This was another one in our executive team’s book club. While the approach can be a little egotistical (“I walked in the room and immediately knew what was wrong with this company”), the concept underlying it is great. The language of trying to achieve predictable success, calling out when something feels like it has slipped into the chaos of whitewater or the slog of treadmill, has become a part of our company’s vocabulary.
