Hale received an unexpected request to join Marsha McConaughey on a special mission. Only four of them would track a terrorist, with a history of blowing up American citizens. The bomber’s current plot was foiled, but, in the chaos, he escaped across the border into Canada, giving a middle-finger salute to the first set of cameras on the other side.
Marsha has been hunting assholes like this one for years. It’s wearing on her. This is her last job, but she’s determined to walk away on a success. This one means more to her than the others. This man took out several members of her team. She wants this asshole. Willingly chasing him into Canada is one thing, but into the backwoods of Prince Albert National Park is another thing altogether.
When the killing spree continues in Canada, the team is more determined than ever to stop this guy—before he kills anyone else—particularly the woman hunting him.

...she has been chasing The Ghost for years but Marsha struggles to trust Hale when he takes her into the wilds, completely out of her comfort zone or knowledge base. But as much as his cheerful, know-it-all attitude irritates and angers her, there is just something about him..... Marsha and Hale are not a couple you would ever put together but they work perfectly, mostly because Hale does what he needs to without permission or apology, he doesn't wait for orders, he makes a plan and implements it- no matter how much Marsha grumbles. I am sad that this is the final book for the moment, but look forward to the new spin off series.
I really enjoyed reading Seals of Honor Hale . Wow ! what a outstanding suspense romance . It takes off from the start . Hale was requested to be part of Marsha McConaughey 's mission to hunt and capture a terrorist known as Ghost . Ghost has been blowing up Americans . He has escaped of the border into Canada . Marsh is exhausted from hunting killers for years she's vowed to make this her last mission . With Hales help she wants to hunt and stop Ghost before he can kill more innocent people . While working close together Hale and Marsha find themselves catching feelings for one another . This story is sensational, action packed and Suspenseful . I highly recommend taking the time to read .
Hale Rodney is finishing up a course that includes the history of terrorist bombs. One in particular he recognizes the signature. This catches the eye of the instructor who later informs him he'll be joining a mission to catch this particular bomber.
Marsha McConaughey has been after this bomber, 'the ghost', for years. She came really close once and this time she's determined to get him. This is going to be her last case and she won't fail. Everything she had set up had to change when the ghost changed his location. He's now believed to be in Prince Albert, and Hale makes the observation that it's a good place to hide out, with the huge National Forest.
As they are traveling, Hale makes arrangements to pick up some camping and outdoor gear from his stepbrother. He wants to be prepared for anything at this point.
Marsha is shocked to find her men dead at the house she arranged for their stay. Hale immediately takes over with a contingency plan she had no idea he had. He grabs the groceries the men had bought and gets everything back into the truck. It's time to go hunting.
Hale takes them the long way around a popular campground, and they walk about five miles to the site he has in mind.
With each page the suspense rises, and both Marsha and Hale are feeling a bit of an attraction toward each other. Of course, this isn't the time to take action on that.
More death, the involvement of the RCMPs and plenty of hold your breath action as this tale unfolds.
I was sorry to read that this is likely the end of the SEALs of Honor series, although the author says we'll see some of our favorite characters in other series.
I love the electric interaction between Hale and Marsha, his boss on this mission. She seems rather prickly and makes sure he knows she is the boss and calling the shots.
Being thrown together on this particular man-hunt into the wilds of Prince Albert National Park to catch this killer, has many underlying undertones for both of them. Marsha has been after this particular killer for a long time and has everything under control until her team she and Hale are meeting is murdered.
This thrilling tale has elements of humor with Marsha not keen on trekking for miles following Hale through the forest with a heavy supply pack on her back as Hale looks for the perfect place to set up camp. They both are very aware of the intensity of their situation and not knowing where their killer, the Ghost, is lurking or if he has tracked them and could be lying in wait watching them.
This journey is full of life lessons, neither Hale or Marsha expect to bond and work as well together and be on the same wavelength knowing how deadly this guy is. I like how Hale grew to respect Marsha’s adaptability to her surroundings and her steadfast determination to catch and bring this killer in for justice. Marsha learned how to survive without the creature comforts of home as she voiced her opinion preferring glamping to the rugged area Hale has led her to.
Suspenseful, full of danger and fresh air of the great outdoors. I love the creative intensity throughout the hunt for the killer. It keeps you guessing and on edge the entire time. I love it! As always, there is a sweet HEA. Great story.
This is the 31st book in Dale Mayer's "SEALs of Honour" series and possibly the last, but boy, does it go out with a bang. Hale is intrigued when requested by Marsha McConoughey to help in her search for a killer, a killer known as Ghost because of his ability to be one step ahead of the authorities and to disappear, he was a bomber, possibly with military training who was targeting Americans, he had even taken out Marsha's team.....this was personal. Marsha had been tracking him for years, she had almost caught him once but he just gave her "the finger" and disappeared, she was beginning to feel burnout, she decided that this was to be her last case, she had to catch Ghost before more American lives were lost, deaths that she blamed herself for. When Ghost crossed the border into Canada and on to Prince Albert National Park, Hale was in his element, this was his territory, his grandfather was a native American and he had spent his childhood camping and tracking in the densely forested park. This story is a battle of wits, Hale and the Ghost each trying to predict what the other would do next. The suspense mounts, the body count escalates, Marsha has to bow to Hale's superior knowledge of the terrain, not always with good grace but the chemistry between to two soon becomes apparent and despite being a city girl Marsha falls in love with the beautiful forest and possibly with Hale. A great ending to the series.

