Under Her Wing: Denton Heights Book 1
This is basically the Shasti and Madison Story.
Madison Kim finds herself on a bus headed to Denton Heights, Ohio, a suburb of Cincinnati. Her mother sent her there without notice to care for an elderly Korean woman Madison had never met. Madison is twenty-two-and-three-quarters years old, has a high school diploma, but isn’t smart enough to go to college…so they tell her. Now she spends her time caring for Mrs. Park, going to the beloved Cincinnati Zoo, and watching movies on her outdated phone. She’s not really sure why she’s there, but she’s taking it day by day. And then she meets strong nurturing Miss Shasti at a tea dance.
Shasti Balakrishnan has been looking for someone to call hers for more years than she cares to count. She wants a woman to love and care for in a nurturing Mommy Domme/little girl scenario. She’s thirty-two and already a partner in a thriving medical clinic in Denton Heights, but truth be told – she’s lonely. 3 ★ | Apprehensive to read this as the mommy / little relationship made me feel uncomfortable. But that’s because I didn’t understand it, until now.
I’ve never been aware of this type of relationship before. It was definitely interesting to delve into this way of life and understanding the dynamics and lifestyle for sure. As long as no one gets hurt - we don’t kink shame round here!

Sweet and lovable Miss Shasti and her sensitive peanut Madison! Both of course were in the Bernadette Series and one of the most popular couples and characters.
Her own book and story broke my heart quite a bit.
The injustices Madison Kim endured at the hands of family and so-called friends, are awful.
It ignited a lot of anger in me.
Madison’s development because of the nurturing love of Miss Shasti, is beautiful. Moved me to tears!
These two are a match made in heaven.
Of course, we meet many well-known friends from the Bernadette series again, especially since this is a book before Bernadette's time.
This different perspective on these characters is great and I look forward to the next book in this series!
I have to read „Under Her Wing“ several times, I can't say goodbye to Denton Hights yet.

BDSM Lifestylers for the Win!
Wow. Wonderfully written. Open and honest. Dual pov. Mommy Domme/little girl or just little relationship. These characters live the lifestyle. Their lives and world are written with compassion, sensitivity and knowledge. The author engages you from the start. I haven’t read the other series since this is the prequel series I started here but I definitely plan to complete both.

This is another great read from Danielle Grainger! All of her characters are so alive to me, which is what makes her such a good author. I'm so glad we got to know Shasti and Madison's story and absolutely loved that we got to meet Mrs. Tilda briefly, it added so many layers to the previous books and was done seamless! Please keep them coming!

Little and Miss
This is a wonderful story about 2 people finding their other half. Madison is a little that didn't know she was. She had always been picked on and bullied. Miss Shasti has been longing for a little of her own to care for. There is no way to not fall in love with Madison. She is adorable. And Shasti is the perfect girlfriend for her. This is another 10 star book for Danielle. Highly recommend. Enjoy.

Under Her Wing: Denton Heights Book 1 Danielle Grainger: This fills out the already great ‘Bernadette’ series. Miss Shasta and Madison are the stars of this MD/lg story. I fell madly in love with Madison. I want to give her hugs and smooches. Such a cutie and so well written and filled out. Miss Shasta is such a loving ‘mommy’ and so filled with a protective spirit for her little Madison. I used ½ a box of tissue and read this is less than a day. It made me cry both happy and sad tears. It made me laugh and smile. If you loved the ‘Bernadette’ series this is a must, if you haven’t read that series this is a great place to start. The book ‘Under Her Wing’ fleshes out many of the characters from ‘Bernadette’. I am hoping for more and more about the wonderful community of Denton Heights. A super read 5 stars.

Under Her Wing: Denton Heights Book 1 by Danielle Grainger Mainly our focus is Madison a twenty-two-and-three-quarter year old “little”. She meets a “little” named Billy and is invited to a gathering of Dommes and subs including littles. Madison meets Miss Shasti who is a Mommy Domme. Miss Shasti is looking for a “little” like Madison, with the hope of building an MD/lg relationship. There are some BDSM scenes including a demonstrations. There is a discussion of punishment and fun-ishment and the difference. Consensual play and Shibari rope play are also touched on. Lovely characters and a wonderful loving story.

I’ve never been aware of this type of relationship and was a bit apprehensive. Conflicting feelings, but the writing is so good I fell for the characters and their special caring relationship.
Cant wait to read the Denton heights book 2 and 3.
