FROM EXCITING AUTHOR OF REVERSE HAREM ROMANCE ELLEN MINT Book five in the Coven of Desire series Layla's life is hell. She could really use an angel. After a month and no sign of the witch hunters, Layla thought her life was in the clear. A gigantic werewolf has different plans. As if her life being threatened by a mad werewolf isn't enough, the world seems to be ending. At least that's what an impossible, deadly-to-gaze-upon angel living underground claims. Layla is tasked to find whatever is ripping tears in the realms, causing creatures to appear and unravel everything in the world. Good thing she has an angel by her side. Garavel may not be a technical angel despite having white wings and a golden glow, but he's sweeter than sugar and adores witches. It's impossible to not fall for the cuddly teddy bear. Except, once Layla finds the culprit, Garavel must return to his master's side and she'll never see him again. She's going to need her sarcastic incubus, steadfast werewolf and stately ghost at her side. If not, she doesn't stand a chance in hell of surviving the ride.

OH MY GOD THAT ENDING???? I WAS NOT READY. I NEED THE NEXT BOOK IMMEDIATELY.

SO. Not a lot happens in this book, but the things that do...what can I say what can't I say...THIS IS SO HARD, BUT WE MEET MR WHITE FOR REAL AND LISTEN, I AM IN LOVE OKAY? WHO CARES THAT HE'S EVIL? NOT ME. ADD HIM TO THE COVEN TOO.

Sorry (not sorry) for yelling. Moving on from Mr White, we have a real addition to the coven in the form of a demi angel called Garavel. He's the most innocent of all the men and really funny.

He has his own mission that ties into Layla's world saving, so obviously they're meant to be!!! And he likes ice cream. And kittens.

I miss Stone, he wasn't in this one but will hopefully be in the next book.

OH! We also have more evil werewolves, always fun to have those near an impending apocalypse. Layla and her boys can never catch a break.

AND POOR DANIEL, I wanna give him a hug.

Now let me circle back to the ending. What. How. Why. When. Help???? IT'S NOT FAIR TO LEAVE US HANGING LIKE THAT!!!

*Thank you to the author and StoryOrigin for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review*

We're switching it up again in Wings and are back to Layla's point of view. I was sad to see none from the guys, but I'm hoping that changes again in the next book. With the main focus being on Layla again, I don't think this current book would have worked out well with multiple points of view anyway.

Throughout this series we've seen a brand new issue arise in each book, both within the relationships between Layla and her guys and the supernatural world surrounding them. I really enjoyed the current problem in this book as well as the introduction of a brand new character, Garavel, and how it all somehow managed to be connected to the underlying Mr. White problem that has been going on for several books now but hasn't been addressed directly yet. This completely changes in this book. Finally! Not only do we get a Mr. White appearance but also a reveal as to who he really is and what his goal is. As the unknown Mr. White, he seemed defeatable, but knowing his true identity makes everything seem so much harder now.

Despite all of this new information, there is still so much more to discover regarding Layla and her heritage and the powers that come from that. There were a few hints here and there to show that she isn't just a simple witch, and I'm interested to see how that develops as the series continues. I'm sure it will be the game changer needed to help defeat Mr. White, but I doubt with the group of guys she's been collecting that her powers alone will be enough. She certainly draws some pretty powerful beings with a variety of skills to her side, whether it be a coincidence or something regarding her witchy abilities, and I believe them all working together, even with their differences and feelings toward one another, will be the deciding factor on whether Mr. White reaches his goal or not.

BLURB:

Poor Layla can't catch a break. If it isn't one thing it's another. What I enjoyed most about "Wings" is the mysterious Mr. White has been revealed. He isn't going to be an easy foe to defeat especially if he is one of the harbingers of the Apocalypse. This book was more plot than steam. Layla, Ink, Calvin and Daniel have a lot on their plates especially after the last ordeal they went through in the previous book where they are still suffering from, especially Ink who is having a few side effects from giving up his immortality to save Layla previously.

The coven has grown to include a demi-angel who realized that everything he thought he knew was a lie. After experiencing a deep betrayal at the hands of his creator poor Garavel has nowhere else to turn. Lucky for him there is a sweetheart of a witch who welcomes him with open arms. Agreeing to join the fight against Mr. White and the Large Red Wolf; Garavel has pledged his loyalty to Layla and the rest of the coven and has vowed to do whatever he can to assist Layla in the fight to save mankind.

