Killing off victims
Next one’s you!

Special Agents Stella Knox and Hagen Yates travel to Atlanta to uncover the truth about the man she trusted as a child and discover a shocking truth. When her "uncle" was killed, he took the secret of who murdered her father with him. Or did he?

Before they can investigate further, they’re called to Chapel Island, Tennessee, where three teenage girls have been murdered. All popular cheerleaders. All shot at close range with a rifle. All dead, with a gruesome cheer written in blood on the gymnasium wall.

And the killer is just getting started.

When another victim is found, it’s clear a stolen cheer roster listing every high school squad in the county has become a killer’s hit list. Who is targeting the cheerleaders of Chapel Island? And why?

Stella and her team can’t possibly protect them all. Their only hope is to catch the killer—fast.

When this series started i really wasn't sure but it is getting better and better. This one was really addictive. The underlying arc and tve standard cliffhanger are also adding to the tension as you want to know what is happening.

I was given an advance copy by the author but the review is entirely my own.

If you enjoy a good thriller, I highly recommend this series. You will find it hard to say no to a book from Mary and Stacy.

KILLER SPIRIT is the fourth installment in the Stella Knox Series by Mary Stone and Stacy O’Hare. This is another well paced, page turning thriller with a twisted and gruesome plot. Get ready for a story that examines what a person will do to seek revenge for perceived wrongs.

Stella Knox and Hagen Yates are in Atlanta and just verified her father's partner isn't dead. Before they can approach him they are called and ordered to report to Chapel Island, Tennessee. All hands are needed, even the pregnant and injured are being called in for this case.

This is another fantastic story in this series. Someone is killing cheerleaders. Can Stella and her fellow agents find the killer before more high school cheerleaders are murderers

As usual, I can hardly wait until the next book to find out who is entering the FBI office with a knife.

I did receive an advance readers copy of this book from the author and this is my honest and freely given review.

Killer Spirit, the next installment in the Stella Knox series continues the story line of Stella and Hagen trying to find out more about the man who she knew as her fathers friend as she grew up. They go to Atlanta to find him after a her IT friend told her he was alive and going by a different name. Unfortunately, Stella and Hagen have to return home to deal with a horrific case where high school cheerleaders are being shot and killed. Who is killing them and why? Does someone owe a debt that hasn't been paid? Is someone out for revenge? How many more will die? Stella and Hagen work together with their FBI team to solve the case. Meanwhile, Stella feels she may be being watched but is she just paranoid? This is a good story that moves along at a steady pace. I recommend this novel. I received this novel as an ARC. All thoughts are my own.

Killer Spirit- Cheerleaders ?

I never would've put the title with cheerleaders. Although now, it totally makes sense. Its always amazing where the mind leads people. Its just like a group of people at a corner where a traffic accident occurred. There are so many different views of what happened and how it affected each person differently.
It's exactly the same with murderers. A group of people may experience the same upbringing or traumatic event and someone may walk away seeking retaliation of some sort, potentially murder.
In this case, the group was cheerleaders because someone wanted to be recognized. Some walk away unfazed or unaffected at all. The extremes is mind blowing.
Thank goodness the FBI figured this one out. That Stella Knox is a spitfire!
You'll have to read it to get the juicy details !
On to the next one for me !

I can’t wait for more. Stella and her FBI team are working on another big case and this one has them all confused as there are very little clues. Additionally Stella and Hagen made a big discovery towards her fathers murder and partner. While working on hear two cases, we find out that someone is watching Stella and it also is about her dads case. This book flew by and was so descriptive and entertaining. Mac and Stella have a great friendship and I do enjoy seeing all the characters develop with each new case and book. I am not sure yet about Anders reactions to Stella or Slades reactions for the last two cases, but I look forward to seeing what happens with them and how Hagen and Stella’s relationship and side focuses on family traumas impact this series!

Another roller coaster ride of an adventure. Not only is there a murder case involving high school cheerleaders but the investigation into Stella’s father’s murder. Who is killing cheerleaders & is her “Uncle” Joel’s murder finally going to be resolved? Stella & her team have to hurry to stop the cheerleaders from being killed. One of her partners, Hagen, seems to be more interested in helping with her father & his partners murder leading Stella to become closer than she wants with her partner. Is a relationship evolving, as both are unaware that they are also being hunted? Can’t wait for the next exciting book!

Killer Spirit by Mary Stone and Stacy O'Hare is the fourth book in the series about Stella Knox. Stella Knox and Hagen Yates are in Atlanta looking for Uncle Joel. Who is “Uncle Joel?” Is he alive or dead? They get a call on their day off from their supervisor. This was never good news. Head to Chapel Island, Tennessee-three young cheerleaders have been found dead inside the school there? The quiet little town of Chapel Island has never had anything like this happen there. Was it a drug deal gone bad, another troubled student, someone they knew who had it in for them, a boyfriend...? Read on and find out! Excellent book. Highly recommend!