Marsha is on a special mission to capture a terrorist who has blown up hundreds of American citizens. Since he had planted a bomb during her last mission that killed several members of her team, she is determined to stop him. However, the bomb is called “the Ghost” because he is impossible to find.
Hale has been sent by Mason to join Marsha’s covert op that she set up to search and capture the Ghost. Marsha, the team leader, is leading her small group into Canada where he was, reportedly, seen.
Her team consisted of Marsha, Hale and three other agents. Unfortunately, when they arrived at their secret hiding place in Canada, the three agents were already dead. Thus, Hale insists that, because of the extreme danger, he take over the leadership. As a former SEAL, he is an expert in safely tracking criminals.
Dale Mayer skillfully tells this story through the constant conversation between Hale and Marsha. Their conversation reveals their emotions and feelings as they embark on this dangerous operation to capture an evil man. The reader will notice a gradual change in their attitudes, about the op and each other. Their bitterness and distrust slowly changes over to respect and appreciation for each other’s strengths and skills.
Their banter and wordplay was amusing and always enjoyable to read. As a result, even though this mission was extremely dangerous and filled with many twists and turns, readers will have trouble putting down this exciting and riveting book!
This story NEVER lets up with its intensity and action! It was great the first half then retched up the second half to hold- your- breath; don’t- even-blink intensity. The story put me mentally in every scene with these brave warriors. Hale is a very serious Navy SEAL who has many secret missions under his belt. What sets him apart from his peers is his mastery of backwoods tracking. Hale has been recruited to form a team to hunt for an American terrorist bomber. The “Ghost” is responsible for the deaths of over 100 Americans and Intel shows he recently crossed into Canada’s Prince Albert National Park. That is right in Hale’s element, he knows this land well. There is just one glitch! The lead agent Marsha, a city gal, is coming to. Marsha has spent several years tracking this monster… she has come very close but the “Ghost” always seems to be one step ahead of the authorities. Marsha has lost several agents and she wants this murderer more than anything. She is out of her element in these backwoods. She is losing her edge. This will be her last job with the agency. Hale is trying to hunt “Ghost” and look after Marsha…it’s trying…because he’s developing feelings for this feisty, brave incredible woman. I LOVED THIS STORY! I received a free advanced copy from Booksprout and am so happy to leave my review. Linda
Hale has received a request to join Marsha McConaughey on a special mission to track a terrorist with a history of blowing up American citizens and has now escaped over the border to Canada. Marsha has hunted people like him for years but this is her last job plus he has taken out several members of her team and she is determined that it will be a success. They end up in the backwoods of Prince Albert National Park. When the killing spree continues in Canada, Hale is more determined than ever to stop this guy before he kills anyone else - particularly the woman hunting him.
I enjoyed this story with the determined Hale who is having to work for/with snarky Marsha as they try to chase and stop the terrorist known as Ghost. I enjoyed the chase and the mystery as to what the terrorist was currently working on or if he was resting. The relationship between Hale and Marsha was electric at times and it was interesting to see the way he tried to give her a reason to live so that they had a chance to explore what was happening between them. It was full of danger and drama and I was fully engaged in the story and whether they would find the terrorist.