Are we adding an Angel to the mix?!?!? Lord, I am happy Cal has a big house because it is getting full. Ms. Layla is on another break from school. Just finished up exams. Mother's Day is approaching. How can see go to the grave of her mother when she knows she is not dead? Layla is still on the hunt for Mr. White. Cal is trying to stay away from the cult but keep a close eye on them at the same time. We find out about a new werewolf. Eric is another bother that is Moon-Bound. He and other members of the cult have become Mr. Whites henchmen.

Garavel is not an angel. He loves Ink and Daniel and hates Cal with a passion. Werewolves are not to be trusted. He can't figure out why a witch with entertain a werewolf. Layla needs something from him to help Daniel become human again. An angel feather is one of the ingredients. Garavel does have contact with his creator that is a real angel. The Angel promises Layla a feather if she is able to figure out who or what is creating the rift between the realms. This rift is the cause for all of the creatures showing up.

Garavel, Cal, Ink, Daniel and Layla have to work together to kill Mr. White as he seems to be the answer to all of their problems. Can the Coven defeat Mr. White once and for all? Will Garavel get over his issues with werewolves and stay with them? Will Layla's friends accept the relationships they see with Ink, Cal and Layla? This book brings up a lot and we could possible add a demi-angel to the mix. Readers will be captivated and will hold their breaths to find out what happens to our beloved crew. Every book in this series is a new adventure and I know the next one will be full of unexpected surprises.

Back in the world of Layla and her lovers.
What wonderful books Ellen Mint writes with her series Coven of Desire. Together with Ink she searches for her powers as a witch, in love with her school friend who turns out to be a werewolf and the ghost of Daniel who was hidden in a library and now helps her find spells. She is still looking for Mr White with her 'men' and now a demi-angel comes to help her! The large, broad and protective gentle warrior who rescues and helps her. He, Garavel, who had never tasted ice cream before, never shared a kiss and helping kittens!
Significantly fewer scenes where Layla has sex with her men but that didn't make this part any less. The story is fast, catchy and dynamic. Mr. White is found but knowing what she's dealing with doesn't make it any easier to rid the world of evil!
Great ending because I'm sure there will be more to come

Thanks to the writer Ellen Mint for giving me an ARC. This is my honest opinion that I give voluntarily

I about threw my phone at the end of this. The thing I've been waiting for happened AND NOW I NEED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS NEXT

What a great book. Garavel is so wholesome and his relationship with Layla is a gem. Don't get me wrong, I love the relationships she has with all her guys, but she so needed someone like Garavel to give her the softness and encouragement that she doesn't necessarily get from the others.

And hey ho, we've finally met The Big Bad! Man, this was a long time coming. There's still one piece that I'm missing from something that happened a few books ago, but I'm sure it'll come up soon. I'll just have to be patient. Things are definitely picking up now, which is fantastic and upsetting in equal parts as I know I'm getting closer and closer to the end.

Thank you, Ellen, for allowing me to read this as part of your Street Team! I'm looking forward to the next one!

Layla and her guys just can't catch a breath! This book might be the most action packed of the series with lots of ennemies trying to destroy basically everything, Layla, her men, witches, the world, you pick! Ellen Mint also introduces a new character, an angel like courteous and chivalrous teddybear, and another characters from a previous book makes an appearance, Detective Stone. The relationship between Layla and her men seems to be improving, which is great because Layla needs some kind of break. Last thing I'll say is the ending was VERY unexpected and the next book has a lot to explain.

For the Love of Angels and Demons….

This books is a continuation of the Coven of Desires series. The other books are required to read for the story to make sense. We are following Layla after the events of Badge. Layla is determined to find a way to help Daniel and in the process learns about angels. She is sent on a mission to help an angel and learns more than she bargained for. There are so many twists in the story and we finally find out who Mr. White is. I would recommend this book for someone who likes the following tropes: found family, absent parents, hidden truths, secret past, surprise ally, why choose/reverse harem, good vs evil and against all odds.

Still recovering from the ending here. I just finished reading this beauty and I think it is an underrated series. I really wish the author would get more attention. This continues the story for Layla and she was really thinking it would be smooth sailing but alas destiny has other plans. This for sure is a rollercoaster on what is happening with Mr White and we now know who he is but that doesn't make it easy. I love the development of the relationships and what is the deal in this book. There is so much going on I can't wait to read the next book.

