Of Demons and Witches

Rate this book
Two of my boys are under my cousin's enchantment. They don't remember me, they don't know that they are being manipulated, their minds controlled.

They don't remember that it's me they want, not my cousin.

My plan, my goal has changed. I'm not here to hurt them anymore but to help them.

With the aid of the other two boys, we're doing all we can to break the spell and stop my cousin's nefarious plans which include killing the boys to take their power and then taking over the world.

Nothing much. Only that.

As my own magic awakes, I need to come to terms with who I really am and my new reality. Yet saving my boys is fast becoming my priority. Incredible as it may seem, I've fallen for them – all four of them.

But my cousin isn't done yet. She has power and plenty of aces up her sleeve. Will I be able to wrestle my boys away from her before it's too late?

I'm obsessed with this series.

Oh man, the ending has me upset! That cousin is getting on my nerves, and the guys need help. Mia has some work to do to fix this and it won't be easy. She's coming into her own and knowing more about herself is helpful. One thing that has annoyed me is her listening to others about the guys. You know they don't like them, yet you're entertaining their conversations.

Anyways, on to book 4. I need to know what happens next.

Frustrated with the fmc

So....the fmc is pretty dumb, and because of her stupid waffling and straight up denial everyone is getting hurt.

It's hard to keep reading because the only answer to literally save the world is to kill Ophelia. All the clues are laid out in front of her and she is too blind to see any of it.

Secrets are revealed and Mia finally learns the truth. Her cousin Ophelia has a plan to rule the world but in order to do that she needs the power from 4 powerful beings who possessed elemental magic.

With her enchantment spell Ophelia has taken control of all of Mia's mates and the very thought of Mia causes them pain. Leaving Mia alone and having to figure things out on her own.

Time is of the essence and Mia has learned about the prophecy of the 2 witches who are born of Light and one of Darkness. Only the strongest witch will win.

Now that the truth is out Mia must learn how harness her magic as well as find a way to thwart Ophelia's plan for world domination and saving her mates lives at the same time. What could possibly go wrong?.

OMG what a great twist. Mia finally realizes the truth about her cousin and has to save the world, save her mates, and deal with the betrayal of her cousin all at the same time. This shocker I really didn't see coming. Can't wait to see what happens next!.

This is the third book in Mona Black’s Pandemonium Academy Royals series. It is not a standalone. The books are best enjoyed when read in order. Each book ends on a cliffhanger. You have been warned.

Our story picks up right where book two left us on the edge of our seats. All H-E-Double-Hockey Sticks had just broken loose and it took me this entire time to pick my jaw up from the floor. Mia’s we-thought-she-was-in-a-sleep-coma-with-seven-dwarves Cousin had just shown up and GASP! 😮 She’s Dr. EVIL! 👿 As if that wasn’t bad enough, she makes a play for Mia ‘destiny’ and her boys. Mia’s got 99 problems and this Beeatch is number One.

Our poor Royal Rogues: Fae, Werewolf, Vampire, and Demon Heirs, are challenged with determining who is the prophesied witch to help not only save them, but also the supernatural realm. One by one their resolve is tested. Their faith, their very bonds, in Mia and in each other are put to the test. Will they stand up for their convictions or will they fall?

Mia’s confidence in herself, her abilities, and her relationships are once again in play. I hope in book four, she continues to make strides towards self reliance.

These books continue to get better and better. We get a much more intimate look at the characters and their interplay with each other. The writing was fast paced, interesting, and engaging. I’m anxiously awaiting the epic conclusion.

5 ⭐ I loved it. I’ll revisit it like an old friend. This book is moving right into my favorites category. I would recommend it to everyone, even people that don’t ask. I’ll one click this author’s work in the future.
4 ⭐ A great read. I’ll probably reread again when feeling nostalgic. It was enjoyable, not portable magic. I would recommend it.
3 ⭐ I liked it. It was a nice way to pass the time. I doubt I’ll reread it. I’d recommend it to someone asking for a specific genre. Thanks for the memories.
2 ⭐ I completed the Herculean task of finishing this book. At times, it felt like I was Prometheus and the suffering would never end. It just wasn’t for me but I applaud the author for their effort.
1 ⭐ I couldn’t finish this book or I wish I hadn't finished. How do I put this? It’s not me, it’s you.

It was all lies...the reason she had come to Pandemonium Academy the elite school for magical creatures and humans alike was to take revenge on four boys. Boys that her cousin Lia had written about in her diary.

Mia (Madeline Mina was her real name) had bought forged papers and a place in Pandemonium Academy and took the opportunity to escape from her life in the Church of Angels. She was found as a baby on their steps and had been adopted, but she slept in the basement and worked until her hands bled and they found many opportunities to punish her for sins she didn't know had been committed.

Her only contact with the outside world was her cousin Ophelia who told her exciting stories of her life at Pandemonium Academy. But then Lia was found in an enchanted sleep and the rumor was that she had committed suicide. When Mia found her diary she read about the four boys who had bullied her to the point of despair.

