s it an arranged marriage when they both crave each other from the start?
Well, I liked this story a lot. I think it grows with every chapter. The damsel in distress runs from a villain only to end up in the arms of another villain in very distressing circumstances. Fortunately, this villain is honourable and very much besotted with his protégé.
At first, I thought the narrative was lovely and cliché. Yet as the story progresses, even though it doesn't lose its trope, it turns out to be a little more. The young woman is innocent, but she's also alert and never loses a moment to face reality. The man, Mihail, is bent on revenge, but showers his woman with protection, devotion and luxury.
I liked several scenes related to their relationship and how it's riddled with danger. I also loved the epilogue; the dialogues are increasingly catchy. Of course it has enough steamy scenes to keep you entertained if you're here for more than the plot ;-) Good read.

Bastante entretenido. El prota masculino, Mikael, es bastante bueno para ser alguien que está metido en cosas turbias, mientras que nuestra prota femenina, Aurora, es bastante ingenua e inocente pero eso no la hace exasperante. La relación de ambos es bastante decente y linda.
Aurora es vendida por su madrastra a un hombre que casi le triplica la edad, ella escapa y es en este escape en el cual la "atropellan" aunque fue más bien un leve empujoncito que le dio el auto, que conoce a Mikael, dueño del auto y que iba en él, la ayudará y se aprovechará para vengarse del hombre que compró a Aurora.

Ella Goode knows how to write romance and Insta love like a boss! Even though the stories are short, what she packs within those pages is phenomenal.
That spark you get going in is there, the characters are great and you are invested. The heat is off the charts as always. But for me it’s the connection to their story and the feel good romance that you know is getting a happily ever after.
Always safe reads, and a five star read.

Mikael amd Aurora meet when she's running from someone. She runs right out in front of Mikael's car. His driver barely gets the car stopped in time.
Of course it wouldn't be a Ella Goode story if he hadn't scooped her up and declared her his!!!!.

Traicionada y vendida a un hombre que no conocía, busco alguna posibilidad de escapar. Lo encuentro en Mikael un misterioso extraño que me salva de un oscuro destino. No sé por qué, pero él me mantiene cerca y me hace suya, tomándome como su esposa para que el hombre al que me vendieron no pueda tenerme.
Es transaccional… Al menos eso es lo que sigo diciéndome. Pero cada día me enamoro más de él, y sus rudos besos y suaves caricias solo consolidan ese hecho. Cuando me doy cuenta de que solo me ha llevado para fastidiar a Edward, el hombre que trató de comprarme, me siento herida y confundida. ¿Me quiere o solo quiere venganza?
MIKAEL

Esto es lo que espero leer de Ella Goode cada vez que agarro uno de sus libritos, un romance insta-increíble que me mantenga enganchada en cada página!
Claiming His bride tiene mafiosos armados, un héroe poderoso con brillante armadura, traición, peligro, venganza, pasión, matrimonio arreglado, una heroína como novia fugitiva, es un delicioso cóctel que disfruté sentada en mí sillón favorito.
Me encantaron Aurora y Mikael juntos, eran una pareja bomba que me hacían abanicar con ambas manos y suspirar con sus momentos dulces. Se notó su conexión desde el momento en que se conocen cuando él aparece al rescate. Fue un momento romántico con la lluvia cayendo y todo.
Mikael es un hombre rico y poderoso, mandón y posesivo y la forma en que cuidaba de Aurora era para el desmayo. Él es el héroe devoto que es capaz de todo por su amor que espero en esta clase de historias.
Aurora estaba ok pero me pareció en extremo inocente, por ejemplo cuando piensa que de repente Mara cambió y hasta se pone un vestido solo porque puede gustarle a esta, yo solo pensaba que no podía ser más tonta y caer tan fácil en su trampa! Y después muy valientemente escapa del villano?! No me gusta leer una heroína en extremo ingenua.
Mikael tenía razones secretas para casarse con Aurora pero no es obstáculo para alcanzar su HEA porque ella es más importante que su venganza. Me pareció muy lindo el epilogo al final con los hijos.
Terminé de leer este librito con un sonrisa y feliz de haber apostado de nuevo a los romances de Ella.

Entrenido pero he leído historias practicamente calcadas a esta en muchísimas ocasiones y no aporta absolutamente nada.
Aurora es planísima y con la sangre de horchata. Para que esta muchacha se enfade no sé lo que tendría que pasar. La autora intenta dotarle de media gota de sangre cuando se entera de la relación entre Mikel y Edward pero le dura lo que viene siendo medio segundo. Una gaseosa al abrirla tiene más fuerza vamos.
Y Mikel... Pues también me ha parecido bastante plano la verdad.
Historia para echar el rato y pasar al siguiente. A mi hasta me costó terminarlo.

Last time when I read her《Make Me Match》, I felt boring and overused plots. But that’s not the main point, the thing is, her books has a similar problem with writing skills.
Bland, flat and straightforward.
When it comes with repeating and many times’ using storyline, it became less interesting.
Hmmm…I might forgot it after feel hours, because it’s really such a simple story and not that impressive for me.

