OK, Marco is definitely my favourite.
I bloody adored this book. River has the tendency to piss me off in the most glorious way, Petal and Ev are the cutest couple ever, Kai is still an arsehole, although there's a little bit of me that might be thinking he's a little bit of a sweetheart really and as for CAG...what now?! What the flippety gibbet was that!!
I'm already sad, having to get ready to say goodbye to these characters. They've only been in my life a few months but they've definitely made an impact. December, and the penultimate installment can't come soon enough!

What? What the hell was that ending? You're seriously gonna leave us hanging like that?!
Of course you are, you pair of sadists, and of course I'm the masochist because I'm gonna keep coming back for more 😂
I don't even know where to start with this, we learn SO much in this book, so many secrets came to light but there's still so much more we don't know! The Brunette and The Blonde One gave us so much in this book but they also TOOK 😭 and that's all I'm gonna say about that.
I still roll my eyes everytime Kai opens his mouth 🙄 but I get it. Kinda 👀
And Marco... I'm fully #TeamMarco now, the way he won't let River go through anything alone, even when she's being her stubborn self and refuses to see what's right in front of her!

I'm simply thrown by the amount of curves and twists in this series. This book has the biggest plot twist so far. I've wanted to cry and scream for River while reading this one. We all know Freya is a horrible person and you will not find her redeemed in this book, however someone we grew to love does the unthinkable and just makes me glad that his character got exactly what he deserved. This book has made me fall in love with Lina and hope that she sets her own book after this.
So much detail had been put into this book and these characters. I absolutely can't wait for the next one to come out because I have no doubt I will drop everything and miss sleep until it's finished. The plot twist and curves in this book were absolutely amazing! This book is a 5 star read that you will regret not picking

What the What!
OMG 😱 I had Nathaniel as my book boyfriend in the last book!!!! Nooooo! I love when I don’t see a twist coming…well done to these two authors. But dang I’m still girl crushing on River. On to the next book, because I’m hooked! TW/18+

I wrote a review on my kindle on my phone and somehow it disappeared, so here I go again. This author has truly sent me on a journey with the FMC River aka Rose and all of her male clients aka encounters, etc. This one book pieced together a lot of what is going on with this list of characters. We find out first of all the connection between Tyler, Nathaniel and Marco...OMG. We find out that all three were childhood friends who hung out together and were rebellious for one reason or the other because of their family situations. We find out that Nathaniel's wife was Tyler's sister and that Nathaniel hung out with Lina and her friends. We find out that Nathaniel's mother had mental problems and have imposed her thoughts and fears on her son. Then I think what is being said is that Nathaniel's father maybe was one of Rose's clients, I think, I have to read that again after I finish the series. River finally lets her family know about her being an escort all this long time to take care of her family, especially her brother Ev and now his wife Petal. We find out why Kai was protecting Freya all this time. We , rather I am pulling for team River and Marco, I am hoping for eventually a happily ever after, I don't know what that means for them, but I am on their team, because it seems he is the only man who is truly strong enough to handle all of what is going on in her life. The characters in this book could have been characters in a soap opera. I am looking forward to it.

Listen. This series. It has me in a choke hold.
This is a six book series. This is book #4. You absolutely 1000% must read these books in order. But they go so fast you'll just want to keep reading. I literally read books 1 - 3 so fast then harassed the author until book 4 came out. Now I'm tapping my toes until book 5 comes out. So. friggin. good.
So here's how it goes. It's called The Escort Series because the main character gets paid for sex. But she's worked her way up the ladder and only meets with the elite. You get to meet her conquests in each book. Book 4 there is a twist of epic proportions that had me throwing my kindle at the author's friggin neck bone. I'm still butt hurt over it if I'm completely honest. This book is the sole reason I believe this dynamic author duo chooses to remain anonymous, simply going by The Blonde One and The Brunette One. In case you're wondering, The Blonde One is to blame for the roller coaster you go on in Book 4. So direct all comments to her.
Don't get it twisted, this is not just a book about sex, although the first page one book one will have your eyes bugging out of your head, there's a great story too. This escort is essentially living a double life. Her family doesn't know what she does for a living and she's worked very hard to protect her identity. You'll meet her family and fall in love with them. She dates a real person outside of her job. You meet some of her repeat "long standing" clients and fall in love with them too.
I don't know what else to say other than read it. Or don't. Until it's complete. Which is tentatively February 2023 but don't hold me to it. They've been releasing early. Either way, get this series on your TBR. Message me once you read book 4 and need someone to talk to. ;)

What kind of ending was that? So, The Broken One picks up where we left The Filthy One and we learn so much in this book. Secrets and lies are almost all exposed with this part of River’s story, including some things that I didn’t even realize were a potential secret or lie. However, there’s still conversations to be had by some and there is definitely some secrets and lies still out there. I’m super nervous what the truth will be and what the ramifications from keeping them and sharing them will be. River made so much progress in her personal journey this book, even if parts were painful she still found new ways to handle herself and she’s doing a better job than she did before Marco but there’s still tons of work for her to do. Along with being nervous over what is left robe uncovered, I’m also worried how River’s story will progress with two more books remaining, especially after that entire last chapter including that cliffhanger (thankfully not brutal, but certainly suspicious). However, I’m tentatively hopeful that the Blonde One & the Brunette One will ensure a version of HEA for her once we get River’s whole story.

It’s not often I’m completely shocked by a plot twist but The Broken One has done that and more. I honestly never saw that development coming. It’s a true WTF!!! moment. This writing duo doesn’t half believe in putting not only their characters but their readers as well through the wringer. River’s character is going from strength to strength even when her world is imploding but she’s like a Phoenix rising from the ashes. Still loving the River and Marco pairing. They are dynamite together and Petal and Everest have gone from being mildly annoying to surprisingly sweet especially when Petal shows her inner biatch but as for Kai and Freya….. well just saying Marco, cement shoes would look on them - I’m sure River would forgive you eventually.

