I absolutely love this book! It's even better than the first! It was absolutely thrilling and I love getting to know the character Arek better, he is my dream man lol! I love all of the current themes of what's happening in the world woven into the story. The author Tessa Van Wade goes deep into the way the mind, fear, and subconscious work. She is a masterful storyteller! I re-read the first book in the series in one day before this one and discovered even more to the story than I picked up the first time around. I whipped through this book and couldn't put it down! I will be rereading this one too! Can't wait until book 3 is out and the movies. Love, love, love this book and the series!! 10,0000 stars!!!!!

I couldn’t wait for this book to finally come out, and it exceeded my expectations! Deep Trace picks up immediately where Out of the Shadows ends and quickly dives you into fast-paced action and romance paralleled with the supernatural. This book continues to build on the characters I so enjoyed from the first novel and pushes into provocatively deep themes. The author has done an incredible job continuing the story from the first book, and I cannot wait to see how everything plays out in the next one. To understand this book, it is imperative you read the first one. If you haven’t yet, make sure you do. Both books are hard to put down, so prepare to binge read! I seriously can’t wait for the third!!

What a ride! I totally loved book #2, and I can hardly wait for book #3! Deep Trace continues the adventure from Out of the Shadows, and the action rarely slows. In addition, I really like the depth of character we see in Remy and Arek. I find myself making comparisons to the Matrix... the thought-provoking revelations of the characters in the book drawing to mind my own understandings of the paradigms we hold of our world. Our humanity is so much more than a shallow life, and Tessa Wade taps into that ages-old adventure in the Velieri Uprising series. I'm excited for more!

Deep Trace will keep you riveted at every turn of the page until you reach the last one where you will wish for just one more!!! It is a very well written story that starts With Tessa’s first book “Out of the shadows” a must read as well That flows seamlessly with ever building layers leaving you on a cruel cliffhanger where this book picks back up… You will not be disappointed!!! It is the best written story I’ve read in a while and has impacted my life in ways few books have long after reading it! I can’t wait for the third book!!!

Deep Trace goes way deep! I’m talking deep psyche stuff…truly impressive how Tessa has taken on the human mind/spirit in this book and delved into her characters soul…literally. This second installment of the Velieri storyline picks up immediately after Book 1 and Remy re-emerges in the best way. Once again the fast pace action of this story makes a quick read but there are also themes that are thought-provoking and the writing is precise, well crafted, well edited. Loved it.

As a second book in a trilogy, it's better than the first( Out of the Shadows). Deep Trace will take you deep into mind control and how deceptive our own perceptions can be. With the help of family and friends can the Velieri overcome this psychological warfare? Deep Trace makes you want to dive into your own psych and find out what's been hiding in there. Tessa Van Wade is one of the best new authors today. Grab this series and start today!

If the first book took me for a ride, this book gave me the whole amusement park. Absolutely riveting from start to finish, I loved how much I fell in love with all the characters and the love they have for each other. The balance of frustration with those in power and the reminder of how much power there is in connection and community is what makes the dark side of this book feel somehow hopeful. I honestly think about this book every day since I’ve finished it, and will come back to read it again shortly. The themes are imperative, the writing is inclusive (not just of the world we live in but it’s not trying to prove anything - I felt invited in, I felt considered as a reader, that this story was for me AND the person sitting next to me - nothing too flowery or elusive), and the story is one that is as old as time and will never be irrelevant. I can’t wait to see what comes next.

Stop what you are doing and get this book (well, read the first one in the series first and quickly so you can read this one). From the first chapter, I was sucked in and didn’t want to put the book down. Tessa’s writing style quickly pulls me into her fictional world and I don’t want to leave! I love her characters, her descriptions and the way she weaves the story. I cannot wait for the third book in this series!
