Gracias :)
This is another transmigration novel where our MC Ye Shaoyang got into an accident then woke up in a parallel ABO world.
This is an esport themed book. World building is amazing. This is jargon heavy, so if you are not into or not familiar with any MOBA game, this will be a boring read for you. Special matches are very detailed and lots of technical and game related terminologies are used. It wasn't even explained so you at least need a background on any MOBA game to enjoy this one. Fortunately, though I only play casually, I still have a bit of a background so I really enjoyed reading this one.😁
The author created a fictional game with lots of heroes and skills and multiple comps that just this realistic and detailed game already deserved a 5 star rating for me. The tactics and the action packed matches were really amazing and well done in my opinion.👍
This took me about 3 days to finish. Goodreads said that it has 227 pages but the truth is that it has 227 CHAPTERS. The main story of this one is already fully translated but the extra chapters are not yet done. I actually read an mtl version of the extra chapters, it was hard but I managed to finish it.😆
The romance is not the central focus of the story but the main couple's road to the world championship. Though the romance part is funny and also cute which I also like.❤
The secondary characters are quite fleshed out, especially their teammates. I like them too.👍 The fan interactions and comments are funny and made the story more interesting for me.😁
Highly recommended for fans of esports centered light novels.❤👍
....
Y ya. Esperabas mas?
Osea no me quejo.
No mana, NO MANA
Y LUEGO
The sun and moon are too tacit. It's really the best partner 🤜🤛 Sun and moon shine together ❤️ ☀️🌙 Yang Yang really knows how to anger the opponent to death. All he has to do is smile ^_^ 5v1 is the true VIP treatment The battle can be lost, but Lieyang must die Lighting a candle for everyone who has been traumatised by the cute demon king🕯 Every chapter, I must take notes to learn how to play the tower pushing game ✍️🙇♀️
I gotta say, I really enjoy esports novels. It's been a while since I read one, so I was pretty excited to start this one, and it didn't disappoint. It has all the elements I enjoy in an esports novel, from really good team camaderie, to entertaining comments from online fans, to the MC face slapping his naysayers through his strength. This novel has the added component of being set in an ABO world and the hilarity that comes along with it, when our completely clueless MC asks the ML, the team captain, for a temporary mark without knowing what that implies XP
The MC is Ye Shaoyang, a professional LOL player whose team was one step away from winning the world championships. Right after their loss, the MC dies and wakes up transmigrated into an ABO world where a different game called God Wars is popular. Initially he's super confused by what's going on, but his goal remains the same - to join a pro team and win the world championships in this new world. To achieve this goal, he spends a lot of time initially learning the game and a new set of mid lane heroes while doing everything he can to attract the attention of the pro teams as a newbie streamer.
Eventually he catches the attention of the ML, Chi Shuo, who is captain of the Tianhuan Squad. Due to their amazing synergy after queueing together a couple of times, the ML realizes he's discovered an amazing gem of a player and fights for the MC to be signed onto the team as a starting player, which is almost unheard of for a rookie. The rest of the story follows their team as they slowly fight their way up and regain their reputation as a powerhouse in the domestic and international stage.
**Warning: Spoilers Ahead**
I really enjoyed the story. However, the romance, while not a huge part of the story, was a bit annoying. The MC's complete obliviousness to his captain's feelings for him got old after a while, as did the way the MC kept going on and on about how he was a straight man that was bent by the ML once they do get together.
There were some funny moments due to the premise though, such as when the MC realizes exactly what it means for him to ask his captain to give him a temporary mark and dies of embarrassment when he equates it to a handjob, or when all the online netizens call him a scum omega for playing with his alpha's feelings XP
The author spends a lot of time going into the details of certain important matches. While it was perhaps a bit too much for me as a non-gamer, I really enjoyed seeing all the creative lineups the Tianhuan team are able to pull off due to the amazing synergy not just between the MC and ML (mid laner and jungler), but also between the MC and the support i.e. the former mid laner, or between the MC and the fastly improving rookie / marksmen on their team.
Because the MC's hero pool is so deep and their team strategies sometimes very unconventional, it gave the opposing coaches a headache in the BP phase as they're trying to figure out which hero the mid laner is going to take XP The lineups that stand out to me after reading was the flying duo, where the MC and ML fly all over the map to quickly pick off enemies, and any lineups featuring a set up where one hooks in the enemy and the other finishes him off. They were really good at that too hehe
What I liked about this story was watching their team noticeably improve. When the MC first joins, the previous mid laner was moved to support and there was a rookie player from their second team who switched from jungler to marksmen, so lots of positions were played by players who are new to their position. That means the whole team needs to work hard to improve their overall team synergy. From the top laner who deepens his hero pool to the rookie marksmen who learns to withstand pressure in bot, the author writes their transformation from a deteriorating team to world champion in a very believable way.
