After owning a business and experiencing considerable success, my husband and I got caught in the financial crisis and lost everything in 2008; our business, our home, even our car.
At this point, I put my B.A. in Poly Sci to use and took work as a waitress and bartender (Insert irony). Unwilling to give up on a professional life, I simultaneously went back to college and obtained a degree in Energy Management.
And then the energy market dropped off.
And then my dog died.
I can only be grateful for this series of unfortunate events, for, with nothing to lose and completely demoralized, I sat down and began to write the romance novels which had until then, existed only my imagination.
After publishing over twenty novels now, with one having been nominated for RWA’s Distinguished ™RITA Award in 2019, I am happy to tell you that I have finally found my place in life.

Perfect Debutante
Louella Rose is the perfect debutante. Beautiful. Refined. The answer to all her family's woes. No one knows that beneath her flawless complexion, behind her mesmerizing eyes, she hides her pain in shame.
Cameron promised to marry the woman of his father's choice by the age of thirty and that time has finally come. To his surprise and delight, the chosen lady is the perfect debutante, for him anyhow, and he couldn't be happier until he discovers the scars that make no sense - scars that shatter the illusion of perfection.
I highly applaud the author for writing a book where the heroine cuts herself, it’s handled with huge sensitivity, however it made for a very emotional read. I found Louella at the very start to be a feather brain but that opinion changed immediately after her rescue from the boat. I loved Cameron from the start but when they arrived in London & he brought Louella a gift I was totally in pieces & I fell for him all over again. The story flows effortlessly & is a lovely love story of shame and guilt but most of all of understanding. My heart bled for Louella but then rejoiced when she spoke to Luke. I only hope Olivia's story isn't as heart wrenching.

Their flirtatious attachment threatens to erupt in passion, but duty and honour forbid anything more.
Well she’s done it yet again! Each time I read one of the author's books I wonder if it will be up to the high, high standard of her previous books & each time it is. Another lovely read, this is the second book in the series & yes it could be read on its own but characters & events do overlap. I laughed at squatting in bushes, I cried several times, I was angry at Olivia’s despicable parents & very happy how everything was resolved. I’m curious to know if Crestwood & Eliza meet again & if so the outcome. I loved Gabriel & Olivia & how their relationship developed with its ups & downs. The pace flow effortlessly & the pages just flew by. I’d highly recommend this book & all the author’s other books

We first met Eliza in the Not So Saintly Sisters Series, she worked so hard for her brother Thomas' parish & had been invited to a house party by her best friend Olivia Countess of Kingsley. On the way there she meets Henry Fairchild Baron Crestwood & his two children who are also going to the house party. An old scandal and betrayal is revisited. Strong characters & an emotional story of learning to forgive, to understand & move on – I just loved it & read it in two sittings

An amazing collection of three stories that will keep you captivated for hours! Annabelle Anders is one of my favorite authors and she writes to the heart!
The Perfect Debutante
A compelling historical romance that has all the elements to make this story captivating. Everything this author writes is exceptional and this one really pulled at my emotions. It pulled at my heart with a subject that is hardly ever discussed is brought to the forefront and it really made me have a better understanding all around.
You see the perfect debutante felt anything but perfect. Beautiful beyond compare, well mannered and smart Louella appeared to be everything, especially the answer to her family's need for money by an arranged marriage. But underneath she was tortured and had the need to cut herself to get relief.
Cameron, Captain Lord Stanton knew her from their childhood and when he came home after being in the war and gone, he had to face the promise he had made his father. To marry the woman of his choosing and that was Louella. His father only looked to gain a treasure from the land Louella's family owned in exchange for a large sum of money when she married his son.
There was so much in this story that will pull you through an array of emotions, not the least of guilt, regrets, hope and the chance of love. Cameron had his own devils to deal with and he tries to help her as well. But I loved these two so much!
I wanted to get the words just right on this review so that a new reader would want to pick up this book immediately. All I can say is this story will stay with me for a long while and is one of the best I have read so far this year. That is what makes this writer memorable and I encourage you to experience it yourself!

