Christmas Surprise by Zelda Knight. MM A/O romance. I didn’t read this story. Male omega + Alpha male Elf.
I’ve only read one story in this anthology so far, but it’s fantastic!
This is my review for Merri Bright’s The Billionaire’s Christmas BetaSitter:
When I first heard that Merri was writing a lonely sausage story, I was a bit concerned. After all, she writes steamy multi 🍆🍆🍆 stories so perfectly, I just couldn’t imagine how just one 🍆 would hold up. Well. I stand corrected. I gave this story a try because, honestly, I’ll read an instruction manual if Merri writes it, and it was SO WORTH IT.
This is a holiday novella in an upcoming anthology, and its beautifully short and sweet (and spicy). There is an age gap, but Candy, the younger party, is in her mid-twenties. Pax is in his late thirties. The gap is definitely in an acceptable range, and doesn’t set off any creeper vibes. There is a bit of a power imbalance because Candy technically works for him, temporarily, but that is also handled very well. Pax is obviously a hard-working, ambitious man, but you see plenty of glimpses of his caring and loving side when it comes to his family. His gruff exterior has a definite Daddy-dom feel, but there’s something of a cinnamon roll there too. It’s a perfect 🥵 blend!
Candy is fantastic! Like a few of Merri’s FMC, she occasionally has a lack of a filter from her brain to her mouth and doesn’t always realize that she’s speaking out loud. It’s hilarious and endearing. Candy is also hard-working and ambitious, and while she’s had some privilege in her life, her choices all get taken away when she reveals as an omega. All she wants is a choice, and her thoughts and emotions surrounding those circumstances are highly relatable.
I loved this story so hard! I can’t wait to read more about this world, even if there’s only one sausage in each story.
Overall, I enjoyed this collection of stories. I'm going to review my faves:
The Very Merry Omega by Jacey Davis This is a MM OV romance. Zach and Alexander had great chemistry, and I love how Alex helped Zach get through his feelings of inadequacy with patience, support, and love. And he gives forehead kisses. *SWOON* Their story will make you smile at the sweetness.
The Billionaire's Christmas Betasitter by Merri Bright This is a MF OV Romance. The tension in this one is off the charts. Candy desperately wants to be in control of her destiny, but her designation as an Omega puts a damper on her plans. Pax is an older bachelor who has decided to stay that way and doesn't plan on settling down. When he is brought face-to-face with the Omega who is meant for him, their ensuing will they or won't they drama is delicious.
Cosmic Bonds by Mira Kane This is a MMF OV Romance. Holly is a sweet beta who thinks no one will want her because she's not an Alpha or an Omega. She meets two already paired Omegas on a dating site, and they make it their mission to appreciate all she has to offer. But when Holly's mom tries to spoil things, their relationship goes off the rails, and they have to find a way to be together. This story ends with a HFN because there is the possibility of adding a side character, an Alpha, to their mix in a future book. Can't wait for that!
Flames and Peppermint by V.T. Bonds This is a MFM OV Romance. My favorite in the whole collection! The originality in this storyline kept me sucked in throughout. It's a whole new type of environment, and I am here for it. Rey needs help but instead runs right smack dab into trouble, in the form of a head hunter and an elf who works for the evil Saint Nick. I loved watching Eskil's turnaround, but Amaru was it for me from the start. It made it even better that they finally worked together to keep Rey safe and protected. Such an intriguing start to a new line of stories!
I'm still making my way through this anthology, but I love that there is something for everyone. There are MM, MF, MMF, FF and every other type of relationship you could want. I also love that none of the stories are set in the same time period. It gives the anthology a freshness I really love. The only thing linking the stories is that they are all Omegaverse and they all take place around Christmas. Some of the authors are ones I'm very familiar with - Vivian Murdoch, V.T. Bonds, Merri Bright, Hannah Hazy, and others I'm excited to explore more. None of the stories dissapointed.
I was lucky enough to get my hands on early copies of a few of the stories and I'm going to review them individually.
Flames and Peppermint by V.T. Bonds is a MFM story that is both steamy and adventurous. Rey is an Omega on the run and she is lucky, or unlucky, enough to run into two Alphas who want to protect her. It was easy for me to like Rey with all her determination and her Alpha's eventually won my heart as well. One of the things I loved the most about this story is the differences between Eskil and Amaru and the way they compliment each other in the end.