Something else I enjoyed was how the MC relieves pressure from the ML. Once the MC joins the team, the team changes their strategies drastically from a single core to a double core team. Before, the ML was constantly targeted hard in the jungle, but after the MC joins, he takes a lot of the pressure off the ML. It was really nice to see the ML's wild jungle style come out again on the world stage after being sealed for many years, and it's the MC who enabled that to happen. Pretty much they're the perfect partners. Perhaps the author did lay it on a bit thick with their instant tacit understanding and also their 100% pheromone match, but it was fun to read!
Other things I found amusing:
The way Zhao Xinan constantly berates himself for digging up a treasure and then sending it straight to Chi Suo and the Tianhuan team XP
The ML and his friend Fang Zhengqing's complete lack of tacit understanding. Every time FZQ's coach suggested that the Sunshine and Moonshine players were the MC and ML, FZQ talked him out of the idea himself lol
Their CP fans enjoying all the sugar in their super forum, including their team members who joined using their alt accounts
The way the Tianhuan team got revenge on another team for using online smear tactics against the MC was for the MC to crush them using the Goddess of Destiny hero and hearing her line - "This is destiny, do not attempt to resist."
Here are some scenes from the story I enjoyed:
the ML sees something different in the MC right from the start
Chi Shuo looked away and said in a firm voice, "This person is the best partner in my heart."
"You've played against him before?"
Chi Shuo: "No, we've only played a few duos."
Coach Xu: "Then how can you be sure that he's your best partner? Don't tell me it's based on your feelings! "
It was based on his feelings.
Some feelings were indescribable. It was only a few duos, but that strange tacit understanding and telepathy was something Chi Shuo had rarely experienced before.
The two of them had the same understanding of the game.
They didn't need to speak to understand each other's thoughts.
More importantly, Xiao Bai was like a sharp knife that pierced into the professional league from the outside world.
He wasn't afraid of anything.
He was willing to try, to break through, and to innovate.
---------
Chi Shuo was waiting outside the door when he suddenly saw the nurse come out with a kind smile. "Sir, please come with me. Ye Shaoyang has become an Omega and needs your help."
Chi Shuo was speechless.
This sentence was like a clap of thunder that exploded in Chi Shuo's mind.
Omega? Are you kidding me?!
Chi Shuo regained his senses, but he did not know what to say.
Where was his Alpha teammate?!
Why did an Alpha suddenly turn into an Omega?
Ye Shaoyang quickly said, "The doctor said that I'm allergic to inhibitors. You're the only one who can help me now. "
Chi Shuo's tone was stiff. "I … How can I help you?"
Ye Shaoyang suddenly stood up from the sofa. He walked slowly to Chi Shuo, turned around, and pointed to the back of his neck. "I'll give you a temporary mark. Bite me, thank you."
Chi Shuo, "?????"
Chi Shuo could no longer maintain his calm, and his expression instantly collapsed.
---------
everyone is trying to guess who Sunshine and Moonshine are on the international servers XP
"The two of them have good chemistry. Which country's masters are they from?"
Fang Zhengqing stroked the cat as he opened the chat log. "They've been analyzing in the group for a long time. The Europeans think they're from America, the Americans think they're from Korea, and the Koreans think they're from China. Zhou Jiawen said that our country's esports players don't wake up this early."
--------
the misunderstanding is hilarious. ML marked MC in his own home for the second time and mistook that MC is interested romantically in him. 100% not on the same page when it comes to their feelings XP
Chi Shuo began to cook, and Ye Shaoyang helped wash the vegetables.
Going to the house to mark the Omega, staying at the Omega's house to cook together …
This way of getting along was almost like a newlywed couple.
Chi Shuo's heartbeat suddenly went out of control. He even thought that it would be good to marry an Omega like this.
They usually played games together, and they had a lot in common. When they were free, they could play with the cat and cook together. Their married life would be very warm, right?
Ye Shaoyang didn't expect Chi Shuo to be thinking about married life.
In his opinion, his good friend came to help him. Knowing how to cook? Then they would cook and eat together.
--------
Especially Zhao Xin’an. Resisting the urge to bang his head against the wall, he grumbled, “I really don’t understand. Qu Jiang and Chi Shuo played together for three years and never had this kind of synergy. Xiao Bai has only known Chi Shuo for a few days—how can they be this in sync? Is it logical? Is it scientific?!”
Zhao Xinping said coldly, “It’s not logical. And you discovering Xiao Bai and sending his video to the group chat was even less logical.”
