I was given a copy of this book by the owner of the Laser I purchased. I’m not completely new to sailing, but the Laser itself is quite new to me, as is racing. While a book will never alone provide the key to sailing fast, this was a good read to familiarise myself with the basics of Laser rigging and optimal setup, the properties of the three rigs, and the intro to racing section will hopefully be useful to avoid novice mistakes while I gain some experience at my club.
