He’s everything I’ve ever wanted, at the worst possible moment.

One and done. That’s always been my motto when it comes to guys, because I’m not about to pull someone else into the closet my parents have locked me inside. I’ve been waiting years to claim my inheritance and live the life I want to live–out, free, and oh yeah, rich.

So why is the universe dropping the sexy farm boy with the lazy smile into my life right now? When Bowen Whitlock says he’ll join my band, and later my bed, I know one time won’t be enough.

But loving Bowen is dangerous for me. And he has his own struggles, like keeping his family afloat and trying not to get fired from his job at Vino and Veritas. But he lives his life with an authenticity that gives me a tantalizing taste of living my truth.

My secret relationship with Bowen is everything, until someone betrays us in the worst possible way…

This was pretty good. Good way to end the series, overall it was a very enjoyable series. I wish this series had more books in it, I just loved the Vino & Veritas setting and all the familiar faces that kept popping up along the way.

Holy, the imagery in this book see: hot tub scene that I can’t stop replaying in my head. Insta-connection you feel from the moment Chase and Bowen meet.
If you follow my reviews you know I love a musician MC and here we have one confident, exhibitionist lead singer/guitarist. *crying*

With this 6th book in this second Vino&Veritas series, this series comes to an end and I'm just happy there's still a few for me to read, because I'm not sure if I'm ready to say goodbye to Vermont, the bar and the bookshop yet, let alone the wonderful characters that have grown on me like they are old friends.

This book surprised me in a good way. It was my first book by this author and when I realized it was because she mainly writes MF, it had me thinking about how few MF authors actually are able to write in the MM genre and make it an enjoyable read. Because writing MM is a different genre and asks for different skills. It's not like you can replace the F with an M and you have written an MM romance. The genre is so much more than that, and I think Victoria Denault understood that, and I really appreciate that.

This book is about Chase and Bowen, who were so sweet together! I loved their dynamics.
There are reasons for Chase to not be out the way he wants to be - very few people know he's gay. Bowen is one out and proud man, but he's kind of a disaster in the V&V bar, breaking stuff and spilling wine onto customers is not the way to go. But when one night he gets the chance to replace the drummer of the live band, he's in his element. And the handsome, confident singer (Chase) is kind of an extra bonus.
There's immediate attraction between the two of them, and when they both acknowledge there is, they agree to not make it into anything more than just one night of physical pleasure. But for some reason they can't seem to keep away from each other, and even though in the beginning they're somehow still convinced it's just sex and nothing more, it does turn into friendship and from there it grows into more. When they both realized how their feelings towards each other have changed, they agree to keep it on the down low, as Chase has reasons to stay in the closet for just a little while longer.
Both men wore scars on the inside, though for different reasons. But I loved how honest they were with each other - these men TALKED, which sometimes is a rare thing in mm romance books for the sake of drama. And of course there was some drama here as well, but it wasn't there just for the sake of it. It was part of this story, with intrigues and some politics on the side. It was interesting to see how it would turn out, how Chase and Bowen would finally get there and find their happiness together. I loved Bowen's family dynamics too. Victoria Denault created very lovable characters with Chase and Bowen, but also with the secondary characters. And of course it was a pleasure to see some of the V&V characters - even though they are written by different authors, they always seem true to their character in the different books, which I believe is a job well done!

This book would have been my favorite in this second series if it wasn't for the sudden and unexpected change in one of the secondary characters. I understand it was necessary for the story in order to have that ending, but to me it felt a bit unbelievable. But still, a very well written, lovely story and these two men totally deserved their happily ever after.

I kindly received an advanced copy from Sarina Bowen's Heart Eyes Press and this is my honest, unbiased review

audiobook: was amazing!!

the book was better than expected, i noticed this author does mainly MF romance, so i didn't know how this would be, but i went with it since i wanted to listen to the book.

I was glad i gave this a go, it was written in a way that i couldn't put it down. I think that Bowen and Chase were a good match and they were open with what was happening from the beginning. other than the blip at around the typical 75% mark it was a great book!

i hope this author writes a few other MM books, shes got a knack for it! now on to book 5.. haha reading these out of order. luckily these are all standalones and even with all the characters in there, it doesn't make you feel like you have to read all the books to enjoy it!