Ella Goode is one of my go to comfort author’s, and I had a great time reading Claiming His Bride. Mikael and Aurora ended up literally running into each other, and then the claiming of the bride commenced.😂 This story was a little bit of the who did this to you trope, and I got you now I’m keeping you and spoiling you trope AND I LOVED IT!
Mikael is a powerful man that becomes enamored with Aurora after he saves her from an arranged marriage, and of course she has the intense pull towards him too which makes the plot thicken. I really enjoyed their chemistry and how sweet it was of Mikael to calm Aurora’s fears about them as a couple even knowing he fell for her at first glance.
There was a tiny bit of second guessing about spending forever with one another, but they both had such strong feelings for each other that quickly shifted into falling in love, and everything worked out nicely. The story was fun, their attraction and steamy times were pretty hot, and the epilogue was satisfying. This is another good one to add to my Ella Goode collection.🥰

3.75 It was a sweet take on an arranged marriage with enough drama to make the story work. Mikael and Aurora were a bit too instant-love/lust for me but his devotion to her safety and well being even though this was just a business deal to begin with, had enough angst and suspense to level the playing field. Aurora's character was much younger than I like my MFC to be, and Mikael presented as an age-gap MMC; but all in all the author made it work. She obviously was a very sheltered daddy's girls who ends up with the stepmother from hell once he dies, using Aurora as a means to an end for more cash in her shrinking coffers. Mikael was a solid character who not only used Aurora as a way to enact revenge against Blackstone, but also came through as a good anti-hero who stood by Aurora when everything started to unravel. He found a woman he grew to adore and love, a family and a happy ending.

Trust your feelings (gut).
I really liked this story. It was entertaining and enjoyable although there was some violence. The characters were interesting and likable for the most part. Edward deserved to have serious consequences for his actions and he got what he deserved. Aurora was coerced into getting married to a man she didn’t want to marry. She was afraid but willing to risk the consequences to try to escape. Mikael “met” Aurora during her escape and decided to protect her at her request. He was protective and possessive of Aurora pretty much immediately. There was a little bit of drama and angst. I loved their happily ever after. I recommend reading this book.

Honestly...
I didn't really like this one.
I get that Aurora was young and at least she ran when she realized she had an opening. But I really just could not stand her. I can't even point out why I didn't like her but I didn't.
When it comes to Mikeal, he was okay. But I don't get why he's waited so long to go for his revenge against Edward when he has so many sources at the tips of his fingers.
I wish we would have gotten to see Mikeal take care of the step mom and sister. Who's to say she won't start and cause more problems down the road? Maybe even have him discover how they were able to go through the fortune that Aurora's father left behind with Aurora seeing a cent of it.

Aurora has been sold to Ethan Blackstone for marriage by her evil stepmother. Aurora is determined to get away and decides to run. She runs right out in front of Mikael's car. His driver barely gets the car stopped in time. The instant Mikael sees Aurora he wants her to be his, then he finds out she is supposed to marry his enemy and stealing her from his enemy becomes a bonus. This is a great read and I highly recommend it!

Aurora runaway from an arranged marriage set up by her evil stepmom. She run straight into Mikael, who found Aurora tempting and also hold grudge against Aurora's supposed to be groom. He saw opportunity to kill two birds in one stone, and Aurora married him instead. What she thought a transactional marriage, turns out a lie. It's real marriage from beginning.
It's a novella, and very sweet story. Mikael is nothing but gentle with Aurora, and love her with all of him.

Sexy, quick read. I loved this quick sexy story. Aurora is sold at off by her stepmother into an arranged marriage at 18. She gets away before she is married to him and stumbles into the love of her life. The chemistry is hot and the story is quick, but developed. It’s a quick delightful read and a great get away from reality.

Aurora's story started with a bang. She is on her way to be married to a horrible man when she escapes and is rescued by Mikael. I loved the pull these two had and even though Mikael's motive started sort of shady, he quickly fell for Aurora. She was super sweet but had been through some drama. He was rough and tough but so tender with her. Very quick and enjoyable read.

Wish we knew more about the H's background in this one but being a short story, I know there is only so much you can do. I was baffled by the h at first but I really ended up liking her. I liked both of them. It had it all. Safe, insta-love, dual virgins, etc.. Ella has become one of my favorite romance authors.

So sweet!
Mikael and Aurora were perfect! I loved how protective and possessive he was with her, even if he didn't have the words for what that meant. These two had instant chemistry too, which made for a sweet and steamy read. Loved it!

Otra novela más de disputa entre dos hombres y un matrimonio consensuado para no tener que estar en los brazos del más malvado de la historia. Arrepentida de haber leído mucho de este cliché y haber perdido tiempo con LO MISMO.

DNF 49% I know she's 18 years old but she was just stupid. When she learns of the betrayal she gets all wet for him? Yes she does slap on but come on girl get up and walk away. I just couldn't finish it.

This had a really slow start, IMO, so I almost gave up on it. I really liked the premise though so I continued on and I did end up enjoying it. Incredibly spicy, with great dialogue and a hot JP hero.

Aurora was sold to a man 3x older than her. In a moment of distraction she manages to scape and is saved by the Mikael. Their chemistry is instant between them and Mikael is soon offering marriage. It was an OK read

Historia corta, pero bien desarrollada, que te permite entrar en la vida de los protagonistas y el porque de sus acciones. A pesar de ser un "love at first sight", no se siente forzado ni falso. Hacrn una linda pareja.
