Dr. Duke Potter is no hero.
Nor am I some damsel that needs saving—if that’s what we’re calling it.
But that’s exactly what Duke thinks he did when he found me on the arm of a short-tempered congressman, arranged to be married.
I should have told him the truth.
The real reason behind my involvement with the congressman.
I shouldn’t have danced in his arms and reminisced about the time when we ran away together.
But I most definitely shouldn’t have chugged that last drink and said, “I do,” marrying my childhood love.
Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time Duke and I have caused a scandal.
This time, though, we have more than just our reputations on the line.
Duke will never let me go.
There is no annulment in our future.
Only the consequences of the devastating secret I’ve kept from our past.

The Sculptor is the next installment of the Potter brothers and features the youngest Potter brother, Duke. It is a full-length novel and features crossover characters from the novels, The Potter and The Refiner.

Duke and Ramsey's story is heartbreaking, heartwarming, and absolutely beautiful! I cried again which seems to be a theme with Kristy Marie's books for me, because she makes me feel so deeply for her characters. In my opinion, creating characters that feel like real people is one of her greatest gifts. In conjunction with the emotional aspects of the story, there is a huge plot twist that readers of this series are going to love! Trust me, you don't want to miss it!

Contemporary romance fans, this one's for you!

My freaking heart. I knew I was going to love Duke, but his story. I wasn’t even expecting it.

Kristy had my eyes brimming with tears multiple times, and I just…no words for what happened in this one.

This is one of my favorite series from Kristy. Each standalone has been phenomenal.

Like all great love stories, it ended in tragedy. No one finds their soulmate at five years old. And no one loses him thirteen years later.

These Potter bothers have my whole heart.

I’ll be honest, when Kristy first announced this series, I was dubious. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to read about 3 brothers who are plastic surgeons. But again, I’ve learnt my lesson. Always trust your unicorn authors and always go in with an open mind because these are some of my favourite books by Kristy and I LOVE her other books.

We deserved a different ending to our story

The Sculptor is Duke’s book and he was the brother I was most interested in. He’s the playboy, the one who uses his humour to disguise his pain. (So basically my kryptonite in a hero.) Add in some second chance, angsty moments and you have some of my favourite tropes.

I found my soulmate. And then I lost him.

One thing I’ve learnt about Kristy recently is she has stepped up her funny game. Her hilarious one liners can be found in her other books but she was on fire with this one. I’m not lying when I said I highlighted at least half of this book with funny moments where I was laughing so hard I couldn’t breathe.

Don’t be fooled though, Kristy brings the serious moments. Moments that will have your whole heart (see what I did there 😉 IYKYK) so please make sure you read the authors note at the start about triggers.

Now for some of my favourite highlights. If these don’t convince you to read the book, then I give up.

You let me keep my daddy issues. Women like broken men. It makes they think they can fix you.

The toxic ones are always more fun.

She doesn’t need her pussy to dry my hair

A whore AND a greedy bitch? Does she have a younger sister?

Infinite stars!
Gahh these characters, this story, unforgettable, moving, heartbreaking, I don't have enough words to do it justice, it's a TOP READ 2022, a roller coaster of emotions that left me breathless and my heart warm with all the feelings.

Duke Potter and his charming personality had me so intrigued and enamored since the previous books in the series, and I knew he would become my favorite; the story is so addictive, the complex and suspenseful plot had me reading practically without blinking! It is UNPUTDOWNABLE!

Love Duke and Ramsey, they are soulmates, their depth emotional connection transcends time and distance, but their path has not been easy, and they have to fight tooth and nail to achieve their HEA, the author did an amazing job narrating their angsty and heartbreaking scenes, they took my breath away!

Captivating and deliciously passionate, The Sculptor is the perfect combination of hilarious banter, sarcastic humor, emotional tension, and the MOST EPIC PLOT TWIST EVER! It is absolute PERFECTION and immediately after finishing I wanted to read it again.
A standing ovation for the author, this is her best work to date, and it left me with the worst book hangover. There are also a secondary character that stole my heart. And now I need the next book as my next breath.