This book is glorious! There are certain images in it that are so fabulous, they’re going to take up permanent residence in my head, starting with the first hot tub scene and Chase’s undies. YUM. Bowen and Chase are so sweet together, and this book takes the “in the closet” trope and mixes it up so it feels fresh and new. Don’t miss!

Audiobook Review
Overall 4.5 stars
Performance 5 stars
Story 4 stars

Dauntless was a really cute and sexy MM romance. I loved the chemistry between Bowen and Chase (that hot tub scene was scorching!) and it's hard to believe that this is Victoria Denault's first time writing MM romance. I haven't had a chance to read any of the other books in the In Vino Veritas series yet and had no problem jumping right in.

Things to look forward to:

- The tropes! Instalust, forced proximity, workplace/band mate, sexual instruction/lessons, virgin hero (he's been with OW/OM before, but no OM penetration), just a hook up
- Bowen's family. I loved how tight knit they were (even before the tragedy that brought them even closer together). It was such a contrast to Chase's family and I think it was perfectly said when Bowen noted that his siblings were as vital to him as his own limbs.
- The narration. Teddy Hamilton and John Lane were chef's kiss. They were so wonderfully cast and were the perfect Bowen and Chase. Those spicy scenes almost made my airpods melt!
- The spice! This book was so sexy. *bites fist* I loved how these two didn't rush into anything they weren't ready for. It made the build up so delicious and I loved how they explored and were vulnerable with each other.
- The Wesmie easter egg/nod was so cute! I may have squealed a bit when I heard them discussing the book in the bookstore.

I wasn't sure at first if the conflict regarding the inheritance would work for me, but as I got to know the characters, I definitely understood the reasoning behind it. I knew the pushaway in the third act was coming, but it was still tough. If these two would have just taken a moment to talk to each other, a lot could have been avoided, but I understand why each was wary and hurt. The ending was wonderful though and made me so happy to see Chase finally able to be his truest self.

CW: death of parents & loved ones (past), insomnia, homophobia, strained family relationships, financial insecurity, slander/libel, marijuana use

4.5 stars!
This was a great read, and a great reminder why I love this True North spin-off universe. It's all wholesome romance, sexy shenanigans, and found family set in the coziest town imaginable.

I'll be honest, the blurb made me a bit sceptical. Money as the reason for keeping an adult in the closet usually doesn't work for me. At all. Too often I'll perceive that character as both shallow and immature. But not so with Chase. His reasoning was sound and didn't make him appear spoiled or selfish in the least. Instead, his situation only added to the complexity of his character and I honestly think I liked him more because of it. So kudos to Denault for that!

Bowen on the other hand was an altogether different kind of likable. More down to earth than Chase, and settled with himself, but struggling with the emotional backlash of his parents' sudden death, and - on a more practical note - with keeping his family farm afloat. He just came across as achingly genuine. And his relationship with his remaining family was heart-warming.

So yes, these guys hooked me. Hard.

Their relationship, from the initial glances and onward felt organic in its development. And that's always something that impresses me greatly.

Overall this is excellent writing. It's the kind that made me forget that I was reading which is high praise for any book.

So why only 4.5 stars then?
Well, there's nothing particular that I can point to that I didn't like with the story. Nothing that specifically lowered my opinion of it. I loved it and highly recommend it, but... It just didn't feel like a full 5-star to me. You know. Personal feelings and all that.

A great way to round out this excellent return to the expanded World of True North and the Vino & Veritas location in particular.

While I wasn't a big fan of the casual dope smoking in this book, it didn't detract from the lovely romance at the heart of the storytelling.

Both Bowen and Chase had their foibles, their faults and strengths but when it came down to the nitty-gritty, both displayed immense honesty and courage to admit what was in their hearts.

I've not read this author before but I enjoyed the family she created with Bowen and his siblings, I loved the friendship Chase had with two of his band mates.

While there's an instant attraction between the two men, I loved that they took their time to graduate beyond hand jobs and blow jobs, slowly getting to know each other more and put down solid foundations.

I also liked the the dramatic elements in the book came from events in the narrative that felt organically developed and not thrown in for the sake of it.

My only other comment would be that Chase is supposed to be almost 28, Bowen a couple of years younger, but they read far more like new adult characters in their early 20s to me than men approaching their 30s.

Overall though this was a really sweet ending to the series and I hope Sarina continues to return back to the lovely wine bar and bookstore in the future.

