The writing and editing continued to be good in this series and, for the most part, the story progressed well. I'm glad that the military did not end up being the bad guys as they often are in this genre. The scenario between Timothy and Boston PD vs Frank and his gang was a bit murky and did not seem to be all that well executed. I was very surprised after President Coleman and the military prevailed, that they simply gave Alex his vehicle back and wished him luck getting all the way from Atlanta to Boston. Given that they all understood how important it was that he get there, could they not have provided an aircraft and a military escort? We did get some big revelations on how and why the mosquitoes were released, though the plot about how they were altered deepened. I look forward to book 3.

4.5, not 5. What I mean is that the first book was better, but this one was pretty close.

I feel like adding more POVs didn’t help the story move along. In the first book, everyone had very distinct voices, but here things started to get a bit too similar.

Also, while I still found the characters mostly realistic even while making mistakes, especially during distress, a few times I thought it was TOO MUCH just for the sake of drama (yes, Zara, I’m looking at you now).

The string of bad luck was very annoying as well. Of course things can’t all go well or else there’ll be no story, but again: TOO MUCH.

That said, I still root for all of them, I still want to know what’s gonna happen next and I could NOT stop reading this. HUGE RECOMMENDATION! READ IT, PEOPLE!

Zara, Lizzy, Alex, Lauren, Minnie and Oliver run into danger more than once, as they cross what has become a lawless wasteland with all technology wiped out and millions dead from the mutated, mosquito-spread virus.
What is Lizzy's Dad, Walter Peters, up to?
Why is he so hostile towards Zara?

Leaving his sick wife Heather and their kids in the care of his Mom, Dana and nurse Candice, Timothy Price heads for the New Horizons lab...what will he find there? Is there a cure?

A nail-biting continuation of the No Tomorrow Series by Mike Kraus and B.K. Boes, get your copy of Book 2, Ruination, before it's too late!
Recommended to fans of Tara Ellis, Justin Bell and Marcus Richardson.

What an enthralling and interesting series. With 3 story lines to follow, providing a different perspective from each, it just keeps you on the edge of your seat from woe to go. With a few curve balls intermingled along the way, I can't wait to get into the next book. I get the feeling that at some point all these people's lives are going to cross paths and that will be the most interesting event and I suspect that the fallout will probably blow your mind and turn everything you thought you knew upside down. Who knew that the ordinary mozzie could be the villan of a book !

intriguing

The story line, the characters, all of it- amazing! It’s seriously as though I’m watching a doomsday movie with how well this series is written. Definitely recommend this series. What was found out and came to light in this second book was so intriguing that it definitely held my interest.

well,

I enjoyed the books. But there’s things that are confusing they handcuff somebody and then a few minutes later, they were writing notes in the dust on the table… Little things like that take away from the story.

If this is a great storyline, and I’m enjoying the book. With silly mistakes and all.

This apocalyptic story has the feel of possibly coming to truth?

God help us, if anything of this magnitude should come to fruition. I will be itching for quite some time and check myself for sy

I enjoyed this book. But too many characters to remember who they were. Some called by their first name, then later by last name. Too many to keep track of. Good guys…bad guys? But looking forward to book 3.

Ruination Book 2

This book is slow paced action with boring characters. I recommend this book to any readers that don't mind slow paced action with boring characters.

Prophecy?

Does this sound like history or prophecy? It does require some thinking outside of the box, but the love of power and money creates interesting possibilities!