Perfect for fans of
Second chance
Childhood sweethearts
Angst
Epic plot twist
Hilarious banter

***5 "My heart!!!" stars***

"I learned a long time ago that true love only happens once in a lifetime.
I found my soulmate. And then I lost him."

It seems that I have stuck on the five star rating for all of Kristy's books!!! And I just need more stars cause this woman deserves them!!!
Oh, my heart!!!! How this woman is managing to make such beautiful and real characters is beyond me!!!
And lately, she is always making me cry and I don't know if I can forgive her for that!!!
My heart was shattered with this beautiful story and honestly, I wasn't expecting for Duke to steal my heart as much as he did, but here we go!!! Add to that, Ramsey and the result was electrifying!!!

"She is -and always will be- mine.
Because she promised me a life. And I'm back to collect."

Duke and Ramsey had history, but they were forced to be apart for almost twenty years...
Their love was once in a lifetime, but it ended abruptly and it left a sour taste in their mouth!!!
Now, fate is bringing them for once again together, but Ramsey is one step away to climb the church's steps with another man by her side... But Duke is determined to not let her go again and he will do anything to keep her with him, even to create a new scandal for their both families!!!!

"Don't act like you know me, Ms. Ford. I'm not the same man you once loved."

These two have suffered so much in their life!!!
Together were full of love and life, but apart everything was dark and dull!!!
That winter had scarred their hearts irreparable and seperated them... But their love for each other never faded away, even the distance that they put between them and the years they've spent apart...
But there are secrets that made them suffered greatly...
Secrets that they are about to find out and that they might have the ability to destroy them for once again...
Will their love be strong enough to survive another one hit???

"We are two halves of a whole.
We haven't thrived.
We haven't grown.
But not anymore..."

I adored both Ramsey and Duke!!!
They were meant to be!!! Their love was eternal!!!
Oh my god!!! Who would have thought that Duke Potter would be such a romantic??? Ray was owning his heart and he never got it back!!!
As for Ramsey??? God, I loved this woman as I am loving every female character that Kristy is creating... She was so strong and determined... And she was willing to sacrifice her own heart for the persons she was loving!!!

"Loving you will always be worth the heartbreaking winters."

Another one beautiful and heartwhelming story by Mrs. Marie's pen!!!
Another one unforgettable story in this series!!!
And that twist in here was something that I didn't know I was craving!!!
And of course, I can not wait for Remington's story cause this man had owned my heart since the first page I met him back in the Potter!!!
Just pick up this series, trust me!!!! Each book worth it!!!!

"Now and always.
Us against the world."

EPIC LOVE!! This is first love that was always meant to be forever love. It started when they were teens. Circumstances beyond their control ripped them apart, but destiny would take over and reunite a love that was always written in the stars.

She is sassy and determined. She’ll sacrifice everything for the truth.

He never forgot. He never moved on. Now that she’s back in his life, he is never letting her go.

Together they will fight to get everything they should have always had...their family.

The author will ignite the fire between Duke and Ray and together they are perfection! I adored this couple and their incredible and emotional journey to get back to the family they always deserved. The author is a master at creating characters that you will instantly love and vehemently cheer on, while she makes you cry and laugh simultaneously. So much emotion in these pages and I loved every minute.

This entire series has been amazing and each story makes me more invested in their happily-ever-afters. I love the Potter clan. Another story that hit my Top Reads for 2022!

If you like emotional, heartbreaking yet full of humor romances, Kristy Marie is your author.

Duke's book is one of those stories.
A love story that first experiences a tragic end so that the full force of their love can unfold again years later.
A second chance romance that's so beautiful and at the same time so damn heartbreaking that you admire the characters for their strengths endurance and relatively normal mental health status.

What is real love?
What makes love infinite?
Is it the number of thoughts you have of the other person over many years?
Is it the number of attempts to forget this love, try to move on and fail?

This beautiful love story has answers to all of these questions and much more.

Kristy Marie has a gift to make you cry and laugh in one sentence.
This story will make you swoon, cry and laugh uncontrollable.
Definitely a a must-read for all romance lovers ❤️

Now we just need Remington's story to complete the series 🥰

As a lover of books, I am always on the lookout for one so special that it lives rent-free in my head. Without fail, this is an author that is known to take that challenge. Not only does she take it but she excels at upping her game in every book and character that she creates. With every book, I tell myself that she cannot possibly do better or make me love the story and the characters more. Every. Dang. Time. And every time, she knocks it out of the park. This book was proof of that.