Around 2.5.
I'm the odd duck that didn't love the book. I liked parts of it, but it was still too full of clichés. The evil ex, the cold family, the political plot, the over the top HEA... It wasn't bad mind you, but it didn't make me want to read more from the author. Maybe the book had too much of the feel of certain type of M/F books I can't be bothered with.

Shoot. I finished this book weeks ago and am realizing I never reviewed it. My brain is such a sieve anymore so I don’t have specifics. But I def remember it being one of the better V and V stories I’ve read. Great couple, credible drama, a gratifying come out, and pretty damn sexy. An enjoyable listen for sure.

***
I found my review!:

Definitely one of the better Vino and Veritas books IMO. This story had a nice flow, likable characters, and a believable plot. I just wish the author hadn't written Bowen to be so clumsy, esp since he was only clumsy while at V&V and nowhere else in the story. I don't find persistent clumsiness to be a believable character trait, or at least I've never come read a story where an author writes it believably, and I have no idea what it added to the plot here. But aside from that, hardly anything annoyed me and that is a huge win for me these days. I think the narration of this story elevated it for me, esp with Teddy Hamilton on the scene. Lots of appearances from other V&V characters, although darned if I can remember details re any of them or their stories very well.

Bowen's turning out to be a disaster in the bar - dropping things, spilling things, etc. He can only hope Tanner doesn't fire him. But one night he gets the chance to replace an absent drummer in the band performing at the bar, and his life changes. Not only does the singer seem to be of like mind, but he finds a circle of friends within the band. But, what he and Chase have - physical fun, even a relationship, has to remain secret. Can Bowen stay a secret or will he eventually be so far gone over Chase that he'll want to be able to be public with him?

Chase has reasons for keeping his sexuality a secret. Not many know he's gay, and if it gets out, the consequences could be disastrous. So whatever it is that he's developed with gorgeous Bowen, has to stay secret. Will the day come when he can finally be open with his feelings? Will Bowen even stick around that long?

Chase and Bowen are so good together. They come together easily, naturally, and whew, HOT! They felt like just the perfect pair, perfect for each other in a way few fit together. I wanted to keep reading about this sweet, sexy couple and the world they live in, with all their friends who are family.

WHAT A WAY TO END A WONDERFUL SERIES! Oh my gosh this was such a great addition and Bowen and Chase completed this series in the best way. (Also yes I was cackling at the fact Bowen's name is Bowen and that there was a reference to Him while Chase was visiting the bookstore side of Vino & Veritas LOL). I was lucky enough to get my hands on an advanced listener copy of this one which worked out great because I had a long drive yesterday and was able to finish almost all of it in one go! The narrators were PERFECTION. It's crazy how that really can make or break my experience with a story sometimes but it's true. Teddy Hamilton and John Lane you did great, sweeties.

Not like I even need to mention this in yet another review for this series but I WILL just to get the point across. The chemistry that Bowen and Chase had was off. the. freaking. charts. Bowen is the "sexy hemp farmer" that we first heard about back in Wildfire who was selling buns to Joss and Chase is first seen for tiny bit in Wonderland when he offers to help the Meadows family with the old amusement park. During one of Bowen's many disastrous nights at V&V, Chase has his own disaster. The drummer for his cover band flakes and what do you know? Bowen knows how to play drums and knows several of the songs that the band had already planned on playing.

Apart from these two getting to know each other more through band practice and the occasional gig, we also see conflict in the form of Chase not truly being out with his sexuality because of his shitty family who are all knee deep in politics and because he doesn't want to lose access to a trust fund he plans on using to better their community. Bowen's brother is also trying to run for Mayor during the book and his main opponent is a family friend to Chase's. So really, the two are dealing with a lot in this book, both together and separately. Without spoiling anything, I will say that Chase does have a moment towards the end where he makes a choice during a very pivotal scene and it is SO good, you guys. I love love love how the ending turned out so much. It was such a treat to be able to come back and spend more time with both new and old characters!

Dauntless is the sixth—and last—book in the new M/M series In Vino Veritas, and it is part of Sarina Bowen’s World of True North. It is a standalone, so you don’t need to read any other book, but it is closely connected to the other books in the new series.

Also? It is Victoria Denault’s first MM book. And it is glorious. I love reading Victoria Denault’s stories. She’s a very gifted writer, and I can’t get enough of her words. Dauntless is just one more example of her versatility and talent. And I will always want more.

