He’s a billionaire with an attitude and a secret government job. She’s a hacker on the run from her past. Together they must fight to keep her alive or lose their chance at happiness forever.

To the world, Parker Collins is little more than an entitled rich boy. He has a reputation for spending his days playing games and his nights in the arms of the next in a long line of willing women. But what you see isn’t always what you get, and for Parker, there’s only one woman consuming his every thought. One he’s starting to fall for…and he doesn’t even know her real name.

Quinn “Jinx” Wilder is a woman hiding from her past. She’s tried changing her name, using an encrypted phone, cutting herself off from the rest of the world… Everything a person with her skills is capable of. But it doesn’t matter. The man taunting her is still there. A faceless, nameless creature lurking in shadows. And when things escalate into a life-or-death situation, there’s only one person Quinn knows to turn to… A man she’s never actually met.

After a whirlwind rescue—and slightly awkward meet-cute—Parker and Quinn’s online friendship soon turns into something more. But just as these two computer geniuses begin considering they might have a future together, the unthinkable happens and Quinn is taken. Desperate to find the woman he loves before it’s too late, Parker turns to the one group he knows he can count on… The men of Charlie Team.

With five highly trained operatives by his side, Parker finds himself in a race against time and a greedy fugitive hell-bent on revenge. And failure is not an option. Not when it comes to the woman he loves.

Possibly my favorite of the R.I.S.C. Charlie team books (I love Ms. Blakely's heroes!). A worthy heroine in this one, and a brilliant, nerdy billionaire hero. The climactic action scene was so good!

I felt it could use another editing pass. Lots of typos or word usage mistakes. But such great storytelling! Now I'm looking forward to the Delta Team getting their stories.

I borrowed Parker ~ R.I.S.C. Charlie Team ~ Book 5, by Anna Blakely from the Kindle Unlimited Program.

Parker is a childhood friend of Sydnee, Archer's financé, a member of Charlie Team of R.I.S.C.. He has a computer game business, is super rich and consults for a couple of government agencies and has helped Charlie Team a couple times in rescuing their women. When he finds his special woman, both the members of Charlie Team and Delta Team come forward to help keep Quinn safe and work together to rescue her when her ex takes her captive.

The actions is dangerous, explosive and suspenseful while Parker works to gain Quinn's trust and love as they work to find the men after Quinn.

🖥️🖱️Why would you call a total stranger when you're in danger? I mean sure you're friends but as far as you know he might be a normal person with a normal job and normal life. Why would you want to drag him in your mess?

🖥️🖱️Why the lies? Like really.... Isn't everyone trying to nail whoever is attacking Quinn.

🖥️🖱️Your code word is manipedi because we have one scene where you refused manipedi? Isn't it too out of reach? What about jinx? Or anything meaningful?

Sad news Parker is the finale of Charlie Team but it's a great ending and best news there is a sneak peek/introduction to Delta Team as the RISC series is set to continue which makes me exceptionally happy!
Parker first appeared in Asher's story (Charlie Team book 2) and although this is a standalone if you want the benefit of the whole back story read the rest of the series first. Billionaire Parker is tired of people simply seeing him for his money, he isn't the playboy tabloids portray him as and would much rather spend his free time at home gaming anonymously online with fellow online gamer Jinx. There online friendship has progressed to texting and talking on the phone although neither has any idea about each other's identity. Parker voices meeting in person but Jinx's childhood scars hold her back and she ghosts him leaving Parker beside himself with worry.
Quinn Wilder aka Jinx has rebuilt her life after an early brush with criminal elements but she remains convinced that a HEA is not for her. Feeling threatened and terrified when her past turns up wanting revenge and threatening her life, she turns to the one person who makes her feel safe - Parker.
Stunned when she finds out the real identity of her gaming friend ByteMe69 is rich tech mogul Parker, Quinn is scared to trust his feelings for her but as they work to try and discover who is behind the threats they learn all about who they really are and what is important. Danger strikes and Parker will stop at nothing to save Quinn and his RISC friends have his back.
Parker is a thrill ride, action packed & pacy, there is some suspense, excitement, laughs, emotions, heat - Parker and Quinn are great characters and I thoroughly enjoyed their story. I am Charlie has ended but so excited for Delta - can't wait.
I received an arc from the author and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review.

