Good Intentions

While the intentions of this book are commendable and it contains invaluble information, the ingredients in many of the recipes aren't practical. Having lived and moved all over the U.S. in my lifetime I can say with confidence that there are some places that just wont have what you're looking for. It would take multiple trips to various stores to find and obtain the items for a single recipe. Things like coconut sugar, almond butter, and chia seeds are difficult enough. I used to shop at three seperate stores over an hour apart to find these. Throw in collagen peptides powder, tapioca flour, tiger nut flour, and coconut aminos and you may resort to shopping on Amazon. Beyond that many of these difficult to find ingredients are each only used in a single recipe (not together), which in the 21 day meal plan rarely repeats. So these ingredients are just taking up room in the cupboard without being used much. Meal plans which use non-like ingredients regularly are also a drain on the budget. Meaning that, while the recipes may be healthy and good for you they aren't finantially viable for the average person in the U.S. Especially if they're not shopping online and you add gas prices into the mix. There are a few good recipes which I'd be glad to my diet. But overall the intentions of the book don't outweigh the impracticality of it.

Some worthwhile recipes

I enjoyed viewing the recipes but some of the ingredients I had to Google some of the ingredients maybe some I had never heard before.
