Overly (but very welcome) obsessed H? checked Equally (but also very welcome) obsessed instalove h? checked A bit twisted (and overly extra romantized) romance? double checked
I guess that's the only thing that describes this book.
Virgin h (I think) No condoms OTT instalove Ultra super war hero billionaire H, Physiotherapists sweet h Bit drama with h's dad No angst No cheating, No OW/OM No kink High medium heat steam Safe read, HEA, epilogue Overall score: 3.5 obsessed stars
I love Ever Lilac and I have to say I LOVED THIS BOOK! Firstly, it is safe, virgin sweet h, no OW/OM, HEA and we all love an OTT, obsessed, scarred alpha H that is madly obsessed with out curvy h, but his sexual past is confusing to me. He says when he reaches in his bed it is always empty, (so he is not a man whore), but then he says that monogamy is new to him, (so he is a man whore that has different partners and our h is the first he wants for keeps)? I don't want the book ruined so I will go with the former that he is NOT a reformed playboy billionaire, besides he gives me the impression that he isn't one. One thing is for sure, he has fallen in love for the first and last time with Tasha and it shows. There is another weird mistake, he has a painting of her commissioned and it is placed above his bed in his bedroom, so when they first have sex in his bed she doesn't comment on it, which I found odd, (the painting is huge and hard to miss). When she comes over the second day in his bedroom to check on his knee and she sees the painting for the first time....HOW? Anyways I still enjoyed it and recommend it!
I really enjoy the author work. Jay & Natasha story was a great short story. I was not expecting the twists about who her father is I think he was trying to protect Natasha but went overboard.
Justinian is the perfect definition of a caveman. Natasha's dad is a very lucky man. He must have had a moment of insanity that made him cross the line, but it worked out well for everyone. I enjoyed this book.
This book started off really great, but the twist with the father a bit weird.
The passion and the steaminess is perfect for an Ever Lilac book, but as compared to the other books I have read of the same author, this one falls a little flat for me. But I still do recommend it