We've arrived at the finale of the Charlie Team series and Parker's story was worth the wait! We first met billionaire tech mogul Parker Collins in Asher's story (book 2) and he definitely needed his story told and what a story it was! Parker has spent his downtime the past year playing in an online gaming forum. He became friendly with another gamer Jinx when he decided to reach out via their chat area and eventually started talking on the phone. Parker suggests meeting in person and then Jinx falls off the radar. A month later Jinx finds herself in serious trouble and doesn't know who to call so she reaches out to her gaming friend for assistance. Little does she know that ByteMe69 is a billionaire tech playboy! Parker comes to Jinx rescue and learns that she is Quinn Wilder, a young hacker turned straight whose past is coming back to get her. Parker and Quinn team up to find the man who is after Quinn for revenge but along the way they finally get to know each other in real life and Parker wants more even if Quinn is apprehensive of Parker's feelings for her. If you haven't read the previous books in the Charlie Team series, Parker does stand alone however I highly recommend reading Asher first to really get to know the backstory and the supporting characters better. Parker was told from dual POV and was filled with action, emotions and plenty of heat!

I have thoroughly enjoyed the Risc Series and especially the final one with Parker and Quinn.
This book has lots of depth with Quinn's character and how she has the notion that she will never find love. Her childhood was horrendous and it has leaked into her adulthood.

Meanwhile Parker has found a person that he would love to get to know, but they only communicate in the gaming world. He suggests a meet in person, but Jinx aka Quinn doesn't believe that is a good idea.

She ends up on the run as someone is trying to kill her and with no friends the only person, she knows is Parker. She contacts him and immediately he is in protector mode. He flies to Chicago and picks her up.

This story is heartwarming, full of emotion and a rollercoaster ride for both of them.

I would definitely recommend reading this book. If you haven't read the whole Risc Series (Charlie team) I suggest you do. You will not be disappointed.

Readers giving 5 stars and not pointing out that her proofreaders suck are just doing Anna a huge disservice.
Anna, should you ever read this, your stories are awesome. But too many mistakes are making it thru to the final product and because it seems to be getting worse, you really need to employ someone that's actually good at their job.

“Mia is an absolute doll. Emma said she and Trace want us to start coming to the annual Charlie Team Christmas parties. Taylor invited us to come see her and Greyson’s house in the country, and Victoria…” Quinn stared back at him pointedly. “That woman is a total badass.”
Who TF is Victoria? She obviously meant Vanessa but as usual she doesn't have her facts straight but come on. She's not some random character . She's a main character I the series. Kind of like last book getting Trace's last name wrong despite having two main characters in 9 books with the name

Parker was a fantastic addition to the Charlie Team series! While Parker is not the traditional member of the R.I.S.C. Charlie Team, we have seen him in the previous books and it was so cute that he got his own story. Parker and the MFC Quinn start an online friendship, which is something both need as Parker is looking for someone to see beyond his billionaire status and Quinn is looking for safety. When Quinn's life is put in danger, luckily Parker is able to call on the Charlie Team to save her. I adore the moments between Parker and Quinn as they finally find someone who understands them as a person, and the steamy moments were still very steamy. All in all, this was a great way to end the Charlie Team saga, and I look forward to anything and everything this author creates as the R.I.S.C. universe is expanded further!

It's true that sadly, Parker is the final book in Charlie team and it's a great one. There's good news though, we get to meet some of the Delta Team members in Parker. Color me intrigued. I liked the premise that both Parker Collins and Quinn Wilder had met playing an online game and had more or less fallen for the other without having ever met in person. Two computer savants, though they don't know that about the other, become play partners first, then online friends and finally developing feelings over the course of a year. She reaches out for help when her past catches up with her, Parker goes all in. He'll do anything for her including going a little...make that a lot overboard. She doesn't need stuff, she just need someone to love her. Charlie Team is there when it counts and Parker gets his happily ever after. Quinn knows she's no longer jinxed.

This book was amazing and a great way to wrap up this series. This book had so many cool things about it. First, I liked the idea of this couple. Here are two people who flirt over the internet but haven't met and it's all harmless and fun. Now they're being thrown together and they are realizing that their internet friendship and flirting are just as potent in real life as online. I like that because of the situation they were in they were trying to keep a distance from crossing any line until the issue was sorted out.

Another piece of this story that I really enjoyed is the wrapping up of the series so you get to see all of the other players on this team but you also get to meet a new team. I enjoyed reading about how they all interacted with each other and helped each other out but also sparked an interest in getting to know this new group.

