I received this book through Goodreads' giveaway program.
This book would be a good introduction to an inexperienced gardener or someone looking to grow their first garden. I though some of the sections were interesting like vertical gardening. I would have appreciated more pictures especially of the insects that can cause damage to plants, more information how to attract benefical insects, and more detailed information on vegetable options and varieties of vegetables.

(I won this book in a Goodreads giveaway) I started knowing absolutely nothing about gardening, but by the end of this book, I feel like I’m ready to get to it! Very easy read, informative, and full of tips and tricks!

A helpful introduction to raised bed, container, and vertical gardening and a good addition to most gardening bookshelves. The book is organized well and is easy to understand. It could've used more pictures or photos, but overall a good idea for new gardeners.