I never make any apologies about how much I love this author or the various series that she writes. They are all special in a unique way. This series of interconnecting characters though? Just take my money because I would step in front of a bus for any of these men and it only gets stronger with each book. When I say she is doing the Lord's work, Trust me that I am speaking the truth because these Potter men are a different breed. They are so vastly different from one another but also so very much the same. However, Duke is special. His personality is a perfect balance of sarcasm and confidence. I am hesitant to use the word alpha but, for lack of a better word, he is alpha. He is confident and shows that not only does he talk the talk but he walks the walk as well. Good Lord the mouth on this man. Yet, precariously balanced in this confidence is a vulnerability that hits deep. There is a backstory here, and not just with his brothers, but with Ramsey as well. I won't lie, this backstory hurts and gives me answers that I didn't even know that I had questions for.

Ramsey is one of my favorite heroines from this author to date. Much like Duke, there is more than meets the eye here. To say that my heart hurt as certain truths came to light was the understatement of the century. She is steadfast in her pursuit of answers. I didn't know the mystery at first BUT once it came out... Yeah, I was gobsmacked. The flashback scenes showing the connection between these two characters were extraordinary. The majority of us dream of being loved the way that these two love(d) each other. These two had all the chemistry that could only come from a connection made in the stars.

The twist that comes with this story cannot be prepared for. Nor, can a couple of pretty pivotal scenes that pretty much stabbed the proverbial knife into my heart because those scenes made me choke up. I felt the emotions of all the characters involved on a level that I was not expecting to feel. The impact and ramifications of what brought them to the here and now made me choke up even more than Astor and Keys and that book was a gut punch. This one was just as bad if not worse. I am not one to generally get emotional in books. Yet, this book might as well have been a Sarah MacLachlan Commerical for abused animals because that is how much she made my heart hurt.

I loved seeing the cameos of old favorites, in particular, Remington. The depth of love I have for this fictional young man is unhealthy. I am sitting here with bated breath waiting for his book because he came even more alive in this book, even knowing that his book is the last of this wonderful series and him.

There are not enough words that I can say to show my love for this author or why she is an automatic one-click author for me. One of the best of 2022 and of this author's entire backlog. She is proof of the old adage that practice does make perfect because this book couldn't be more perfect if she tried. I would give it six stars if I could.

If you are looking for a fantastic, five star read that will leave you with a book hangover, this is the one for you!

Kristy Marie has given us one heck of a story that took my breath (and a piece of my heart)! The Sculptor isn't like anything I've read from Kristy Marie and yet it still gives me that same feel that I get when I read all her stories.

This story grabbed me, tugged at my heart strings, made me laugh, made me cry, and made me fall in love with love.

Be prepared to fall head over heels in love with Duke Potter! His story isn't ANYTHING that I was expecting going in and left me loving him all the more after finishing it.

Grab those tissues, you may need them!

***While this can be read as a standalone, I highly recommend reading the series in order.***

As always, another brilliant book by Kristy Marie! Dr. Duke Potter’s story is beautiful and heart-wrenching. It is so worth the read!

I’ll be completely honest, I have no idea how to write this review without spoiling all the best parts and major plot line! 😅 So I’m just going to tell you that Duke and Ramsey’s love story was a doozy - the chemistry the two have is unbelievably hot and swoony! They are true soulmates in every sense of the word. You will laugh, cry, and feel all the feels with The Sculptor!
Ramsey is such a strong woman and she was willing to do anything to get the information she needed to move on. I loved her. And Duke! Duke is so freaking swoon worthy in this book! He’s romantic and just - YES! I loved him!
Of course I enjoyed seeing characters from the previous books as well, seeing Vance, Halle, Astor and of course, Remington! I’m glad to know at the end that we will get more about Remington in the next book! These Potter boys are just amazing! I love them!

Do NOT miss out on The Sculptor! It is a book that will break your heart and then put it back together in the very best way possible! It was unputdownable! I highly recommend!