Action packed plot in a fast paced flow, it's exciting and emotional. Hold your breath minutes and explosive ones, fabulous characters who are mostly good guys/women easy to love and invest reading time in. Great villains, I definitely wanted them ended. Quinn is a sweetie, she reaches out to the one person she trusts and finds so much more than just help. Parker may have money and a few trusted friends but he wants that special someone who loves him for himself and not the money or notoriety. It's tense in places and I liked that Quinn stood up for herself when she needed too, despite all the action and some suspense this was very romantic as well. Gripping story that had me completely hooked from the start right to the end, most definitely a happy one.🤗🐈❤

I LOVED this story! There is more than meets the eye to Parker Collins. To the world he is a billionaire video game developer who has a string of women passing through his life of a playboy. Quinn Wilder, also known as Jinx, grew up rough, became a hacker to try and help the less fortunate and later worked for the FBI cyber crimes unit. Both are guarded based on their past or the world’s perception of them. But they connect over an online chat on a video game where they can both be anonymous. But when danger finds Jinx, she knows he is the only one that she can turn to, even if she has no idea who he is or even what his real name is. As they navigate their way through eliminating the danger she’s in, they both find what they truly want in each other.

I loved this story so much. It grabbed my attention from the beginning, and I really hated that life got in the way of me finishing in one sitting because I didn't want to put it down! Parker and Quinn are kindred spirits with their tech genius minds, and their story of practically falling for each other without knowing each other's true identities is sweet. But never fear Parker definitely has the alpha protector role down too as he comes to her side without a second thought when she calls and makes it his life mission to keep her safe, and Quinn is one tough woman herself who just needed a hand. Plenty of action, danger, and heart stopping suspense as they fight to stop the bad guys to secure their future.

RISC-Charlie adjacent billionaire game designer was smitten with hacker Quinn ‘Jinx’ Wilder when she panicked and disappeared. Despite his contacts and skills, he’d been unable to find her. As an abandoned child, Jinx developed her own ethics and fell for smooth talking, Justin who planned to use Jinx’s skills for crimes and help convict her while he escaped.

But Jinx had a deal with the FBI before she worked on Justin’s scheme. They had more than Quinn’s evidence against Quinn, he ignored that and vowed vengeance against Jinx. During the month they didn’t talk, Jinx was getting threats. When a masked gunman broke into her home, Jinx barely escaped and called Parker for help.

This is family

Parker and Quinn. I wanted Parker to get an HEA since we first met him and boy gf a great one! I loved the use of his persona and his secret government work. Quinn is impressive with her skill sets and secrets as well. Meeting the new Delta team was wonderful because of the character introductions, but also because it means more time in this world! The danger had an unexpected element and the final scene to save Quinn was quite unique and not one I have seen before. The ending of the book brought the two their HEA and sharing their final secrets which was entertaining to how in common they were, brought the Charlie team, their significant others, and this couple all together and all happy as they deserve. Great series, world and book!

Who would have thought that the mysterious Parker would end up being my favorite. An unknown for so many books. This hot guy is not just only badass, he is a softy too. Enter the mysterious Jinxs aka Quinn and we have got two peas in a pot. Similar but not the same. I love that Parker ends the Charlie Series and during this book we get glimpses on Delta and maybe hint for Echo?
While we all fell in love with our RISC Guys if one thought we get tired of them it’s certainly not the case. Anna finds new ways to keep us entertained and hooked and I definitely can’t wait gor the next book featuring Delta Team’s Christian.
Love it!

I've read all the R.I.S.C. books, from the very first one and I am never disappointed. I'm always sucked in right in at page one. The characters are well built and I feel like I'm right there in the action. Smiled at Parker's background and what he and Quinn kind of had in common. Absolutely loved their first meeting and her actions, caught me off guard, the guys too! It's lonely at the top, money does not buy everything. Me, who I am, versus what I have. Totally spot on. Non-stop action and heart pounding intensity. Loved the insight into the next series, you will too. I'm so excited for it.

I voluntarily reviewed this book.

Parker is the final book of the RISC Charlie Team series, and it is an awesome book. Anna Blakely always delivers a great suspenseful plot with sigh worthy romance. Parker was full of exciting twists and turns and sexy moments. I couldn’t put it down. I loved Parker and Quinn. They were both nerdy, nervous badasses, and they are perfect for each other. They meet online playing a game, and their connected green stronger when they met. Quinn calls Parker for help when she is in danger. He, Charlie, and the new Delta teams saved her. I love their happily ever after. It was well earned! I can’t wait to see what adventures the Delta series will bring.