Dauntless is Bowen and Chase’s story. It’s an opposites attract, secret relationship story. Bowen is a really nice guy. He’s a farmer and he’s currently working at Vino and Veritas to help his family financially because his brother is running for mayor. His sister works at the bookstore and got him the job at the wine bar, but he’s not precisely having an easy time. He’s clumsy and breaks things a lot. But he’s also a musician, so when Chase’s band needs someone to cover for one of his bandmates, Bowen impresses everyone with his talent.

Chase is a bit older than Bowen and works in marketing and the chamber of commerce. He comes from a wealthy family and is set to inherit a lot of money that would allow him to be free of his family’s hold. He has plans for the money, but in order to get it he has to keep a clean image in the eyes of his father and aunt. Coming out as gay and in a relationship with a sexy farmer would be the opposite of that. But timing is everything, and Bowen shows up in his life in the worst possible moment.

I loved everything about this book. I love the writing, the setting, and the characters and their story. Their chemistry is off the charts, the progression of their relationship is perfect, and the situations they have to face and how the story evolves keeps you turning the pages. I also love how this book fits so seamlessly with the other books in this series without making you feel like you’re missing something if you haven’t read them. I highly recommend reading this book, the other books in the different World of True North series, and every book Victoria Denault has written.

Six books are definitely not enough for me. This reboot has blown me away in its calibre. Every book has been 5 stars for me. I loved returning to Vermont, I loved seeing old familiar faces, and I loved the way all these new couples intertwined.

But I guess it had to end, and Dauntless was a lovely story to finish it all. Hopeful and inspiring.

Rich political and conservative families are the devil incarnate. They are the worst humans, and Chase’s family is not different. If he wants his inheritance when he turns 28 he was to abide by his grandfather's morals clause. Which means gritting his teeth and living in the closet.

Whereas Bowen would give anything to have his parents back. Instead, he and his siblings are doing everything they can to keep their hemp farm going, including his brother running for Mayor and Bowen working at Vino & Veritas to help with the bills.

These two meet at V&V one night when Chase’s band is in need of a drummer and Bowen steps in to help. Their attraction is instant, but Chase can’t do repeats and Bowen won’t date another closet case. But the more time they spend together, the more time they talk, and the more they understand about themselves and the people they want to be. And it was wonderful to see how they would navigate everything put in their way to get to their happy ending.

They were a fantastic couple with such a bright future.

Victoria has once again pulled me into her characters worlds and wowed me with her words. Chase and Bowen have amazing chemistry are sweet, sexy and each dealing with the restrictions of the world they live in. Chase has never fully lived his live as he wants, and his father thought that his thoughts and interests were just fleeting. He has his music, but he wants more. He has always placed himself second when it comes to his true feelings and if he lives by their rules, he soon will also be able to claim his rightful inheritance. Now we have a handsome country boy that is talented and now on Chase's radar. Bowen is a hardworking man that is loyal to his family's farm and just trying to stay afloat working nights at the local bar. When their worlds intersect the sparks will fly. Loved their story filled with music, emotion and oh so many hurdles to overcome.

I enjoyed the beginning of this book and really liked Bowen from the start. Chase was hit and miss for me and he upset me more times than not. I think this had a lot of potential, and the moments we do get that are relationship focused are really well done, but this just had too much outside political aspects drawing the focus away from Chase and Bowen. Everything seemed a bit predictable too and I had a hard time believing the deep feelings that developed between the characters because we just didn’t get enough to build on I. My opinion.

In the end, this was just okay for me.

I received a free copy through Heart Eyes Press in exchange for an honest and unbiased review/opinion.

4 stars — This was a super easy read, filled with likeable characters and fabulous chemistry. I genuinely think I would have enjoyed it even more if I hadn’t been sick while trying to get it finished in a timely manner, so I almost wonder if it would have been even a 4.5 star.

First, let’s talk narrators real quick. Teddy Hamilton was solid as always. His voice is really easy to listen to, he has great emotion and pacing, and his voices tend to be pretty distinct…though I feel like I got confused more than usual this time, but that may be the dichotomy with the other narrator. This was my first listen of John Lane, and in general he was a delight to listen to — also great emotions and pacing. His different voices weren’t always as distinct and I would get confused about who was talking. I also think he went deep on voices I wasn’t expecting him to, and not necessarily the same ones that Teddy Hamilton did…but I’m also tired and getting over being sick, so take that with a grain of salt.

