I don’t know who I pissed off, but they’re closing in from all sides now.
It doesn’t matter where I go, my pack is being stalked by enemy prides, packs, and even flocks.
And the whole situation reeks of government corruption.
So it’s time to take matters into my own hands and sniff out the rat myself. But with Hazel Wise as my personal informant, the task is proving much more enjoyable than I’d anticipated.
Well, there were more battles in this book than any previous, so i guess it's got that going for it. But seriously, is Jessie's entire fucking pack wrapped in plot armor? 4 battles, HUNDREDs of enemy shifters dead, and no losses on the good guys side. Whatever.
Also, why Avians? I mean, i get it. Avian, cause they fly. But you have were-wolves, were-coyotes, were-cats and were-foxes, why not were-ravens and were-eagles? Why just call them avians?
If you like endless talking about food, cars, sex and wolfy grins, then this book is for you.
I’ve loved this series since the first installment. This - volume 9 - takes the story to another level.
I’m a fan of Author Eric Vall, but not ALL of Author Eric Vall’s series. A couple of them rank amongst my very favorites. Others…well, rank amongst the most forgettable. The Alpha, however, is, and has been, one of the best I’ve seen.
The Alpha is a series devoted exclusively to werefolk. Shifters. There is no ‘magic’, and no magicians. Just shifters and humans. I find that both very interesting and refreshing, as it doesn’t allow for an “easy out”, and forces the author into more complex and imaginative storylines.
But, whatever your feelings on that topic may be, The Alpha is a REALLY fun read, and one I highly recommend.
Jesse and his pack are traveling with the orchestra to perform in different locations. While doing so they are being attacked from different enemies. The attacks are getting tiresome and Jesse needs to find out why they are being targeted.
The book was good and storyline is progressing as well. It just would be nice when the blockhead, Jesse, would finally realize that the Agent is the female human version of one his Omegas.
Loved every word and every page! This series is seriously good and addicting to read, and book 9 is the best release so far!
With constant threats, random attacks by rival alphas, a mysterious branch of the FBI playing games with shifters and a mighty big revelation to end the book...
OK I love where this is going I can't wait for the next book OMG I really hope he slaps the head of the SDD like a little b**ch. And in the next book I hope he gets his human and his silky.
Book ends with an interesting twist, can not believe I didn't expect that. I wonder what were creature he will introduce next. Werebat, werebadger, werecrocodile, weregiraffe
Things are starting to come to a head. The Mc starts to have some interesting ideas about what is going on and some fun interactions with Hazel. Nice ending and I will be looking forward to the next book.
This was an absolutely thrilling addition to this saga, with new revelations about the world and the threats facing our protagonist and his family! As always I cannot recommend this series enough, and I eagerly await the next one!
This entire series has been a page turner. I have really enjoyed reading about Jesse and his group. The entire series has been very entertaining. Since this #9 ended in a cliff hanger, I can't wait for the next issue!
The boss done f*%ded up now. The SDD have been identified as villans, with a few exceptions, and have begun something they are ready for. Cannot wait for the next one.....
A good book with an excellent ending. I really like this series and I want to see where the story goes. I'll be buying the next book when it comes out.
I need more. This series his fantastic and I can't wait for the next one to drop. I know Eric will provide if the reviews are there. So get to reading and reviewing!
