Ang Jowa Kong Crosswise

Oh, you haven't seen the half of it...

Ang Jowa Kong Crosswise chronicles the life and times of Tomas and Leo, who are, for all intents and purposes, an unremarkably average couple in their mid-twenties... or so it would seem.

Tomas is actually a self-segmenting winged creature of the night, while Leo is, well, just Leo. Take an intimate peek into the mundanities of their relationship and watch as this extraordinary pair go through their very ordinary lives.

the title, concept, art style, story, characters - i loved everything about this
didn't plan on spending valentines day reading about a love story between a human and a self-segmenting, winged viscera-sucker but here we are and i don't regret it 😭

This is such a fun read. This was originally a series of random slice of life panels hosted on Penlab which I read months ago. I appreciated the effort to arrange it into a cohesive storyline and it works without taking away from the source's charm.

There are so many topics addressed here despite it being a short graphic novel. It is great to see queer love normalized in the life of Leo and Tomas in a fantastical and quite comical backdrop.

I can't wait for the continuation of this graphic novel series. Rooting for Sammie Rhose, too.

I had a great time reading this. Fun. Quirky. Naughty and creative. Tsambolero brings color to telling folklore tales in a unique and catchy slice-of-life genre.

Tomas and Leo, our very own Heartstopper with a crosswise.

I really enjoyed reading this graphic novel. The characters are really funny and super relatable. Kahit iyong pinaka main story. Hehe

Overall, I recommend this. Lalo na sa mga LGBTQ+ peeps out there and fans ng Heartstopper. ♥️

A wholesome and cute slice-of-life graphic novel that follows the relationship between a manananggal and a human. Recommended to Pinoy fans of the Heartstopper series and other similar works.

I really had fun reading this. It's funny, quirky, heartwarming, and calming all at the same time. I want more of their story and banter.