You can run from your past, but you can't always hide from it. Quinn knows this all too well, between the messages that only mean something to her, to finally an intruder in her home. Who do you turn to when it all hits the fan?
Parker knows how lonely it can be at the top. His only bright spot, besides his "sister" Sydnee, is his online gamer friend Jinx. She doesn't want anything from him and likes him for himself. But when she's in trouble and goes silent for a month he comes to the realization that she's come to mean more to him than he's allowed himself to think about. But when the unthinkable happens and Quinn is kidnapped will Parker get her back to have their happily ever after?

Excellent

It's funny, it's seemingly the books I'm not sure about that I end up loving.
Great story. The character developement was excellent. Parker and Quinn were perfect for each other. The crescendo was perfect. The tempo and intensity was stellar. I fell in love with Parker, who just wanted a woman to want him for him not his fame or bank acct, and sweet Quinn just wanted something she could trust, something real and true.
The way AB had them meet and re-meet, for Quinns safety...and their love story. Def a favorite.

Looking forward to the Echo team stories. Keep em coming!

Another Great book by Anna Blakely! I know my words will not do this story justice but believe me when I say that Parker just became my favorite hero. Quinn is a character that drew you in from page one and you could not help but root for her. And the parker we come to love in Ashers story is the perfect man. This story was well worth the time and it is on my reread stack. I can not say enough about how great this book is. I highly recommend all the R.I.S.C series from the beginning to get the full benefit of this wonderful author. Great job Anna

Bye bye Charlie team

Last book for Charlie team but delta team is next. This book was based around Parker who is not Charlie team (why is there only five guys?Isn't teams six plus trace was already with Emma so his story was short in another season) Parker is a friend of theirs. But really this book was showing you delta team in Chicago who helps him at the beginning and shows up later at the river. Both Charlie team and delta are new Jake needed more teams for work load and rather then run all over the place set them up in different places.

Parker Collins is a video game designer and a billionaire.
Quinn”Jinx” Wilder is a former hacker.

Quinn and Parker meet on line (video gaming) and the attraction between the two is a slow burn to explosive.

Quinn needs help and the one person she calls to help and trust to stop the threats aimed (/about her past).

Can they accomplish this and still have A Happily Ever After?
You will have to read the book.

This is a great read it has suspense, intrigue, lots of action, page turner, and wonderful characters.

This was a great addition to the series. Although Parker wasn't a real member of the R.I.S.C Team he has helped out in the past. Now he needs help and he calls on his friends. Once you start reading you can't put it down. Lots of action, mystery and suspense. I love all of these guys from the RISC Team and their women. Can't wait to see what comes next.

Determine!

Parker: He never wanted a relationship. They were friends or he just found a women to full around with. He didn't believe in forever. Parker had a gaming buddy name Jinxed, who he enjoyed chatting with and playing computer games. Parker was curious about her and wanted to meet her but didn't want to come out and say anything. Then she need help but he didn't put two and two together yet. It was an amazing story!

Wow! Another FANTASTIC story by Anna! It was great to see all of the Charlie Team involved. Parker and Quinn are definitely an exciting couple. It's interesting that both basically met online while gaming. Quinn is brave in her own right. It definitely gets intense towards the end and it puts you on the edge of your seat. It's amazing how two people finally confess their love for each other. Glad Oreo was found. FANTASTIC job Anna! I would recommend this book.

Great ending to this series!

Parker was an unexpected book, but when we met Parker in Asher's book, you absolutely knew he needed his own book. Anna really out did herself with Parker, it had friendship's, love, HEA, twists and turns and of course suspense. It was well worth the wait. I would recommend this book or anything Anna writes is absolutely great and you will fall in love with all her characters. Great great book!

This is a Romantic Suspense, and this is the 5th book in the R.I.S.C. Charlie Team series. I have read the first four books in this series before picking up this book, but you can read this book as a standalone. I enjoyed reading this book and the characters in this book. This book is Parker's story. Parker shows up in several of the other books in this series, but he is not part of R.I.S.C.. I really enjoyed this book and this story.

Parker

Parker is not part of a R.I.S.C. team but he has really close ties to R.I.S.C. and the CIA and Homeland. Parker met Jinx playing an online game late at night. They got to talking online and off but had never met. When Jinx mysteriously bugs out one night while talking with Parker he becomes very worried and could not find her - that is until she calls in a panic one night begging for help. Changes and trouble coming after that call make for a great read!

Amazing story! After reading the other R.I.S.C. Charlie team books, I was excited to get to know Parker better. Quinn was a perfect match for Parker. They are both able to be themselves with each other which is what we all want. There is lots of action and character building and some heat. I loved this book! This can be read as a stand-alone with no issues or confusion.