The Duke's Christmas Rejection by Vivian Murdoch is a historical romance, the first by this author, and pure joy from beginning to end. It's not a full story, more of an introduction, and I'm excited to read the rest of the story in the future. Cynthia may not be part of the right social class to be worthy of James, but there are forces at work that neither of them are going to be able to deny.
sweet Omegaverse goodness right on time for the holidays
Wow. I’m about halfway through this anthology and it’s already blown my socks off. I had to stop reading to get back to my life for a few weeks. But I plan to dive back in for Christmas. There’s alphas and omegas (FF, MM, MF, MFM) and alphas and alphas and more of all stripes and the stories range from the North Pole down to the South Pole and back up to the human world in between with all timelines converging around Christmas. I’m not familiar with most of these authors so I’ll focus on the author I heard about this anthology from and who never ceases to amaze me: V.T. Bonds. “Flames and Peppermint” is her story and it’s dark and sweet. Most of the stories didn’t appear have an external conflict or antagonist, but this one did. Several, actually. Our sweet heroine is on the run from the North Pole after escaping the clutches of the far from jolly Saint Nicholas. She’s far away from home but still in danger when she encounters an unlikely ally. So much is packed into these chapters. You see an omega come into her power and alphas come to see the error of their ways. There’s pain, struggle, survival, vindication, and victory. Excellent writing, world building, plot, characters, and character development. I’m thinking that the Knottyverse just keeps getting more and more interesting. There’s so much packed into this anthology for such an awesome price. Christmas came early, so dive in!
3 stars as I only read 3 stories and can't rate the remaining anthology. Many stories didn't have a blurb and the first 1, 2 pages didn't intrigue me, so I didn't continue them. A blurb would surely change that...
Hannah Haze - In Stockings 5 stars That was probably any woman's dream come true. A pack of 3 hot firemen with a little bubbly girl and them falling in love with their perfect omega? That was so good and sweet and romantic. I loved the little girl playing the adults into meeting and falling for each other.
V.T. Bonds - Flames & Peppermint 4 stars That was unexpected and quite hot and spicy. Interesting world.
Kitt Lynn - Winter's Gift 3 stars This is Minas and Ivars story. I've read the BRED anthology where their friends Rowan&Lily got their stories (though both will be released separately in March 23). I do wonder in which kind of era this is supposed to be set. It doesn't seem industrial, but also not medieval, and some aspects seem so modern. Then I wonder how unaccomished the omega girls are. There doesn't seem to be a school and the girls are supervised at home. Later is the daughter of bakers, but cannot bake or cook. Mina is part of a sewing circle and supposedly 21. Summer is 19 and said to be not very good yet with her embroidery and she would need more time. Seriously, girls younger than 10 were expected to excel in this kind of thing in previous centuries. And even in the 20th century girls were taught to lead a household. Very strange...
This review is for The Billionaire’s Christmas BetaSitter by Merri Bright.
Candy is an Omega who ‘bloomed’ a bit later in life than was typical. It threw all her carefully laid plans out the window. An omega really has choices. It’s breeding and babies or bust.
Pax is an experienced Alpha who is a touch grumpy and weary from raising his siblings. He’s shouldered the responsibility for his family and his pack since his youth. He’s not old but he feels his years.
When Candy is mistakenly hired to watch over Pax’s nephew, their chemistry is electric. These two are more than just attracted, they are drawn to each other.
With this being a Merri Bright novella, you really get an amazing value here. This little story is worth the price of the whole anthology. She manages to pack in humor, Steam, drama, romance, tension, and an oh so satisfying conclusion, all in a short story. The characters are witty, relatable, and a holiday joy to read. Pax is the perfect, modern day, softer version of Scrooge. (Just the heart melting parts..sigh) He’s a dreamy Alphahole Gingerbread man snack. Please don’t tell him I said that..I’m hoping Santa actually lets me on the Nice list this year and I get an Alpha stocking stuffer. ;)
This limited edition Christmas omegaverse anthology is truly one of a kind. This review is for Flames and Peppermint by V.T. Bonds and excuse me while I claim these alphas. That's right ladies, step aside cause I am staking my claim here.