This is the 31st book in Dale Mayer's "SEALs of Honour" series by an awesome author Dale Mayer. This is Hale and Marsha’s story. He is intrigued when requested by Marsha McConoughey to help in her search for a killer, a killer known as Ghost because of his ability to be Abe to just disappear. Marsha had been tracking him for years, she almost caught him once but he escaped and just disappeared, this will be her last case before she retires as she is feeling burnt out! She needs to finish this mission, it’s become personal and she needs to capture the Ghost before more American lives were lost. Now that Ghost has crossed the border into Canada and on to Prince Albert National Park, Hale was in his element, this was his territory, his grandfather was a native American and taught him everything about camping and tracking! This story has everything you could possibly want, it will keep you on the edge of your seat, turning toe pages quickly just to see what happens next! Will they get their man? Will they get their HEA? Great read.

Well, this was the last book in the series. And what a way to end it. This is an awesome series. This story is a romantic suspense. It is packed full of action with a few twists and turns. They're tracking a terrorist in Canada. Someone good at evading law enforcement. Someone who wants her dead as much as she wants him.
“Hale received an unexpected request to join Marsha McConaughey on a special mission”. Hale stared at her. Is there a particular reason you’re telling me this? “Yes.” She nodded. At her pause, Hale realized the room had more or less emptied. “Because you and three others are heading up to Canada to find him.”
“Marsha has been hunting monsters like this one for years. It’s wearing on her. This is her last job, but she’s determined to walk away on a success”. So she has solicited Hale’s help to take him down. “This is a covert op to track an American terrorist into Canada”. This could be a trap, but it's become personal. He knows I'm after him.
Hale by Dale Mayer SEALs of Honor Series Book Thirty-one Hale Rodney has been handpicked for a mission. They are after an American bomber who hates Americans and sells his bombs to the enemy. A man who has been on the loose for too many decades already. Hale plans on making sure this is the end of his terrorism. Marsha McConaughey is burned out from hunting down the bad guys. But she won’t leave her job until she finishes her work by stopping the Ghost. The one who has gotten away time and time again. The one who has the deaths of almost a hundred and fifty men on his hands. She has to finish this. After arriving in Canada, it doesn’t take long for Hale to see he needs to take over this mission. Hopefully, he can think more like the Ghost and figure out his moves. A real page-turner, as this killer is highly trained and hard to catch. **Mild sexual content and language https://justjudysjumbles.blogspot.com...
Wow 31 books in this awesome series SEALs kof honour by dale Mayer. This being the last of of them BUT no author can say it's a definite end, especially if the characters talk to you.
Hale has been recruited to help Marsha catch the killer who likes to kill Americans. She has spent some time looking for him after he killed her team. Jumping over the border, the killer along with Hales and Marsha tracking him, take the game to a forest. Although there is a body count, it just keeps getting higher.
The thing about these books from Dale are they always guarantee to have you on the edge of your seat, hoping the main characters aren't picked off by the baddie and others will survive. We are taken on a rollercoaster ride of emotions, suspense and action. You can read this series as stand alone for all the books but I find it better to go in order so you know the characters. Till we meet again SEALs of honour but not goodbye.
Hale's book was full of action, danger, and suspense from the very beginning. It was full of intensity that did not level off until almost the very end.
Ghost prevailed for much longer than I expected. During the time Ghost was being hunted, Hale and Marsha's relationship went from slightly contentious, to respectful, to mutual attraction.
I read Hale in one sitting. I would have liked to revisit Whiskey and Scott for an update. Should Mason have gotten an update? What about Marsha's superiors? Hale and Marsha's final decisions didn't seem to fit in with the whole team vibe. At least it didn't seem that way to me.
My understanding is that Hale is the potentially the last book in the SEAL's of Honor series. I thought the book was entertaining yet anticlimactic.
I voluntarily read and reviewed the Advanced Reader Copy of this book received via Booksprout.
Marsha is on the hunt for a killer who has taken out part of her team. She has searched for killers before but this one is personal and also she has decided it will be her last journey of this sort. She may be too focused but Hale has been sent to partner with her and he might be able to help. She is not ready for help so the story begins. Difficult to put this book down as these two search for answers and are in a difficult chase. At times the killer seems to know more about where she and Hale are located than they know about him. Well done and since I read it so fast to find out what happened, I will no doubt read it again just for pleasure.