For fans of angsty second chance romance!

5 She’s His Winter Stars!!

Updated to reflect my thoughts on the audiobook....

I had the pleasure of reading and now listening to this newest book by Kristy Marie. I didn’t think it was possible to love a book more than I already did. But Connor Crais and Heather Firth brough Duke and Ramsey to life in ways that I didn’t expect having read the book. They embodied not only Duke and Ramsey with ease and in my opinion, perfection, but also the rest of the Potter family and other pivotal secondary characters. I sank into this story glued to my phone listening to each and every word mesmerized by how alive these characters became thanks to this narration. I’m so thrilled that I was able to experience this book in both ways increasing my love for Kristy Marie’s words!

If you’ve read the previous two books in this series than you know that Duke Potter has been somewhat of an enigma. He’s been involved in his brother's lives given they own Potter Plastics and of course their love stories too. But there’s this perception of him that he’s a playboy that dates women based on the seasons of the year. But with The Sculptor we get in full Duke’s story and oh my heart.. it has been put through the ringer.

As I started this book, I wondered how Kristy Marie was going to build his story and what we were going to find out about his childhood love. And oh the secrets and anguish these two have lived the last several years. The first time Duke sees Ramsey again is a shock for both of them! I think I even had my mouth hanging open LOL. Needless to say, what Duke thought he was there to do, literally changed the minute the door shut and they were left alone… both their lives immediately started in a different direction. Problem is, is that there are others that are circling like sharks in the ocean that had and have everything to do with why their lives are the way they are… yes I’m being vague on purpose because this story is a doozy!

I absolutely LOVE Ramsey! She’s beautiful, talented and on a mission and no one is going to keep her from her end goal and that includes Duke Potter. But Duke has a plan of his own especially when a truth is revealed. And this revelation changes the trajectory of both of their lives and nothing will keep them from getting the truth. One of the things I love so much about this book is the love that Duke and Ramsey share. It became rapidly apparent that the love they shared all those years ago had never gone away and now the passion they have for each other is that much more intense.

Once they begin trying to figure out the truth of what happened, we see a completely different side of Duke. Especially when he brings one of his many past relationships into their circle who could just find the answer to their quest but also realizes why she and Duke never lasted…
As we get deeper and deeper into the who’s, what’s and why’s Ms. Marie took me on a journey that was gut wrenching agony but also a beautiful love that has been rediscovered. And as they get closer to the answers they seek and finally the truth is revealed, slack-jawed… I just couldn’t believe it!! That’s how enthralling Kristy’s writing is… I was so immersed in this book that the more I read, the more focused I was on wanting every truth that kept these two from each other for years, no matter the pain it may cause. I knew that we would get an HEA but I was stunned with what was discovered and revealed and not in this lifetime did I see it coming… that’s how spellbinding Kristy’s writing is. She draws you in and weaves a tale that you just can’t help become fully invested in. And the ending… what a setup for the last book in this series… I’ll be over here crossing the days off on my calendar until we get what I’m sure is going to be a cataclysmic story that wraps up everything this entire family has been through, both good and bad!

"She is- and always will be- mine. Because she promised me a life. And I'm back to collect."

I love love LOVED this book! It was intense, filled with emotions and some overwhelming moments. It made me fell every sensation throughout the story. Duke & Ramsey's story was passionate, full of longing and angst. I honestly couldn't put it down and I soaked up every single word. It was heartbreaking to discover what these two went through at a tender age. This is a second chance romance with years of separation. Duke & Ray were each other's first everything but they were torn apart by a tragic event though the real tragedy takes place when they discover a baffling news just after they reconcile. They had that kind of connection where you just know that they just belong together. Some scenes were really so ardent and I wasn't expecting this book to turn out the way it did but it was a beautiful surprise. I can't reveal much about the plot but I can definitely say that it had all the feels and I could emotionally connect with the characters. I can't recommend it enough!

This is book 3 in The Hands of The Potters Series. I highly recommend reading them in order otherwise things will be spoiled, and you also get a better understanding of them and their relationships with each other.