As I said at the beginning, our characters were pretty easy to like, and Bowen most of all for me. He was earnest, hardworking, authentic, and I appreciated how deeply his family tragedy had impacted him. He had a bonehead move or two in the book, particularly near the end, but for some reason I forgave him for it. Maybe it just fit with who he was, and showed who he was growing to be. I LOVED the relationship he had with his siblings, and how close they all were. The teasing was awesome.

Chase was just as likeable, but he was a bit more frustrating for me. I got where his…I was going to say hangups, but maybe fears is a better word? Anyways I got where he was coming from, but it was hard to watch him stumble over and over and not always see how he was coming across. For someone so seemingly put together in so many aspects of his life, he was unbelievably naïve and young when it came to his sexuality. It did make it satisfying when he made those steps we all were waiting for though…and it balanced him with Bowen I think.

They had great steamy chemistry from the start, but I appreciated that I also got to see their more develop and grow as the story went on. I really believed them as a couple…or a would be couple anyways.

There were some great baby twists I didn’t see coming near the end, so that was a delight.

And shout out to the aquafit scene! It’s not just for seniors, and I know I would have enjoyed that scenery too!

All in all, definitely recommend…and I can see trying to read it again when I’m in a better frame of mind to enjoy it more.

~~I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads ~~

This is the sixth book in the series and a really good addition to it - I would recommend that you read them in order, so that you can get the full goodness of all these guys. Do go and catch up on the original Vino e Veritas collection because every book adds to the wonderful group of people living in Burlington, Vermont.

Bowen is working extra jobs to help get his brother elected as mayor. One of them is at V&V and unbelievably Bowen is even more clumsy than Molly ... and that is, as any regular reader will know, is pretty impressive. One evening Chase and his band are about to have to cancel their show as their drummer has not turned up - Bowen offers to fill in, and for the first time in years he gets to use his musical talents. I enjoyed the band set up in this story - although it made me chuckle that there is still a farming element to the story!

Chase is in a difficult family situation, waiting for his next birthday so that he can get his inheritance. In the meantime he has to behave in accordance with his grandfather's conservative wishes. That means that his attraction to Bowen should not be allowed to go any further - but really that chemistry is impossible to ignore.

What is so lovely about this book is that these guys talk about things. I think that it is Bowen's background that makes that possible - but it is great that Chase gets to benefit from that openness too, after a life of having to comply to be acceptable.

I received this as an arc in exchange for an honest review and all I gotta say is Victoria damn well delivered !!!!

I’ve been a fan of the true north universe created by Sarina Bowen since the beginning, and Dauntless is the perfect addition to that little world. Without a doubt, the two books written by Victoria in this universe are without a doubt my favourites of them all.

Dauntless follows Bowen and Chase- one out and proud, the other forced into the closet. The journey these two went on from ‘friends’ to lovers was beautifully written and woven throughout the story, so much that I can forgive any major conflict with ease because Chase handled it with grace, and got his man back like he deserved !!!!!!!

I loved watching them unable to keep their eyes off of each other and just *hoping* nobody would notice- plot twist they probably did. Two souls connected beyond time, finding love in a strange and difficult part of their lives, but both so deserving of it, and I’m glad they got their happy ending.

These characters, and their supporting characters (not certain members of Chase’s world bc f those guys) made this story the amazing tale it is. They all flawlessly seemed to fit on the page, and I can’t imagine Bowen and Chase having any other support systems than they do because Victoria knows how to writer her side characters just as great as she does her main ones.

Overall, this was an amazing book that I finished in 1 sitting (hello not paying attention to class). I couldn’t look away from the effortless way Bowen and Chase were drawn to each other, and I was begging for them to get their happily ever after from the first time they locked eyes. I can’t recommend this more to anyone who loves a pretty low-angst, ‘friends’ to lovers, M/M book with wonderful side characters and beautifully deserving main characters.

Dauntless is one of my top reads of the year by far!

Dauntless is the sixth and final book in the In Vino Veritas series.

I need a little drink after reading this book. Bowen and Chase stole my heart.