Marsha needs the best for her final job which is taking down a dangerous killer who only targets Americans, Hale is part of that team and before you know it it is just the two of them hunting the killer while he hunts them. The tension and danger is heightened with everything being situated within Prince Albert National Park the trees hide you from people and people from you. Trust is hard to accept and even when you think they are ok you still have an under current of distrust. This is the perfect mix of slow burn attraction, danger, action and can n mouse leaving you holding your breath waiting on how things will pan out!.

I think it is rare to find an author that continues to pull you with stories that keep getting better, but Dale does that with each of her new releases! Her writing stays true to her style, but gives us a fresh storyline and characters. I have fallen in love with all her books and the couples she writes about. She always manages to hit all the feelings in a good way. Hale was a definite page turner that had me wanting to get answers but at the same time trying to take my time because I didn’t want this book to end. The book keeps you interested from beginning to end. It's everything that we have come to love when Dale writes a book. My favourite book I’ve read this year. Definitely put this at the top of your reading list. Happy reading everyone
Marsha is resolute in her mission to finally track down a criminal known as the Ghost whose weapon of choice is explosives. She knows that she needs a special team and wants Hale to be part of it but their venture didn’t get off to a great start when the rest of the team is attacked and they find themselves trying to track a dangerous man before he tracks them.
Hale knows that he is prepared for the job both because of his experience with explosives and his knowledge of the terrain. The one thing he wasn’t prepared for was his attraction to Marsha as they find themselves searching for the man who has become quite the challenge.
Danger, intrigue and adventure as Marsha and Hale finds themselves working together to not only catch their suspect but protect each other as well.
When Hale joins Marsha on the hunt for a serial killer/bomber, he doesn’t expect for his outdoor survival and hunting skills to be heavily relied on in the Canadian wilderness. Marsh has been hunting for a man dubbed the Ghost, who takes great pleasure in letting Marsha know he is always a step or two ahead. Now that the two are on the trail of the Ghost, Hale knows his way around the national park and will do what it takes to keep Marsha safe….or can he. A good read with some suspense and good characters. Hale was patient and didn’t take Marsha’s “snappiness” to heart. The story flowed nicely with good descriptions, but I would have liked an epilogue on these two as well as an update on Scott and Whiskey. *I voluntarily read an advanced copy and expressed my honest opinion*
Hale is taking a bomb refresher course that Marsha is teaching. She asks him questions which he answer as much as he can.She calls Mason his boss to recommend someone for a temporary mission to catch a bomber that has crossed the border into Canada. He recommends a few people one being Hale who has no girlfriend,no family he's alone so if something happens at least she won't be responsible for destroying a family. She tells Hale he will be joining a team she has put together to catch a American terrorist set to destroy as many Americans as he can last count was one hundred forty her whole team from the last time they got close.Hale tells her he will help her catch this guy one way or another.I can hardly wait to see what's next by this multi talent author.
I'm not sure which government agency Marsha worked for but she is charge of tracking down a serial bomber and she needs one more member on her team. She got recommendations from Mason and she chose Navy Seal, Hale. She has been told the bomber was seen crossing the Canadian border so that is where her team is headed. Lots of gratuitous killing by the bomber has Marsha feeling responsible for their deaths as the bomber is try to get to her.
Hale has two step brothers living in the area so he knows the area which helps track down the bomber.
Interesting plot held my attention.