The Sculptor is beyond anything I could have imagined. Kristy cuts you down to your very marrow with Duke and Ramsey but then she pieces you back together. I knew going in that these two were something special, they are the kind of love that you could only hope to have, and that love transcends time, circumstance, family, lies and betrayal. It’s the kind of love you fight tooth and nail for. And that’s just what they do each in their own ways. I’m not going to say much because there’s so much in this book that could be ruined if you don’t go in blind.

I am obsessed with the dynamic between Duke and Ramsey you could feel every emotion, every tear, every memory, each time they were in the same room together. Their banter was one of familiarity and love. It’s the kind you have with someone who has the power to break you apart but also hold you together with the shear force of it. They are end game. They are wait soulmates are made of. The very fabric of each soul tethered together forever, gahhhhh I just can’t get over them. And I screamed when Duke unapologetically took matters into his own hands, my heart soared in that moment. Knowing Duke would do any and everything for Ramsey whether she liked it or not.

I broke for them and the paths that they were thrust upon. Not by choice but by family that had no right to interfere. These two lost so much time together. They lost so many memories they could have had and moments they could have celebrated. A part of me will never recover from all the lost and will never get back. Some things can never be replaced, and time is most definitely one of them.

The Potter brothers hit differently than Kristy’s other books. Each story crashes into you full force in ways that you could never prepare for. I’m still mad at her about The Refiner but I digress. These brothers are something extra special. They will shred you to your very core and bury themselves right into your marrow never leaving. Each book is so different than the one before but no less incredible. I live and breath for these men. Kristy is truly an extraordinary author; she breathes life into her books in ways that I couldn’t even begin to articulate. Her stories are full of heart, heat and depth that will without a doubt cause your entire being to ache. She will forever be a ride or die author for me. Definitely a MUST Read.

Mind officially blown!! Why is Kristy one of my favorite authors? THIS book, THIS right here! She is crazy talented and never ceases to amaze me. I thought I was prepared for Duke and Ramsey's story...but. I was not! This interconnected series continues to blow me away in the very best way (I'd read in order so you know all the characters).

I absolutely refuse to spoil this goodness for anyone...so, here's what you need to know....this is the BEST second chance romance ever written (yep, I said what I said)! The flashbacks are done beautifully, tying past and present seamlessly. Dual POV. Heartbreaking and heartwarming all at once....just be prepared to get all up in your feels! This is such a beautiful love story!

I can't get enough of the Potters! This book and this series is nothing short of PERFECTION! This isn't a want to read, it's a NEED to read!

Ramsey and Duke’s story is heartbreaking yet beautiful and I loved it to pieces. This one takes the place of my favorite book in the series, for sure.

The story is hooking and it managed to involve me completely, making me feel deeply for its characters, whom I loved. Ramsey is funny, determined, and strong-willed, and Duke is charmingly sarcastic, with a great sense of humor. I love how much they love each other, I could feel it soaking the pages.

The plot surprised me in the best way, a little mystery to keep you on your toes while being, in my opinion, completely unexpected.

I’m so happy I loved this book and I can’t wait to read the next one!

Dr. Duke Potter found his soulmate when he was young. Circumstances forced them apart, and a part of his soul has been missing ever since that time. Eighteen years later, he meets his soulmate again in a very unexpected place. Ramsey Ford is his soulmate; unfortunately, she is engaged to a power-hungry congressman, and has to pretend to be unaffected when confronted with Duke again. She has a plan, and Duke is definitely not a part of this part of the plan. Eventually, she wants him to be a part of it, but she has something she needs to do first, and being engaged to the congressman fits her plan.

This story is well-crafted and pulls readers in from the start. It also contains some unexpected surprises for unwary readers, and that ‘little something extra’ that movies it into the 5-star category. Duke and Ramsey’s story contains heartache, loss, yearning, and an extra dose of beauty and fun to make up for all of the lost years. It was a true joy to read! I have loved reading the story of each brother (this is the third of three), but this one is my new favorite. Both Duke and Ramsey have made huge sacrifices for each other, and each one has been living a half-life without the other. When they eventually get back together, it’s heartwarming! They still have to navigate some challenges, but they do get there in an extraordinarily beautiful way.