This little omega with the silver hair never stood a chance. Eskil the alpha elf has his eyes set on Rey the moment he caught a whiff of her scent. She is completely irresistible and as much as he may want to keep her, he had a job to do. He must bring her to Saint Nick and trust me it's not the Santa's workshop holiday experience you may be thinking.
Rey is a beautiful, sweet omega who is in some serious trouble. Not only does Eskil the alpha elf cross paths with the allusive omega but also Amaru, the demon. That's right ladies. This demon is EVERYTHING!!! "𝐈'𝐦 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐩𝐡𝐚 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭, 𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐧𝐞."
These two alphas are pitted against one another with Rey at the center of it all. But when a common enemy kidnaps her, a deal is stuck. I simply cannot get enough of these two. I mean wow, mortal enemies and possessive alphas are both tempted by an omega they have no business keeping yet here there are. Incapable of staying away. Rey is incapable of losing either of them. She needs them both. So do I, and so do you. Trust me.
I haven’t read the whole anthology but I was lucky to get an ARC from Merri Bright, and this is my review of The Billionaire's Christmas Betasitter. This is one of the only “single sausage” books that I have read from her and I cannot tell you how amazing it was, there was no need of more sausages in this plate, Nick was more than enough and I totally believe if Merri would have given us more than one H in this book there would have been people going to the ER for spontaneous combustion, Candy our protagonist is not only endearing, fun and a total delight, but she is also determined to be seen as more than her designation and its not afraid to do whatever is needed to get to where she needs in life….although she never suspected the twist that fate was going to throw her way, and Nick our amazing, sexy, caring, total daddy is not only hot he has such a dirty mouth, I could probably have my husband read the novella to get some pointers “wink, wink”, Nick is completely happy being a single Alpha and wants nothing to do with romance and such, until her gets his Christmas miracle, this novella is full of steam, Christmas feelings and family bonds, as the introduction to this new “series” which I hope it is a series , it leaves you with the need to get more and more, all the character presented are so appealing and cannot wait to know more about them and read their stories, also a need more scenes with Big Ben and Little Ben, and if this is the level of steam and spice we are getting on the beginning I can totally recommend you to buy batteries, lots and lots of them. Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ Romance: ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Angst: 💔💔💔💔 (that scene broke my heart Merri!) Grovel: ❤️🩹❤️🩹❤️🩹❤️🩹❤️🩹 (way to save the day Nick) Booger:😪 (I cannot stop looking at my nose just to make sure I dont have one)
I received an ARC copy of The Billionaire's Christmas Betasitter ARC by Merri Bright and am leaving a review solely for that story!
It was super cute, super sexy and super short. Definitely a nice palette cleanser if you are in a book slump or need a change of pace after reading the same genre over and over. Was a very quick turnaround. But I loved the characters and I hope Rain gets her own story - definitely could feel one brewing for her! Novellas hurt my soul cause they are so good but I always want more of the story. I’m almost mad when they are over!
Candy is a "late bloomer" omega that feels like her choices have been taken away from her. She is accidentally hired to babysit Pax’s nephew but things don’t go quite as planned. Pax is an older alpha (I didn't really notice the age gap but Pax definitely had issues with it). As he tries to resist Candy, it just brings more and more tension between them.
I loved Candy and Pax - this was a fun read. It had me laughing all over the place!
This anthology is filled with so many different fun omegaverse!
I sped through this anthology real fast. I've read most of the stories. There are a couple that I still need to read. But each story that I have read, I've thoroughly enjoyed. They all had their own unique story to tell for Christmas. I was introduced to some new authors that I wasn't overly familiar with and I enjoyed. This was everything omegaverse fans need and more. And I enjoyed it curled up under a blanket with some hot chocolate.
I loved the variety of Christmas stories. This anthology is one I will definitely be reading again before Christmas. I love the Christmas feels it gave me. Made me ready for all the Christmas stories I can find. I can't wait to finish reading the rest of them. Spice and everything Nice and hot between lol.
Overall, Such a cute anthology. Can't wait to finish the rest of them. They all have been super cute to read and it makes it hard to want to put the book down.
Just in time to ring in the Christmas season, 14 talented authors bring all knotty goodness with this anthology.