But it was all lies...Lia was really Aurora and a witch. Something that she had been raised to hate being taught that all magical creatures had parts of the demons that created them. Lia's diary was a lie...these boys, who she has fallen in love with, boys that have protected her from the moment she walked through the doors, didn't do the things in the diary. Oh, and Lia wasn't even dead.

Lia was at Pandemonium Academy claiming to be the Queen Witch and there to claim her four conduits to come into her full powers. And the biggest lie...evidently Mia wasn't human after all and was a witch with magic. But how was she going to stop Aurora and save the boys she loved when she didn't know how her magic worked? Everything was just so confusing...was anything she had been taught true?

This series just keeps getting better and better! It is very well written and draws you in so you can't put down the book. The characters are fully developed and relatable. This book cannot be read as a standalone...you need to start at book one to understand these characters and the basis of the story. So expect cliffhangers.

This reverse harem romance is action-packed from word one, steamy hot with MM & MFM sexual scenes, full of suspense and intrigue and tons of danger. I can't wait to see how Mia comes into her own and retrieves what belongs to her.

Highly recommend this series! Mona Black has woven an amazing story of intrigue, danger and romance full of vampires, fae, werewolves and demons. You will not want to miss out of this series!

Getting old

This series is starting to go from mediocre to annoying. There has been no real progression of the plot. Mia stays in denial that she has magic through pretty much the whole book. And what is up with her insistence that they tell her if they killed in their past? They all told her multiple times that they were not good people and had violent pasts. So her continuous bouncing back and forth from loving them to judging them and not thinking she can be with them just became annoying. I get that the author is building suspense, but it's gone on for far too long. Mia has not shown any growth at all. For someone who is well read, she is an absolute imbecile. She shows no interest in researching what is going on with the guys being controlled or how to fix it. She shows no interest in learning how to use her magic (because she denies having it). Also, what is up with them being at a school for magical beings, but them not teaching magic or allowing its use? I'm just finding inconsistency in it. I'm also getting bored. I will still read the next book because I do like the plot even though it's been dragged out way too long. I will probably skim through most of it if I don't see any character growth in our MC. I haven't liked her in any of the books, but the fact that she doesn't grow as a person just makes her character irredeemable.

The amazing author sent the first 2 books, and I was over the moon. I was realllly hoping things wouldn’t get wrapped up in book 3 and I was SO pleased to find out there’s much more to come. Wonderfully written, original plot-line with a wicked sense of humour.

Read this is you’re a fan of reverse harem, shifter romance and magiccccc. This series takes the best from each genre and moulds them into a story I couldn’t take my eyes off of.

Each character is so well written, a lush balance of backstory and figuring out their feelings. Each boy has a unique selling point (let’s talk about that Jacob’s ladder for a moment please..) in their alpha-hole personalities that someone makes you want to big the big spoon, even if they could eat you whole and alive for breakfast.
Every single bluff and double bluff by Mona Black had me wanting to launch my kindle across the room because they are so damn clever.

I cannot wait to see more from this series.

This is book three of the Pandemonium Academy Royals series. These books need to be read in order to understand the plot. I liked book 3, we get a little bit more information on each character plus a few answers to some of the questions. Mia spends her time trying to solve the mystery behind her adoption and how her cousin is using magic on the guys. The boys in this story appear weak and confused most of the time. I’m really hope they get a bit more fight in them as the story progresses. This book leaves me once again with many unanswered questions. Will Mia figure out her magic and save the guys from the future waiting for them all? I really enjoy reading the personal growth Mia has had on her journey so far.

I was so excited to start seeing so much more of the primary story happening here. I had a general idea of where this was going to go and it was delivered with a side of stress. Normally its the bully books that get me stressing but this one had me going for other reasons.

Mona promised m/m in this book and oh did she deliver. You get to see a lot more of Sin in this book as well and learn more of his and the other guys' background which is fabulous. You can start feeling for them all so much more when you know more about a character.

The cliffhanger on this one left me with the same stress that I had throughout the book and I'm upset I'll need to wait so long for Of Witches and Queens.

'Of Demons and Witches' is the third book int the Pandemonium Academy Royals series which should be read in order. The story picks up right after book 2 left off. The royals and Mia's group have splintered off. Jax and Rhys went with her cousin Lia as they are convinced the's the queen witch. It's a race to figure out what Lia's up to and bring Mia's boys back to her. Unfortunately nothing goes as planned. They put together pieces of the puzzle a little too late. I'm excited to read what's next, but hopefully Mia can get it together quicker in the next book to anticipate Lia's moves before the Golden Moon event. Overall an entertaining and captivating story that keeps readers engaged.

