Un bon 3,5. J’ai beaucoup aimé ce manga et je compte bien poursuivre la série.

WOW! This was nothing like I expected!
I'm not even sure where to start because I was instantly engaged, but I felt the more I saw Karou's struggle, the more I felt completely windswept and could not turn the pages fast enough! That's VERY uncommon for me when reading (especially how I even broke out in goosebumps!)
I felt the eery mystery of the tunnel and was impressed by Karou REALLY wanting to keep walking forward in the tunnel, but also having the courage(?) to turn around when he realized how long he was there (and remembering the effects that could have on him). As someone who had a dear family member that passed away too soon, Karou's emotions wrapped around me in a very realistic way. Though kudos to his best friend for telling him he's wayyyy more than a hollow telephone pole because that scene struck my heart.
I also really liked Hanashiro! She's an interesting character and liked how she was considered a genius by her peers instead of a weirdo due to how smart she is. Plus she is EXTREMELY brave because I don't really know many female characters who are willing to tumble with dangerous guys like she did. She's a brave one and was definitely surprised by her role later on!
I'm very curious as to where this series is going! I want to know more about the tunnel and how far Karou really is willing to go and if his wish will be met. This was definitely a surprise in how much I enjoyed this first volume!

Une histoire de deuil, de harcèlement, et de tunnel magique qui réaliserait possiblement les vœux. J’attends de voir le tome 2, ce premier tome pose la situation et je ne comprends pas trop la psychologie de la fille qui se retrouve aussi au milieu de cette histoire (elle est nouvelle elle est jolie et elle se bat contre ceux qui tentent de la harceler, ok à voir)

I’m so glad I picked this up on a whim!! I knew nothing about it but the cover and the summary on the back had me intrigued. It’s everything I never knew I wanted!! I was hooked by the first chapter. Such great storytelling, characters and art. I’m all in! This is a short series at 4 volumes. I’m so excited that the next volume is releasing in a few weeks!!

i didn’t realize that this was originally a light novel! anyways, this was a really good first volume, even if it does lean a little towards being a “setup” novel.

I was instantly in to the story from the first few pages. It was intriguing and I love the main character’s depth and story arc so far. I definitely can’t wait to hear more about some of the other characters and will be continuing this series. The art is stunning as well. 💕

J’avais ce premier tome que j’ai laissé traîner un peu trop longtemps dans ma PAL je trouve. Il était grand temps de le sortir et de dévorer ce premier tome qui m’intriguait énormément. Et bien je dois dire que je n’ai pas été déçue le moins du monde. J’ai adoré ma lecture, je l’ai trouvé palpitante, mystérieuse et tellement intéressante au final. J’ai le second tome avec moi et je sens que celui là ne va pas faire long feu et que je vais très très vite le dévorer!
Dans ce premier tome, un soir d’été, alors qu’il erre en pleine campagne, Kaoru Tôno tombe sur un étrange tunnel. Serait-ce le fameux passage d’Urashima, censé exaucer tous les souhaits ? L’adolescent est décidé à percer à jour ce secret pour faire revenir celle qui lui était le plus cher, jonglant entre les enquêtes secrètes et sa vie de timide lycéen… Kaoru est prêt à tout, mais quel sera le prix à payer pour activer les pouvoirs de ce lieu surnaturel ?
Ce premier tome, je l’ai trouvé tout simplement palpitant. Tout le long de ma lecture, je me suis posée des tas de questions. Cette histoire de tunnel est beaucoup trop intrigante et je veux en savoir plus. Pourquoi le temps ne passe t’il pas de la même manière… Vraiment très étrange et on veut toujours en savoir plus. J’ai beaucoup aimé le personnage de Kaoru. Son histoire m’a beaucoup touché, impossible d’être insensible à ce qu’il explique.. Ça m’a vraiment faire mal au coeur.. Par contre, le personnage de Hanashiro m’intrigue encore plus. Elle est tellement mystérieuse et j’avoue ne pas trop savoir quoi penser d’elle. On dirait qu’elle cache quelque chose et puis son comportement, il faut bien le dire, est très particulier pour le coup. À certains moments, j’ai eu du mal à comprendre sa façon de se comporter. Et puis même à la fin c’est perturbant. J’ai du mal à vraiment expliquer mais vraiment ce personnage m’intrigue au plus haut point. Je me pose beaucoup de questions à son sujet..
Un premier tome hyper intéressant à découvrir qui m’a vraiment beaucoup plu. Je suis très curieuse de découvrir ce que la suite nous réserve. J’espère avoir des réponses aux questions que je me pose parce que là! Je suis également très curieuse de voir là où l’histoire va nous mener mais en tout cas je suis impatiente de découvrir les autres tomes. Déjà le second est en ma possession alors je ne compte pas attendre trop longtemps avant de le dévorer celui ci!

