I’m a she-wolf with everything to lose. Protecting my son is the most important thing. I should have known getting involved with a Dark Bounty wolf was a bad idea, but I couldn’t resist. A bad boy is every girl’s dream. Too bad I didn’t know he was a rogue wolf and may be responsible for the missing she-wolves. I had to get away, and what better place to escape to than Twin Lakes, Colorado? It doesn’t take me long to go from serving up a hot breakfast to the bear and wolf shifter community to hooking up with a broody mountain bear shifter named Cole … and a bear shifter twin named Ivan … and last but certainly not least, the fine a** wolf doctor Simon . Life was looking up for me… Until Brady and his darkness showed up to spoil the fun. Can I stay alive long enough to fall in love with the sexy shifters and will I fall prey to the evil plans of a psychotic rogue wolf with a hankering for she-wolves? Buckle up for a wild ride in Twin Lakes of heart-stomping suspense, sizzling military bear shifters, and multiple doses of pleasure. Why take one when you can have three?
I love Paranormal... who doesn't? I spend most of my time reading and writing, but to keep my sanity - I love being outdoors. That's where my imagination goes wild.
It just unfortunately was not good in my opinion. The storyline had potential but it felt like it was thrown together, not edited and then wrapped up too quickly. I’m not sure if it’s just the style of writing but I could tell by the time I finished the first page that I was going to struggle getting through this one because of how poorly it was written. I am all for the concept and enjoy shifters but it wouldn’t be a book I recommend. It’s also advertised as a reverse harem romance but she only ends up with 2 people so I was slightly annoyed there(there are 3 men on the cover of the book?? Like why??). It just fell very short of what I thought I was going to get out of the story. I don’t buy the chemistry between the main characters and I was super annoyed that in the ending scenes of the book the two people she does end up with didn’t even realize she gets stabbed. It’s the person she doesn’t end up with that notices? It was like she was going to add in a third mmc and then just decided at the last second to leave him out.

I get that this is basically written porn and as such has the same quality of plot. That being said, the author should as least try and have the characters, plot, be at least plausible/reasonable. This book does not do that.
The book starts out with the h going on and on about how fantastic her fiancé is and how much she loves him. Then the h finds out some horrible things about her (at the time) fiancé. She leaves/flees him. This happens in like the 1st or 2nd chapter. She relocates in a type of location that her fiancé would have chosen. The ideal location for him. She doesn't let people know about the things she learned about her now ex-fiancé.
She flees to a location that her ex-fiancé would have picked...small town, built around a lake. She meets the first of her mates in a bar. She mentions that she hadn't had a job for a while and therefore didn't have much money. So, why the fuck did she head to a bar first thing? Where was her 6 year old?
She accepts a date at the bar and seems to already be moving on with her life. Not dealing with her ex nor finding a job nor reporting on what she discovered.
Saying that pacing was light speed would be an understatement. Super rushed, very little character development, world building. Basically, it was the equivalent of a stripper showing up in a police uniform. It's not a real uniform but just something to set the mood. That's what the plot of this book is, a medium for the porn.
I enjoyed this book that kept you on your toes throughout and I love how protective the twins where of Miranda and her son. Miranda is a single mum who loves her son and will do anything to protect him even if it’s from his own father Brady who Miranda realizes is the she wolf killer that everyone is looking for when she sees it with her own eyes when he dumps a dead woman overboard from his boat and so she runs away. She ends up in Twin Lakes in Colorado where she scores a waitress job serving breakfast to bear / wolf shifters and when she meets Cole the grumpy bear shifter and he asks her out they have a hook up and have an awesome night together and then they run into each other again and he asks her out but it’s not Cole but his twin Ivan and they hit it off as well but now the brothers are fighting between themselves over her and then throw in a sexy wolf doctor just makes it more interesting but what they all agree on is protecting Miranda and her son from her ex fiancée who is a killer that’s after her to take her out. How will it all turn out with everyone involved, can the save Miranda and her son and do they have a HEA in the end.

I mean, she sees her now ex finance comit murder. She is in a new town, that's she not been in long. Aranged a date with twin A then accidentally invites his twin B. After twins fight in the restaurant in front of her (which she doesn't seem bothered about), she blurts out what she witnessed to them (to complete strangers). To have twin B take her to police station to give a report. She doesn't want a relationship yet allows twin B to finger blast her on the way home to her kid.
Im like what. And im nearly 50% into book. Not for me

Miranda and her men are fantastic and I loved every minute of it. The mystery and sex are fantastic but will keep you thinking. I loved how friendship also shows up as well as healing from grief. I cannot wait to see if there will be more set in this world.

I thought that Simon was going to be a part of her harem, but no.... The twins and Simon saving not only her but the town from Brady - killing she wolves. I'm not really sure why, though. Also, why did Cole end up back in the hospital- I reread and could not figure out what happened?.! It had a plot and was enjoyable.
This book was a good read. Their cute/meet in the restaurant was humorous at the mix up and yet solemn when she confessed why she was here. I liked that the twins found their brother bond and then got their mate bond with her. A lot of action, danger and adventure as they got their HEA.
I really enjoyed this book but I guess the outcome was not what I wanted Had really high hopes that went down in flames Can it really be considered a reverse harem?
The story was good. Had some drama but also had an insta-love aspect. No steam but some sex. Lots of gaps in time and a weird ending. It was more a ménage book then a RH book. It’s a quick read so give it a try.
This book was soo good I loved it from the start it pulled me in and didn't let me go Intel the end I also loved that it was about a single mom it is a good read now off to the 2nd book is this set happy reading eveyone
I enjoyed this story. Well written with great characters. Full of mystery and suspense. I was given an advanced reader copy from booksprout and I voluntarily leave this review.
This was a hard pass for me. Nothing about this book feels natural, from the very beginning you feel like the author is just throwing as much as he possibly can at you. DNFed barely 3 chapters in.
Miranda was taking a surprise picnic out to the lake to discuss a wedding date with her fiance. After she arrived and set up the picnic, she received a surprise herself.