Book 3 we find Mia lost 2 of her boy's stolen by her "cousin " the witch queen, but is she the queen or a wannabe like all the other nasty girls in school. Mia is still trying to figure out who she is is she a witch or just a human adopted by a old line of witches, Lia is she going to steal all her boy's from her. Doubt is being whispered in the ears or cracks or walls. Book 3 has really set the plot for the coming golden moon, with great drama and suspension a really page turners I hope i don't have to wait long for Book 4.

Mia and Her Guys . . .

Mia is attending Pandemonium Academy and is beginning to believe she might be a witch, although she still has much to learn. Her cousin has enchanted two of her guys and plans to kill them so she can steal their power. Everything is getting so complicated as Ophelia causes even more trouble among Mia and her guys, Ashton (a vampire), Emrys (a demon), Jason (a werewolf), and Sindri (a Fae prince). No one knows what to believe.

This story is fast-paced and suspenseful. There is only one more book to finish Mia’s story. Will she save her guys? Will they all be back together again for a HEA? Or will Ophelia complete her evil plans and ruin everything?

i just find it hard believe this girl is still hung in these being good or bad. girlie does it matter if they killed or not? you literally saw one strip a girl by force just to get to her wallet in book one. clearly they are not good guys even they want to do better.

the set up for the angst in this series i very weak. being in mfcs head still gives whiplash. the romance s rushed but atleast we a magical reasoning for it.

also i figured so many things in book one that these ppl are just figuring out. they don’t think fast and are all over the place.

anyway as i said it’s easy to read so i’ll cont and i hope the next book is short.

This was one heart wrenching, grab you by the throat book. This is the 3rd book in the Pandemonium Academy Royals series and gah I'm still reeling from this book. From start to finish I kept hoping and praying that Mia would be able to figure things out in time before it was too late, but for every one step she would take there would be Ophelia. I felt like Mia was just clueless, but then that's what happens when your left in the dark and told lies and everyone else around you knows more. I need answers, so now I have to wait on the next book. This series is a must read.

Best book out of the series for me so far! I loved all the emotions that are involved in this book, the heartbreak, the way all these characters struggle with their pasts, how every win seems to imply a loss as well, … I seem to finally be able to comprehend these characters, how they “work” and became the people they are, and it made me all the more invested in their story. This third book felt a bit more “mature” to me, and I’m really looking forward to see how their story will unfold in the next one.

This was a Crazy book of spells, wolves, vampires, Faes, etc. This story is about two cousins Ophelia and Mia. Mia and Ophelia have been raised differently. They go to an academy for elementals. Mia is very close with 4 boys (Ashton, Emrys, Sindri, and Jason) Things aren't what they seem, Good and bad are fighting each other. Spells to control people is running ramped, why is it happening we don't have a clue. you must read this to find out why all of this going on. When you get to the bottom of it you will be surprised.

This is book three out of four and continues to more the story forward. It is well written and continues building the relationships of the FMC and her partners. I have a hard time with books where the main characters continue to be torn apart or have a forced hatred of each other. I am really looking forward to the next book!.

This series has me so riveted that I can’t wait for the next book already! This one definitely sends you on a roller coaster ride of emotions. You definitely h get a closer look into these characters, what makes them “tick”, what shaped them into the people that they are now & etc. They all seem to struggle in their own way, with the wins and possible losses.

I can’t wait for the next book & to see where their journey is going to take them!

Things have taken a turn…
Angst. Suspense. Heartbreak. Magic and more..

This is book 3 in the series and picks up where book 2 finished.
Mia's cousin is back and creating havoc at every turn at the school and everything has changed. She is after Mia’s boys and wants their power but Mia is determined to save them.

If you love magic mixed with Vampires, Demons, Werewolves and Fae then you will want to read this series!

Now pandemonium continues in a way I'm all over it! In the positive sense of the word. It is really good. Of course reading in order is a must as it is a continuing series so start with book 1 if you haven't read it yet. Everything happens in this book, the emotions are running high and I love the storyline in here. Mia's cousin returns and everything changed. One step forward, three steps back. Well done and can't wait for the next one.

Wooo, those MM scenes. 🔥 Lots of discoveries learned in this one. Also a little exhausting with Ophilia gaining wins. Major cliff hanger! But it shows you exactly were the next book with start with. With a big butt whooping for either Mia or Ophilia. Can not wait to see when they finally all get together in the sexy sense!! 😍

Pandemonium Academy Royals Series by Mona Black

The series had me hooked on book 1. It was a roller-coaster with heartbreak, sexual tension, and love. The FMC discovers her truth self, and the character development is on point, I won't lie her character did annoy me at times with how stupid she was being, but the end outcome redeemed her character in my opinion. The 4 MMC are delicious and make this reverse harem a spicy mix.

Overall, I loved the series and read them within 4 days.

This is book three in the series and continues on with crazy plot twists and angst so good you'll want to simultaneously hold your reader tighter and chuck it across the room. The blending of magic and shifters is so well done and the characters just continue to surprise me. I can't wait forbthe final book!
