Collapse is book two in the dystopian Collapse series By MJ Dees. A new world is out there! Jim and Annabel found themselves in a fight for survival against those who would take rather than create. They feel they are on their own! England is in a headed toward anarchy. No longer is there anyone in charge. Even their daughter Olivia has left them and headed off to create a commune. Not only has she left them but she is creating this commune with Jim’s political enemy. But Olivia is also crying for help and she has found herself under attack. Is their anyway for Jim and Anabel to survive. Can they find a way to fight for our history? Can they fight for our land? Our democracy? "This is a brilliant read ... well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start. Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believable. Great suspense and action with and wonderful world building. MJ is a talented and gifted author. I can’t wait to read the next novel in this series! I gave this honest, voluntary review after being given a free copy of the novel.

An excellent dystopian novel

This is an enjoyable but chilling read, you feel it could happen almost exactly this way. Set in a near future Britain where society has collapsed. The first half of the book follows on from the previous book and sets up the second half which covers the main character's life when the collapse happens. I know all I need to know about living off the land after this book. It is an engrossing chilling read well written with a few very strong characters. The picture the authors paints of this world is dark and tribal and cruel. I look forward to the story continuing. I received a complimentary copy from the Author and am leaving a honest voluntary review

The story showed a bleak picture of what this world could become if we use up our resource's without any renewal. This family didn't work together and instead pulled in different directions.
This was a very interesting story about what our future could be.
I will be looking for more by this author.