Oh my God what a thrilling ride! The Broken One is the fourth book and is a brilliant addition to The Escort Series. It of course answers some questions and leaves you needing more. Also there is a huge plot twist that I did not see coming but it is utterly brilliant! If I HAD to pick a favorite it would be The Broken One, but they are all amazing and this series is literally one of the best I have ever read. Start this series now! Don't add it to your never ending TBR pile to be forgotten about. These co-authors are writing gold and I'm so glad to have discovered them at the beginning. And these books come out so quickly, you don't have to wait long for the next one!

River says she is broken but honestly I think that she is better than ever! This book had so many of the questions we had been asking answered but so many more have arisen. I cannot wait to see where River goes from here and with 2 books left, I am coveting a HEA for our girl, preferably with her hot as hell husband! 😍

Wow I was not expecting the huge Marco bomb but wow was it good! This book had me on the edge of my seat! I felt all the emotions within this book and am so curious and excited to see where this book turns next and how things are going to continue to play out!

So many things happen in this book, secrets are exposed, twists I never saw coming and that ending. That ending will leave you hangin on the edge of your seat needing more!!
River may feel like she’s broken, but her character growth is proof that she is fierce! I’ve been team Marco since the last book, 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘍𝘪𝘭𝘵𝘩𝘺 𝘖𝘯𝘦, and this only confirmed it.
River’s life gets turned upside down as secrets threaten to destroy and deceitful pasts are exposed. This book has suspense, angst, mystery, and is wonderfully captivating. Some how this series just keeps getting better, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed this whole series and can not wait for more!

This story just gets more twisted and more thrilling as we go along. Book 4 gives us some answers...some. I need more details and have no doubt we will get them in the next several books. I had high hopes for certain "ones" but this story is ever changing. Will River finally find that one person who fulfills everything she needs? Will Marco or Kai or Tyler or Nate destroy her or save her? Stay tuned!

Ugh! Marco is a dream!! This whole thing with Nathaniel is terrifying. It's a whole lot of crazy and somehow, River is in the middle of it all. Please, Marco, protect her. She's beautiful and amazing and deserves all the good!! I'm getting impatient for this ending because it's all coming to a head.

If I had been able to sit and read with uninterrupted time, I would've finished this book so fast! I'm 100% on board this Team Marco train. He isn't going anywhere and if River is as smart as I hope she is, she won't let that sweet, protective, strong man who loves her regardless of her past and does his best to protect her. River is now a badass business owner even though her double life exploded. I agree with Marco, Kai has got to go and what even kind of name is Kai anyway? I need the next one already and the only other thing I'm going to say is one down, one to go and if Marco isn't end game I will riot. Thank you for letting me ARC this book for you!

Just When I Thought . . .
I had thought I figured out where the story was going . . . but NOPE . . . I was wrong. People I thought I knew are not what they seem. Some ended up being bad . . really bad and others, well . . SWOON. I can’t believe how great this series is. It has me ensnarled in its web and won’t let me go. I am starting to worry about the book hangover I’m going to have when it finally ends. I can’t imagine not having another one of these books to turn to. I love, love, love these books and characters!

These books just keep getting better. What a series, what a plot. And why oh why does it keep me hanging on with who River will choose for end game? At this point if it’s not Marco I think I might quite possibly cry from the heartbreak from that alone. He is everything. Alphahole, possessive mmc, “that’s my wife” deliciousness and I just need him to get his HEA!

I did not expect this series to keep me on the edge of my seat…for real. I was literally SCREAMING when River decided to leave Marco behind (at least that’s what she was telling herself). I’m so happy for her though, that she had the strength to tell her family the truth! I did think her brother acted a little childish about the whole thing. She is/was a grown woman! She can do what she wants! But. I guess I do understand a little bit. Now, River is in the middle of a road that she needs to decide which way to take. In my mind, I think she needs to go back to Marco! He can help protect her and get her through this. I NEED to know what happens next. I’m about to buy this whole series so I can return to it whenever I want. I listened to it on the TEMPT app, and the whole series isn’t on there. But it’s SOOOO good that I WILL find a way to finish this out!

I absolutely love Marco for her, he's willing to do what it takes to keep her safe. Still hate Kai he is no Eros. Eros was willing to fight to keep Psyche. River is growing and her character is amazing! Can't wait to see where she goes from here.

Keeps getting better and better
Now I be read a lot of books this year but this series is literally a great page turner. Absolutely beautiful! Loved every instalment and can’t wait for the next.

I am loving Rivers story. It gets better and better with each book, as we learn more and more about her. The story is written well, as are each character. The twists this story takes will have you on the edge of your seat and begging for more. I loved it!

Anywho.. everyone needs a Marco. I know I definitely need a Marco. Going into this book I was definitely Team Nate.. there was just something sinister about the good Doctor that spoke directly to my vagina. Marco is hiding something from his wife.. I guess it’s safe to say he’s not the only one with secrets. I love River she is such a powerhouse but she harbors a darkness on the inside. This series is SoOOO good and I am counting down the days until the next one.

I love Marco and River in this book. Great chemistry. I like that there’s some edge and drama in it. It’s very unusual in a romance book. It’s a welcome change for me.

I went in blind otherwise and I was not prepared to be so emotionally invested !
I devoured this series and to reach book 5 and it’s not out ?! Devastated. You bet I’ll be on it the moment it comes out.