Zhao Xin’an: “…”
That hit where it hurt. From now on, every time they played a match, it would feel like a knife to his heart.
---------
Shaoyang was his light.
He was the one who finally let him retrieve the confident Chi Shuo from Season 6.
Chi Shuo didn’t know how to describe this feeling. He had met a mid-laner who could keep up with his rhythm at any time, trusted him, understood him, and supported him unconditionally. How lucky was he to have met such a wonderful Shaoyang?
Previously, he had always thought his strange thoughts about Ye Shaoyang were due to the accidental temporary marking—physiological reasons, pheromones. But now it seemed his appreciation and liking for Ye Shaoyang truly came from the heart.
The marking had been over two months ago, and the scent of pheromones had long vanished. But now, looking at the smiling person in front of him, his heart still raced uncontrollably, and he still felt a strong possessiveness.
Chi Shuo finally understood. He was moved by Shaoyang not because Shaoyang was an Omega, and it had nothing to do with the marking. It was because Shaoyang was the person who understood him best in the whole world, a unique existence…
He was the soulmate he had been dreaming of.
--------
haha the revenge plan using goddess of destiny is working beautifully
In this 5v5 team fight in the Mid lane, Yu’mao died suddenly again.
Ye Shaoyang and Chi Shu kept a close eye on him. As long as he dared to snipe, the two could immediately find his position, bypass the support’s protection, and tower dive to kill him!
——This is destiny, do not attempt to resist. ——Did you think you could escape?
After the Tianhuan Mid-Jungle duo tower-dived and deleted Yu’mao, they split the tower aggro and retreated quickly.
Meanwhile, Tianhuan’s Cheng Xing had his health fully healed again.
Yu’mao: “…”
--------
Coach Chen complained frantically in his heart. Previously, a pair of mysterious experts, Sunshine and Moonlight, appeared on the international server playing the Black and White Wolf-Fox. He guessed at the time that Moonlight was Chi Shuo. As a result, Fang Zhengqing said with absolute certainty: “Chi Shuo doesn’t play Wolf King, it’s impossible for him to use such an obvious name for a smurf account, and Chi Shuo never gets up early.”
Since Fang Zhengqing said so—then didn’t that mean it must be, definitely was Chi Shuo!
It was his own fault for not learning the reverse elimination method at the time.
--------
LOL
Cheng Xing sat cross-legged on the bed, frantically sending private messages with Qu Jiang: “Brother Qu, Brother Qu, don’t you think something is wrong with my Master and Brother Yang?”
Qu Jiang: “What’s wrong?”
Cheng Xing scratched his hair in distress and said: “Just, when they look at each other, when they hug, it feels like no one else can get a word in.”
Qu Jiang sent a row of sad emojis: “You just realized?”
Cheng Xing: “Huh?”
Qu Jiang sent a row of emojis covering their mouths and laughing, saying: “Old Qin and I are both Level 7 check-in members of the #SunAndMoonShineTogether# Super Topic.”
Cheng Xing: “What?!”
Qu Jiang threw a Super Topic link to Cheng Xing. Cheng Xing clicked in, and his worldview shattered instantly.
Damn! Master and Brother Yang actually had CP fans long ago, and the fans’ imaginations are as if it were real.
--------
Qu Jiang: “They were a good match before, and now that Yang-yang has won the World Solo Championship, it’s a divine romance between two world champions. Even their trophies are a pair.”
Cheng Xing nodded frantically: “Exactly! What do those CPs who show off with couple clothes and couple phones amount to? My master and my Brother Yang can show off their love with World Champion couple trophies—now that’s impressive!”
Qu Jiang: “…”
---------
lol I love their flexibility!
Netizens in the livestream chat also lamented—
[Coaches facing Tianhuan must be dying of headaches!]
[Tianhuan picks a marksman—is it Xiao Xing or Yangyang playing?]
[Tianhuan picks a mid laner—is it Yangyang or Qu Jiang playing?]
[Swapping back and forth, just to keep you guessing!]
Satisfied the esports nerd in me. The details of the game in this book is amazing, a lot of new and unique heroes, although the translation sometimes makes things confusing, I’d say it’s quite manageable, until you get to the extras parallel universe (I skipped that, I mean it’s so confusing and unreadable).
Critiques are given when due though. The romance was super rushed, I didn’t even know how they got together since I felt like they had 0 chemistry at all?? And it was mostly just the alpha (I forgot his name) misunderstanding everything, and the omega accidentally initiating everything. I don’t even think the omega likes him? I think he’s just so confused but he didn’t care and just got into a relationship with the alpha because he kinda felt forced to? Anyways I didn’t even click with them but their dynamic when playing the game is very fun to read about!