The pace is tight throughout, and the story flows flawlessly. Once you start reading, you will have a hard time putting this book down! There are flashbacks that set the stage for what happens in the latter parts of the book, and there is an extended epilogue that raises some questions that will be answered in a future book; however, this is not a cliffhanger by any means. It is just a tantalizing glimpse at the next book.

(I received an ARC for this book)

Trigger Warnings include:
If your triggers involve loss, of any kind, please ask before reading this. Including the sort of loss this is, would spoil the story.

All the things I want to scream from the rooftops about this book, I can’t. And it has nothing to do with not wanting to! But going into this blind, is the way this book is meant to be read. Read the blurb, maybe some quotes, read the first two books, but go in not knowing anything else about this book! I beg you! If you’ve read the first two books in this series, you can understand my love for these brothers, for these characters. You understand how protective I am of them. Understand the way I want to shield them from more hurt. If you thought the pain Vance and Astor suffered was a lot, it’s NOTHING compared to the pain Duke has endured. The pain he is going to go through. The Duke you’ve already fallen in love with is only half of who Duke is. A quarter. Before I even knew the situation, I already didn’t like it. I was ready for our Potter to swoop in and save the day and his girl. But, our Duke needed saving, too. And in true series fashion, his girl helped do that. Duke and Ramsey were soulmates from the moment they met as kids. Their stars aligned; they lit up the darkest of skies. My stomach and heart completely bottomed out when they crossed paths again. I was sure I was going to puke. My heart broke for them, time and time again. It still aches for them, for their years of pain. The more time we spent with them, the more I loved them, the more I hurt for them. Every mention of the past, even the least significant information, made my heart drop. You didn’t need to know everything to feel all the pain between Duke and Ramsey. The truth of their past…I felt the urge to yell through reading it. And then I did yell when when we got the full story. I cried, just staring at the wall in silence while the tears fell. My heart will forever ache for Duke and Ramsey, and who they were. Who they deserved to be. What they lost. I knew we were in for a painful ride, it had to keep in line with the rest of the series, but this was a different kind of pain. Duke’s love and kindness brought me to tears. The strength inside his heart, the admiration inside his heart for Ramsey knew no bounds. Truly beautiful, all consuming love. Every time my heart was ripped to shreds, their love pieced it right back together. I will go to war for these brothers, for their ladies, for Tatum and Remington.

I definitely consider this an interconnected series that doesn’t need to be read as a whole. However, if you plan to read this one (or the one that will follow) you need to read the first two. At LEAST the first one. Otherwise, you’ll be left with holes. Or details that'll just be words on a page when they were meant to carry emotions that a reader could only feel if they were attached to these characters in the way you would be after reading the rest of the series first. And if you don’t know and understand the characters and their own circumstances, I feel like a lot of the conversations involving them towards the end of this book could come off as rude, or careless. But if you knew them, you’d see it as loving and supportive.

My Favorite Quotes:
• “Ramsey Ford is, and always will be, mine.”
• “You’re never more beautiful than when you lie.”
• “You still are my only muse.”
• “Your home is here. It’s always been here.”
• “In no world will I ever not love you. My heart will always belong to you.”
• “I live for an audience of one.”
• “He was waiting for winter. He was waiting for you.”
• “Let me show you where your heart is.”
• “You know my patience is limited when you’re on your knees.”
• “You were made to kill me.”
• “Show me the way home.”

is the third stand alone in The Hands of the Potters series by Kristy Marie. A second chance romance with an abundance of emotion and a hard fought happy ending.

I learned a long time ago that true love only happens once in a lifetime.
I found my soulmate.
And then I lost him.

Dr. Duke Potter gave his heart away to Ramsey Ford when he was a teen. They went through something soul changing together and were ripped apart in the aftermath. Now 18 years later and their paths cross again, but Ramsey is to wed an old senator and Duke won't stop until he has her back. Ramsey is on a mission to get back at the men who destroyed her life but Duke throws a wrench in her plan. Now they have to work together to heal from their past and uncover the lies they were told.

There is no negotiation. No further conversations. Nothing will change my mind. This woman is done.
Ramsey Ford's fate is sealed.
She. Is. Mine.