I loved every single tale and how this book has a little of everything - you in the mood for m/m, f/f, poly, why choose, m/f? How about an omega on the run from an Saint Nick alpha, a grumpy billionaire alpha who gets the surprise of his life in the form of a babysitter, or a sweet historical wolf shifter story? This is the anthology to grab. I am not even a fan of historical and I enjoyed the couple that was included in this along with all the others.
I swooned, laughed, gasped and more and can say I haven’t thoroughly enjoyed a Christmas themed story in awhile like I have with this one. It included some new to me authors (that I will be checking out more of their works) and some old favorites that I knew wouldn’t disappoint. This definitely one I can see myself revisiting during the holiday season when I need a good alpha/omega fix.
I read the short story ‘The Billionaires Christmas Betasitter’ by Merri Bright.
I love Omegaverse and I love Merri as an author. She writes very witty, relatable and fun loving female characters and this was no different.
I was hooked with the story and read it in 1 sitting. I honestly couldn’t put it down.
We meet Candy who just wants to have the choice to live her own life how she wants but as she is an Omega all her choices were taken away. Until 1 day she takes her life into her own hands and goes to a job interview. Only this job interview turns into something else entirely and Candy gets the shock of her life.
This is a short spicy amazing novella with everything you want for an Omegaverse story. I had so many emotions in just that short story. I would love to read more about this couple 🖤
I’m looking forward to reading the rest of the book too.
If you're a fan of Omegaverse and Christmas? These stories will definitely be great anthology to read! It features so many amazing authors, some that you may know and some new! I loved both stories that I was able to read in advance, and I can't wait to read the other stories!
Merri's story was super cute, we meet Candace aka Candy who is an omega that initially applied for a Personal Assistant job, but ended up being accepted as a 'Beta Sitter'. Both jobs were for Nicholas Paxson aka Pax, a billionaire who initially said yes to baby sitting his nephew for his sister and brother in law. It was a bit of a mess, but it turns out it was for the best reason, they turn out to be true mates. It was not an easy road but they eventually get their HEA!
For In Stockings, oh my gosh this was the CUTEST story ever. I loved Astrid, she's a nursing student as well as an Omega. She is working as an elf for Santa and while handing out lollipops, she meets Lyra, who's the cute daughter of her former classmates. Craig, Samson and Archie are a pack of alphas, that immediately recognize what Astrid is, an omega. What the guys don't know is that Astrid had a crush on all 3 of these guys. This story reads like a rom-com in the BEST way, and I wouldn't mind seeing these characters again.
I haven't read the other stories, but I am definitely looking forward to reading Holly by Mira Kane the Cosmic Bonds series, and A Perfect Pack Christmas with the characters of Nicky and the Nightowls.
If you've been looking to read new authors, or want to dive into the world of omegaverse? This is the perfect opportunity!
This Review is For The Duke's Christmas Rejection: A Seven Omegas for Seven Alphas Prequel
I don’t normally read historical romance but when I saw Vivian Murdoch wrote one, I thought well I'll give it a try. This prequel has me hooked. This gives us an introduction into Omega Cynthia and the Alpha she wants to wed Duke Charles Norhaven. Duke Norhaven has a strong desire to stake his claim on Cynthia, but Cynthia is only the daughter of a baron. Because of Cynthia's station it might seem improper for the Duke to claim her. Cynthia likes a challenge and will stop at nothing to get what she wants. Will his Grace Duke Norhaven give into his primal instincts or will his duty be the victor? We will just have to wait and see what will happen next. I can't wait.
Knotty os Nice Omegaverse Christmas Anthology has all the dark gifts you could ever want!
I was especially pleased with V.T. Bonds’ Flames and Peppermint; The Knottyverse: Holiday Alphas story.
“I’ll never go back. No matter how my body hurts-no matter how thin m soul feels-I’ll never return to the other realm.” And Rey believes this will all her soul, as she sttempts to keep hiding from those who would take her back to be a oart of Saint Nick’s badly treated harem.
What she doesn’t count on, and neither do they, is finding two Alphas who will protect and take care of her Omega needs.
With 13 other contributing authors, you will find your stocking over-filled sweets and lots of dark treats!