In questo primo di quattro volumi (al momento sono già usciti i primi due e il terzo a breve), ci viene narrata la storia principalmente in via introduttiva a quella che sarà poi la trama primaria, tra diversi sbalzi di passato e presente della vita di Kaoru.
Nel suo paese una leggenda che riguarda il tunnel di Urashima dice che chi lo attraversa può realizzare qualunque desiderio in cambio della propria giovinezza.
Kaoru ha come grande desiderio quello di riavere sua sorella con sé, morta anni addietro, ma sa che queste sono solo sciocchezze almeno fino a quando un giorno a scuola non arriva una nuova compagna che sembra capirlo... e quando inaspettatamente finiscono nel tunnel...
Non vi dirò ovviamente altro!
Ultimamente, dai tempi di Your Name devo ammettere, in Italia stanno sbarcando sempre di più manga/film d'animazione su storie struggenti, drammatiche, ma cult di successo nel Sol Levante perché, diamine, sono veramente opere pazzesche!
Io vi dico, sono andata a vedere il film perché non potevo attendere l'uscita dei manga ahahah e quindi so già come va a finire ma non lo dirò, vi dico solo che è un must di emozioni forti, tanto forti, che colpiscono al cuore e che forse se non vuoi piangere non fa per te.
A parte ciò, lo consiglio assolutamente a tutti gli otaku!

El manga cuenta la leyenda de un túnel mágico que aparece de vez en cuando y que concede deseos a cambio del tiempo de la persona que solicita el deseo. La historia narra la perspectiva de 4 personajes y sus experiencias con el túnel.
Este primer volumen me sorprendió por la temática que tenía. Pensé que sería sólo fantasía, pero tiene temas intensos que le dan profundidad a los personajes y a la razón de querer conseguir un deseo del túnel. El personaje principal en este volumen perdió a su hermana pequeña y cuando llega la posibilidad de revertir esta situación gracias al túnel, no duda en utilizarlo, sin antes investigar más de este extraño fenómeno.
Lo recomiendo a quienes les guste la combinación de misterio, fantasía y drama.
Calificación: ⭐⭐⭐⭐(4)

The series with the longest title in my collection! This was an excellent introduction to this story and it’s characters. I’m very excited to continue reading this grounded fantasy/sci-fi. I can’t wait to see how the experiments around Urashima Tunnel go and if our characters can get what they most want. I love the art and am very glad that I was hearing the series was kind of like Your Name or Weathering with You. The Art from the covers does give that impression, but the story feels more akin to a better execution of something like Orange and I personally feel the art inside is quite endearing (more so than the covers so far).

Queste prime pagine ci mostrano due protagonisti all'apparenza molto diversi: Tono sembra un po' remissivo, mentre al contrario Hanashiro sembra una forza inarrestabile capace di tenere testa anche ai bulli.
Viene anche mostrato qualcosa del passato di Tono, soprattutto un evento che ha segnato
profondamente la sua vita.
La parte che più mi ha incuriosita è quella sul tunnel. È davvero un luogo dove si può avere quello che si vuole? Per ora ci sono stati degli indizi interessanti ...
PS : Da questa storia è stato anche creato un film d’animazione.

But the focus is Kaori, who has a past trauma, the death of his little sister. So when he discovers the tunnel that everyone talks about as an urban legend in which you can make a wish that will come true but ages you when you make it, Kaori goes in and time speeds up two weeks while it felt like he was there just a few hours.
The story is curiously thoughtful and I would want to see where it goes.
But the focus is Kaori, who has a past trauma, the death of his little sister. So far, this manga left me wanting more. I really connected with the love Tono had for his sister, and don’t get me started on Hanashiro. That girl has a spine made of steel.

In this serious romance series, two lonely high school students discover a magical tunnel which might be able to fulfill their deepest wishes, but where time is distorted such that a few minutes of time inside the tunnel equates to days of time in the real world. Together they must decide what parts of life are most important.

Fluent reading. Beautiful drawings, especially of the tunnel setting. Each character seems to have a sad and dark past that has shaped their personality. There is one who is submissive, one who is a bully and one who has an outstanding personality and reacts resolutely to harassment. I am curious to find out the secret of the tunnel and the motivation of each character.

Really promising start to the series. This is an extremely exposition heavy volume, but that's fine. I'd rather spend more time setting up exactly why the main character is so motivated instead of jumping straight in.

I am honestly really intrigued by where this will end up and I hope to read the rest of the story and will be on the look out for the other volumes next time I am in Barns and Noble! I want to know where the tunnel goes!