I have to admit that I wasn't sure at first about the idea of the gay man being in the closet and having to hide the relationship  but it worked 100% because of both MCs' extraordinary personalities. Bowen is the devoted brother who had to step up after an accident left him and his two siblings orphans. He has the purest heart and I totally wish he'd be my bestfriend. And Chase, the "one-and-done" guy who has to hide himself because of his own family. I'm so glad he decided to give love a chance. I'm also a huge sucker for guitar players... so I totally swooned.

Reading I felt like every scene showcased the two MCs' attraction to one another perfectly. The stolen smiles and winks and the flirting. I loved that both men were so mature in the face of challenges and that love won all battles.

I might have felt a little overwhelmed with all the side characters at some point. I feel like I had an advantage from having read all the previous books, and believe if someone hasn't, they might get a bit confused.

In the end, because I totally fell in love with Bowen and Chase, I would definately recommend. A wonderful ending to a beautiful series. Cheers!

Chase's band needs a drummer... Bowen stets up... but there is so much more !
Bowen, long hair in bun (cover) helps

run the family farm, works at Vino and Veritas, was a music major, his brother is running for Mayor, his sis is Autumn, their folks died in a car accident.
Chase, 28, brown hair, tall on top, close sides,

blue eyes, is in his band and in the closet, in his political family. He can inherit his millions in six months if his Dad OKs it, then he can come out. His band plays at Vino and Veritas, and Bowen volunteers to play drums, and it turns out to be much more.

It gets complicated fast. It's a small town with politics, an ex with a grudge, plus a hidden relationship, because Chase has to stay in the closet.

It's a slow burn for Chase and Bowen, who is out and proud. later their sexy times are sizzling with firsts for Chase. These guys get along well, while we see their thoughts, their talks, and how everything in the small town politics gets nasty.

Overall the characters are lively, and we get the huge surprise at the end.
ENJOY !

Dauntless is the story of rekindling passion, opening yourself up to being vulnerable and balancing need with want... and learning from the past, but finding your future... and of course all set to the music of their lives!

Chase was a bit of an enigma, but as his story unfolded, I found myself drawn to him more and more... Bowen was much more straightforward and likeable from the start and I have to say that the angst and drama made for some fun reading, although I guessed the culprit and the motivation... let me know if you do too...

I'm sad that this chapter of the books involving Vino and Veritas have drawn to a close, but I'm hoping that they'll be back with even more stories surrounding the bookstore and wine bar in Burlington, Vermont soon!

Family

Bowen is a gay hemp farmer who still lives at home with his two siblings after the death of their parents. Chase is rich, runs his own firm, songs in a band and teaches aqua aerobics. These two come together when Chase band needs a new drummer and Bowen substitutes. These two wonderful men become a couple but have to remain a secret due to Chase family homophobia. I'm glad they finally got their HEA especially after all the drama and this book is a must read.

Dauntless is the final book in the In Vino Veritas series and what a book to end this series. Chase and Bowen's connection was instantaneous and I felt every bit of their chemistry flying off the pages. Neither men want to acknowledge the spark between them! but can't seem to stay away from eachother. With outside forces making negotiations and power plays, Chase and Bowen have to fight for their livelihood and break down the walls that want to hold them in. Dauntless offers up some sexy musicians, so if Rockstar romances are your thing this is a great rendition to the genre. With all the steamy goodness of the previous books in this series but definitely held it's own with the heat notching up between Chase and Bowen which made for a exciting and engaging read.

This should’ve been a novella. You could lose a good 60 pages and not miss anything. This basically amounted to insta-love which if fine if it makes sense but these two barely knew each other. The whole political element read so cheesy. The third act breakup was so forced and made zero sense. The whole story was very weak.

I wanted a bit of a palate cleanser and to try a new to me author. While I did accomplish one of those, it certainly isn’t an author I’d pick up again.

If I could give this book more than five stars I would. This book was the absolute best way to end this shared world. Bowen and Chase pulled my heartstrings as these two men tried figuring out how to exist with and in each other's worlds without blowing it up. I laughed, I cried, and I sighed as these two men got their happily ever after. I highly recommend.

I really enjoyed this one. Bowen was lovely even when he was having troubles with his anxiety. Chase wasn't overly entitled, so that was nice. I know it sounds like I didn't like him, but really he was pretty lovely, too... This is the first I've read in the second series about this town, but I can see myself reading all of them eventually.