Adding an angel to the mix

Layla and her coven of boys are still working on trying to help Daniel become human again but this is made harder by another of Cal’s brothers showing up who is out to make trouble. On top of this they are asked to help a Demi-angel to find out what is causing a rip between the realms.

This is full of fast paced action with a lot of humour and development between the boys and the potential new member of their group. It was also great seeing Stone again.

An intriguing continuation of Layla’s story with Ink, Cal and Daniel. It picks up right from where book 4 ended. The guys are struggling with what happened to Layla with the Witch Hunters and have become much more protective and it’s starting to worry Layla. Mr White is still pulling strings. And a new man comes into play - Garavel. Not as steamy as previous episodes but full of action and surprises, finishes with an unexpected cliffhanger.

Book 4

And the last book for me. It ends on a cliffhanger, so I presume the author will continue the series. I, however, will not. I struggled through this one. I get there is a reverse harem subplot to this, but it is juvenile that the FMC never meets a man / male entity she doesn’t want to f*ck. Even some of the ones trying to kill her. She makes unwise decisions time after time. And is so insecure, she cannot see what is staring her in the face.

Layla is still fighting the powers that be that are trying to destroy her and the world. She is only holding herself together because of her squad of lovers. When you think that maybe things will get better, they take a turn for the worst. Ms. Mint has written another great book in this series. Love is a powerful thing.

Book 5 of this phenomenal series really hits you. It forces you to experience everything along with Layla and her guys. With identities revealed, secrets, lies and twists you don't see coming...this book has it all. The world and character development along with one h€lluva plot make this a series worth following. I can't wait to see where book 6 is going to take us.

In this book we are not only introduced to Garavel but we learn more about Mr White.
But questions aren't really answered, in fact Ellen Mint leaves us with more questions plus a few twists to the storyline.
This is the 6th book in this series and you do need to read them in order to be able to follow the storyline.

I am so loving this series. There is action all over. There is not a boring page in the book. Layla seems to get drawn into all sorts of complications. Will Ink ever tell her that he has feelings for her when he's never had them before? Will Laylas' mom help her to get rid of Mr White? Lots of things to look forward to. Great, great read.

I just adore this series. There is more action in this one with plenty of humour. So many twists and turns that kept me gripped. Garavel was a sweetheart and a new addition to the Coven. I'm so in love with these characters.

The newest installment of Ellen Mint's Coven of Desire, WINGS, finds Layla still learning to navigate sharing herself with her incubus, her werewolf lover, and a ghost—but there is a killer werewolf who is hunting her. And she sees an angel who announces someone is tearing apart the realms of existence. If you haven't read the previous books in this series, you need to, or this book will confuse you.

Wow! I loved reading this book! I stayed up way too late for successive nights in a row, just because I couldn't stop reading! (Darn day job!) Layla has always had a very steamy sexual relationship with all of her men, but the men are growing and changing. After they had to work together in the the last book to rescue her from witch-hunters, they've come to understand that they must get along. Even Ink, the incubus who has been alive for untold centuries, seems to have realized he loves her, though he's still a prickly pain-in-the-ass to the other men. His comments provide the comedy in a very intense story. Ms. Mint had me captured with the first book in this series, but they just keep getting better! If you like paranormal romance--if you enjoy reverse harems--if you love steamy scenes that melt your e-reader--you need to read this book! And then the rest of the series also!

Loving the Coven of Desire series! I hope it never ends 😊

Wings picks up right where the last book left off and is told in Layla’s point of view. I miss Cal and especially Ink’s POV because I just love the way he thinks. In this book you’ll get to meet another guy, Garavel, who captures our heroines interests. The witch hunters have not let up, and Mr. White has made a full appearance. If you’ve enjoyed the story thus far and appreciate the intimate scenes as they come then you’ll love this one, and, as usual, the cliffhanger is a doozy.

Layla is trying to once again slip back into normal life with her guys when everything cracks around her. Attacked on the way to a final at school, seeing things while at a party and crazy beasts coming out of nowhere while she's mourning at her mothers grave. All this leads to is minimal answers and so many more questions when Mr. White reveals his grand plan. Layla once again is struggling but forces herself to stand string to protect those she loves.

An Incubus, Ghost, and a Werewolf, why not add an Angel to the mix. Layla has grown her harem with Garavel. He is so easy to love. This is an amazing continuation of Layla wild ride of a story. There are fantastic revelations and mix of personalities. The steam, magic, and intrigue kept the pages turning. I am very excited to read how Layla's story continues.