Oh I really enjoyed this fast-paced romantic suspense read, an entertaining read for me.
What I like: - The setting, it's in the forest so it's like survival in the forest, not that intense but I totally get the atmosphere - The last few chapters is pretty intense
What I don't like: - Marsha, I don't like her, she's so whiny, always snapping and kinda rude, everything has to be her way, she's very annoying, Hale deserved better than her. - Not really buying the romance part - Some doesn't make any sense
Recommended: If you're looking for a super fast romantic suspense read, try this one, not perfect but still entertaining
This book is a fast paced, intense, action packed, suspenseful romance and is part of the Seals of Honor series. Hale received an unexpected request to join Marsha McConaughey on a special mission. Only four of them would track a terrorist, with a history of blowing up American citizens. Marsha McConaughey has been after this bomber, 'the ghost', for years. She came really close once and this time she's determined to get him. While working close together Hale and Marsha find themselves falling for one another. The connection between Hale and Marsha grows as the hunt goes on. So much is at stake.
Marsha selected Hale to join her team for a covert op to take down a terrorist called the Ghost. Marsha is used to being in charge, but when their search takes Marsha and Hale to Prince Albert National Park, Marsha reluctantly relinquishes her control. While Marsha is out of her element in the forest, As a survivalist Hale is in his and takes lead of the op. While reading the book, the descriptions allow you to imagine yourself camping with them. While Marsha with the help of the RCMP take down the Ghost, I was a little disappointed that Hale wasn’t part of the action.

This exciting action packed suspense filled thriller will keep you on the edge of your seat. The characters are captivating. When taking a class on bombs Hale gets the instructors attention. She calls Mason for the use of Hale in bringing down an American terrorist that has killed a hundred and forty Americans so far. He's gone to Canada and she has Intel of where he's at.Will Hale help Marsha capture or kill the American terrorist know as the ghost?there are so many twists and turns to this story you will be riveted until the very last page and leave you begging for more.I can hardly wait to see what's next by this multi talented author.
This felt like being on a knife edge from the start to almost the end, the villain seemed to be everywhere and nowhere all at the same time, until he made a mistake. Hale was determined to catch him and keep Marsha safe but it wasn't easy. Suspense all the way with this read, it built right up to the climax which after all that was almost over before it started. Loved the characters and the plot certainly kept me going. Last book in the series but a new one starting soon so I'm still a happy reader. Tension galore.
The suspense and danger in this story are off the charts. Hale is part of a team that Marsha has put together to go after a terrorist bomber who is targeting Americans. He has been spotted in Canada so that is where the team heads. But when the bomber moves to Prince Albert National Part, Hale takes over as lead of the mission due to his skills. There is so much going on with them being off the grid and always being on guard against the bomber that the build up to their attraction is pretty subtle. There were some memorable secondary characters in this story also.
Hale works for Mason and is a Navy Seal. Marsha works for law enforcement.
Marsha has a bit of an attitude and is a little unprepared for wilderness. They were partnered together to catch a terrorist, who is killing people and hiding in the Canadian Wilderness.
Will they be able to catch this terrorist and have a relationship. You will have to read the book.
This book has suspense, intrigue, action packed, romance and drama and emotions.
Great Job Dale Mayer!!!!.

Hale is drawn into the chase to bring down the ghost a terrorist intent on killing Americans but now he is in Canada and Hale has been teamed with Marsha McConaughey. She has been hunting terrorists for years but the ghost is personal after all he has killed members of her team. Due to retire Marsha knows this could be her swan song but she is determined to bring hi down While Hale is deeply attracted to his new partner and wants to give her a new reason to live him. Can they succeed in their mission and can they build a future You will have to read to see
This is possibly the last in this series, but that's ok, the author will never stop writing these guys in one series or another. Hale's mission is to join Marsha on a terrorist hunt for a bomber. He's been seen to have crossed into Canada. After killing members of her team it becomes personal. Camping in the woods the hunt is on to find him before they're his next victims. There is a lot of action, death, shootings in this exciting story. Of course chemistry plays a part too with these two. Have they found their HEA?
Here is a SEAL who has been assigned to assist a woman who has been trying to catch a serial bomber. She is the only person alive to have seen him and still live. Hopefully this time she and her hand picked team will take him down. Hale has been picked for his ability to track down the enemy. Raised by someone who trained him in tracking along with his SEAL training he is better than most. Between the two of them they just might have a chance to end this enemy once and for all.
