Basic Plot: Delaney Reed deals with wedding planning, stolen god weapons, a shape-shifting ghoul, and an unexpected monster hunter.

There was so much chaotic energy to this book. It was fun. Poor Delaney and Rider. I almost feel bad for them. Almost. I do love how Monk chose to deal with the monster hunter she wrote into the story. It was a refreshing change from the typical tropes. Just a fun read.

I felt frustrated throughout most of this book especially the fact if you're dealing with demons then WHY WOULDN'T YOU ASK & INVOLVE THE DEMONS THAT ARE CURRENTLY LIVING IN TOWN & SIGNED THE CONTRACT?! I mean I would imagine that 3 royal demons would have alot of information to share about another royal brother & the king of said royal family, yet..... Delaney seems to never once even think of that or bother asking them questions they more than likely know the answer to unless it's already way past too late & then she listens to the demons share info on what they know about attacks coming from people in their very own family. I kind of wanted to smash my head ona table a couple hundred times because the Reed sisters are police & detectives & one is even dating the son of the demon king & brother to the other demon attacking Ordinary & has a mother & uncle living in Ordinary with him.. I just don't understand why the demons were constantly pushed off to the side or were only asked for help with information or other things after things already went to crap. I admit I'm losing interest in Delaney & Ryder's relationship, at this point it just seems boring & not like a real partnership but Ryder constantly telling Delaney how much she CAN'T help with her own wedding then gets crap for not helping with the wedding even though she was already told to stay outta it & at this point it feels more like a toxic relationship that's on its last leg & that makes the idea of a wedding sound ridiculous if they can't even communicate or work together like a healthy relationship should, especially one that is leading to a wedding. I don't know I think I'm just annoyed in general at this point. At least Graphic Audio still helps bring the story alive & makes it easier to push through a book I mightve ended up putting down & not picking back up if it were in any other format. One more book to go & the series is finally over, hopefully the last book won't make me want to smash my head on a wall.

Well, I zipped right through that one! This series remains quirky and fun, with an outstanding cast of narrators portraying charming characters--even the demons and the ghoul. Delaney is still waffling. God weapons are appearing. There's a snoopy-snoop in town who may or may not have designs on Ryder and Delaney swears she doesn't have cold feet. Though she does snore. Read or listen to the book. You'll get it. This whole series is a solid 4.5 for me.

Had to wait a few weeks for my library to get this, but I was still able to remember the others in the series, unfortunately my library doesn’t have the last one an neither does audible in my region. Aside from that this was my first series from this author and my first graphic audio and I was really surprised. I like “movie in your mind” storyline was great and kept me interested through them all.

I love this series with all the wonderful, paranormal characters on vacation in Ordinary, Oregon with strong women keeping the peace and enforcing the law. This story had me laughing, on the seat of my chair and didn't want the story to end.

This is a silly light-hearted series. I enjoy the wacky characters and the silly situations. Of course, since it is silly and wacky, you have suspend disbelief to enjoy it.