Perfection!! Oh yes, delightful and the beginning was so humorous, but with a heavy sigh that made me fall in love with Grabriel and Olivia! If you read the first book in the series, you know of Olivia's problems as her parents and society seems to banish her due to her imperfection of a lazy eye. She has grown into a beautiful woman, inside and out, but has relagated herself to being a spinster because no man will have her and she has stayed almost hidden away at her parents home. Fortunately fate steps in and she meets (or rather he comes upon her in the garden at her sisters premarriage ball, oh yes I could only grin like a cheshire cat!) Gabriel Fellows, Earl of Kingsley who she had know in her youth. But he had teased her as well due to her lazy eye and she had never forgotten it. But magic began to happen, when at first he did not know who she was due to the darkness and they began to dance in the gazebo. Of yes romantic, until her father found her and pulled her away to attend to her sister. It was Olivia all grown up! But the attraction was there and as she and Gabriel spent time together, he truly was healing to her with his sweet teasing and banter. Oh yes, I loved this guy.
I truly could not read this book fast enough, although I really never wanted it to end! Annabelle Anders has a magical way with words and her imagination knows no bounds! I had to stay up late to finish, but what is more important? Sleep or a story by this fabulous author? No contest on that one.. This one just made my heart sigh and I know I will be reading it again!!

What better time to forgive old hurts and reconnect? Eliza has not seen Henry in twelve years and now to be faced with him after how they parted so long ago. But as they spend time together and Henry let's her know what happened it seems they may get a happy ever after!! Loved this story. Perfect!

The Perfect Spinster-4 stars-Olivia has been shunned by her parents, and with her sister marrying, her one support is gone. Her lazy eye has made her the victim of the ton’s cruelty, so she lives in a cottage with her maid. Gabriel finds Livvie to be beautiful and unique. She flaunts society’s rules, and yet, she’s hidden away due her father’s superstition about her having a curse.
They form a friendship while he’s overseeing a mine for his friend, who’s off on his honeymoon. Their feelings survive, through a collapsed mine, Gabriel’s sister being kidnapped, and his betrothal from childhood.
I like this book much better. Olivia is a strong character, and learns to accept herself as she is, with Gabriel’s love proving to her she is not cursed.
The Perfect Christmas-3 stars-Eliza and Henry made a mistake one night 12 years ago. But, they did need each other and fall in love, even though they each suffered in their lives.

The Perfect Debutante...
A wonderfully written, engaging, romantic and emotional story of Louella and Lord Cameron Stanton. Louella is the perfect and beautiful debutante on the outside but inside she is hiding feelings of guilt and unworthiness. Cameron is a wonderful character and goes through all the emotions of anger, confusion but most of all compassion and understanding for his wife.

An enjoyable and heart warming regency romance. I love how this is about perfection found in imperfections, and how friendship can develop into a true love.

A wonderfully written, engaging, romantic and emotional story of Louella and Lord Cameron Stanton. Louella is the perfect and beautiful debutante on the outside but inside she is hiding feelings of guilt and unworthiness. These three stories offers the reader insight into the minds of the people living in the 19th century who dealt with, or for lack thereof, didn't deal with anomalies that are now common in today's society. In the first story, cutting, a mental health disorder is written tactfully into the story-line. This disorder is usually hidden by the person who suffers from it. Likewise, this is typically done to soothe anxieties that plagues the mind of the one suffering. A sense of self-help, if you will. In the second story, lazy eye or amblyopia a medical anomaly is addressed. A child is usually born with this due to a breakdown of functionality between the brain and the eye. If not treated, the weak eye has the potential of loosing sight altogether. And last, a story, that deals with one's spiritual journey and moral values. It is about listening, understanding, coming to terms with one's past and ultimately forgiveness; both of one's shelf and others. This last story was sweet, touching, and often times humorous. A beautiful lesson to learn and to make part of your life. I highly recommend this beautiful set of novels.

Nice read
A complete read of the lives of 3 women whose lives intertwined and the end of each of their happy ever after.

An awesome read!
This box set of books were a great read, each story was an emotional rollercoaster. I enjoyed reading them and getting to know the characters and watching them grow to love one another. I highly recommend this book! 👍👍👍👍❤❤❤❤