The time skip makes me feel really nostalgic, like damn, you won the world championship one second and now you have a 16 year old child? I don’t know why big time skips just does this thing where I feel very sad, like I don’t want time to go by so quickly (ignore my yapping)
Would be a very good read to people that enjoys details of games, but if you solely read for the romance, then it’s not for you, go and read ‘I can do it’ instead!!
i really liked this one!! the focus is more on the games than the romance but i didn't mind it much bc the games were really intense.
i also rly liked the main character bc although he's an omega, he's very fierce while gaming and smart when coming up with tactics to beat the opponents.
took away 1 star bc the ending of the extras felt very rushed but the main story was great overall.
what a ride! this had been 200+ chapters of a journey.
i admire my patience for actually finishing this. i don't like esports in real life and my fascination with this genre had only been because of jiang zi bei's i can do it. but somehow, i enjoyed this one.
reading this reminded me a bit of watching haikyuu. i was able to see ye shaoyang's journey from being a streamer to being discovered by chi shou, his endless training and the whole circuit of competitions until world championship. and well...it was long. i guess one of my biggest critic was the pacing. the whole thing did reminded me of haikyuu but what made hq great was its fantastic pacing. which coincidentally was this book's biggest flaw. at the start of the novel, a lot of the games were very detailed. even the practice and for leisure ones. the semis were also very long that it had became tedious. honestly, i even skipped some because while i get the change of tactics and strategy building, it's just too much to me when that's all you get continously.
it's also obvious that the writer kind ran out of steam too because competitions that should've been more important was so much shorter than the former arcs. i wish the first one were trimmed a bit and the focus of detailed comps were done during the end arcs. that way it could've been more satisfying.
the main characters were also too OP. though a little bit suspension of disbelief will make you not mind it that much. the author took conscious effort to not make them too flawless and had also tried very hard to make the secondary characters more well-rounded too.
as for the romance...you won't really get much until the end and the extras and by the time you get there, things will move forward quickly. tbh, i won't rec this to anyone who is seeking to read a romance book because this is very much 95% esports and 5% romance. in my standards the romance is also very subpar. it still made me giggly and happy but not also that satisfying nor grand. it was like a little reward for going through 200+ chapters of enormous game worldbuilding.
lastly, if i get a dollar everytime they mention the word 'tacit' i'd probably be fine not working for a year. i'd be well-funded.

The novel was written pretty well, the author adopts competition format from RL MOBA competitions but devises a whole new game with original heroes. However, the novel is indeed pretty long and detailed. Readers who aren't that interested in MOBA games may not be that absorbed/ involved in the novel as the novel does kind of heavily describe the gameplay (about 2/3 of the novel). The remaining parts of the novel was mostly relationship building amongst the Chinese e-sports players with some description of players from overseas.
There isn't that much plot of face-slapping as the amount of antagonists compared to friendlies was almost negligible. Relationships was mostly wholesome and friendly, much like the novel Glory.
With the original heroes, author could devise unique combinations and gameplay which was pretty much quite numerous. However, with that the combinations you like may only be written once and you can say bye bye after reading about it in one game.
Unlike most novels where you see MC/ ML slowly improving and leveling up, this novel focuses on leveling up the side characters and the increase in coordination and cooperation between the members in MC and ML's team.
It was pretty fluffy and sweet but the novel is indeed a little draggy with the gameplay. I was so absorbed in the novel in the first 1/2 (?) but the interest slowly waned. Another minor complain is the lack of ABO characteristics in the novel....
worth a one time read, kinda wish it was a little shorter....
This book might not be everyone’s cup of tea because of how e-sports-focused it is, but honestly, the romance that we get after a long, thrilling game feels like a treat, and the detailed description of thr games also made each win more meaningful—especially for the world championships. I actually cried when they won because it felt like I was part of the team. I saw their determination, their constant practices, just to improve. I saw how their matches turned out, and how all of their plays changed. Each character developed after the end of the story, and the friendships were all well-written. Thank you to the author for this masterpiece. You’re a legend.

4.5 ⭐️ The main story is pretty much 90% detailed descriptions of the esports matches (sometimes even the BP phase alone can take up a whole chapter) and 10% romance + other things happening outside of the matches. I like reading about the games so I didn't mind it at first but after a certain point it started to fry my brain and I had to take a break 😂 Luckily the extra chapters focused more on the relationship development otherwise this would have been a 4 star rating from me.
Just a sweet, fluffy ABO novel mainly focus on 5vs5 game. If you wanna read more details about gaming and tournaments without much plots, this novel is definitely for you.