This was another engaging read in the series about revenge. Stella Knox and Hagen Yates are in Atlanta on their day off trying the family that can help them find who murdered Stella's father. They learn something surprising but are interrupted when called to a crime in Tennessee. Three cheerleaders have been murdered. The case is interesting, and the reader gets to hear the killer's thoughts. The killer is out for revenge. The two mysteries run parallel. The cheerleader case is solved but there is no resolution to Stella's father's murder. There is a huge cliffhanger. If you have enjoyed Mary Stone's other work, you will love this.

Another good book in this mystery series. Since this is the 4th book I’ve completed in the series, I’ve picked up a lot on the author’s style and how she lays out the story. It’s very unique but it has an interesting formula to where you understand the murderer’s actions/mindset without knowing who they are or their whole motive. This book added some extras layers to the story in the background that involves the main character, Stella Knox, so I think that helped avoid repetition even though the stories do feel formulaic. Side note: there was some misspellings of Hagen’s name in the kindle version and that was kind of annoying lol

I absolutely love all of Mary stone's books but I am really loving the Stella Knox books. Stella and her FBI team are called to a small town where three cheerleaders have been killed and a cheer in blood is left on behind. They need to decide if this was a revenge killing or what. Then another cheerleader is killed from a different school. Can the Stella and the rest of the team figure out who is killing these girls before another one is found dead. This book is full of twists and surprise ending

A mystery, murder, a killer and FBI Special Agent Stella Knox. What more could you ask for? The Stella Knox series is seriously a page turner, you won't want to put it down. I love reading books by Mary Stone. These books are always exciting to get and to read. I always feel that I am very involved from the first page to the end. I want to help solve that mystery of the Murders.
I think you will enjoy reading this book and any or all of her books.

I received this book as an ARC from the Author for an honest review.

Killer Spirit by Mary Stone is another amazing book. Just as Stella and Hagan find Uncle Joel alive and well in Atlanta they are pulled away to investigate three cheerleaders murders. As more cheerleaders are targeted by the killer the team are in a race against time to stop any more murders and catch the killer. Why is someone killing cheerleaders and why did Uncle Joel fake his death? I can’t wait till the next book. Mary sure knows how to keep her readers on the edge of their seat. Scary good reading.

Mary Stone and Stacy O’Hare are a superb duo! Their writing makes this Stella Knox series chilling and thrilling.
This book, the 4th in the series, is very fast paced and hard to put down.Stella Knox, Hagen Yates and their Nashville FBI team have landed a very difficult and disturbing case.
Someone is targeting cheer leaders leaving them shot to death. The killer then writes cheer slogans on the wall using the victims blood.
In the meantime someone is stalking Stella…who is this creep.
And then the last chapter…OH MY!

I’m always entertained by a Stella Knox story and this one was So good! Cheerleaders are being murdered and time is of the essence to solve the crime. I was totally blindsided by the identity of the killer. I didn’t expect that! Stella and Hagen are still hunting “Uncle Joel” and it took a surprising twist! This is a very intriguing series and it gets better with each book. “This was a complimentary copy and this is my honest review*

What can I say? The girls did it again. A wild ride through small town cheerleading and trying to find who is taking the cheerleader’s out before they get another one. Stella’s hoping when they catch the culprit she’ll finally have time to track down her own mystery. However, leave it to these great authors to get us hooked on the next book before it’s written.

Paige King and the FBI team out of Tennessee search for a killer targeting high school cheerleaders. As they are hunting for their killer, another hunter is aiming for Paige. In her search for the person responsible for her father’s death, she and Hagen have shaken up a long dormant killer. Things are heating up all around. Killer Spirit was much better than the previous book, Killer Shot.

Good read

Problem is here we are dragging the tale of her father and "Uncle" out book after book with no conclusion because apparently the days of the stand alone novel is over. Have to make a series with an end to the immediate mystery but drag out another for a reason to keep the series going. Hate this.

Outstanding Book!

You won't be able to put this book down. Emotional, suspenseful, crazy thrill ride. It amazes me how cruel people can be. If they just stop and put themselves in their friends shoes. What would you do if it happened to you? Don't leave friends behind. Check on them!

Mary Stone, is an outstanding writer! Can't wait to read the next book in the series!

Couldn’t post a review last year.

I like Mary Stone’s writing as compared with some of the other Kindle Unlimited authors featuring strong female leads in law enforcement who allow their protagonists to run roughshod over procedures, propriety, and the law.

Here, Stella discovers someone from her childhood, whom she believed dead, is very much alive.

Shocking revelations to come.

Loving the Stella Knox FBI series

Another great Stella Knox, FBI novel. This was #4, and it was just as good as the first. I like how the characters are evolving into people you feel like you're really getting to know, people that could be friends or co-workers. The suspense and twists and turns are just as amazing as always. I'm truly loving this series, on to the next...!

Keep moving forward and you will getbthete.

Good read. Complicated crime with stumbling blocks along the way. Team working together with little data coming through. Interviews clouding the details. Finally the killer makes a mistake and the team moves forward. Really good at keeping the culprit hidden.