I loved finally getting to know Duke, who up to know was shrouded in mystery and sarcasm. He has such a sensitive soul. My heart broke for him and the fact he's been grieving alone for 18 years. 😭 Ramsey was a great match for him. She's fierce and loyal and feels deeply. Their bond as teenagers was beautiful and it was moving to see them repair each others broken edges from all they went through. The sexual tension between them is intense from the moment Duke lays eyes on her again. From that moment on it's just endless tension, flirting and teasing that definitely delivers with its open door intimate scenes.

He needs to know that he's no longer alone—neither of us are.
Taking his hand, I move it to the heart on my chest.
His heart.
The one I've kept all these years is the one I refuse to give back.

Ahh there's so much I want to say and the actual plot but I can't because SPOILERS but just know this absolutely brings all the feelings. It's told dual point of view and alternated between present day and flashbacks of Duke and Ramsey's meaningful moments. I was not prepared for their history.😭 There's a revelation that I don't want to say I guess but I had a crazy hope for and was so excited was a thing , that doesn't make much sense but if you've read it then you know.

No matter the future, we will endure just as we always have.
Together.
Because a love like ours only happens once in a lifetime.
And ours isn't over yet.
It's just getting started.

The Sculptor
by Kristy Marie is a great addition to the series and I seriously CAN NOT wait for the next book! This one was filled with a hard fought second chance, sexual tension, steam, lies, healing, family, body painting, skipping rocks, and a happy ending.

My review for this book is going to be a little different from most others because even though I was devastated for what Duke and Ray had endured, I didn’t feel broken, this story felt like inspiration. Their story was full of secrets and surprises but I connected with these two in such a way that my heart and my head had already been prepared for what was to be revealed. Don’t think that means it was predictable because in no way was it. Their story was highly emotional on so many levels and had you holding your breath at times. It overflows with passion and determination. The witty banter gave a lightness to the intensity of the story that was needed at times. The love that flowed between Duke and Ray at times stole your breath. I cannot sing the praises of this storyline and the author enough. The ending leaves your heart full but so eager for the final book.

Kristy Marie completely delivered with such a heart warming book that is The Sculptor! Duke and Ramsey gave me life and they are just EVERYTHING!

This second chance, forbidden romance takes you on an emotional journey between Duke and Ramsey that really brought their love to life. There are so many secrets involved in their lives, figuring out who to trust and what is real is tricky.
The Sculptor is definitely a book that proves love can conquer all. Both Duke and Ramsey both are willing to be the strength of their relationship to continue to fight for their wants.
The book brings angst, emotion, chemistry, and so much steam. The banter is always a factor I love from Kristy Marie and she delivers it again with these characters in this series!

The idea of family in this series is stronger than ever. No matter what the Potter brothers are always their for each other. I definitely recommend this book! I also recommend the series. I am so excited for Remington’s book. He is such an enjoyable character!

This book!!🥹🥹 I knew Duke was going to be my favorite but I didn’t expect all the emotions this story would bring me. I loved reading his story with Ramsey and everything they went through to finally get closure and get the family they meant to have for years.

Ramsey always loved Duke but thanks to their parents they never got the chance to be happy at 18, they knew their love was stronger than anything but after a tragedy they were both forced to be apart. Now 18 years later Ramsey is doing everything to get answers to a secret their parents kept from them but then she saw Duke again and everything changed.

Duke was known to be a player but deep down he suffered alone with everything that happened when he was 18, he had a great relationship with his brothers and I loved how they helped him with the things he was going through. He never forgot about Ramsey and after seeing her again he did everything to get her back and found out what she was doing.

Their story is very angsty and I suffered a lot reading the things that happened to them in the past, at 18 they really loved each other and that love never went away even when they were apart for years. I loved their interactions, their steamy scenes and how comfortable they were with each other, they never stopped loving the other and reading their journey was definitely the best. A lot of things happened to them but they never gave up on each other and at the end I loved how they finally got the answers so they could have the family they wanted since they were 18.

I also loved reading about the previous characters and the banter between Duke, his brothers and Remington. The plot twist in the story was something I didn’t see coming so now I’m dying to read the last book and see more about Remi’s past and his future.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

Well Dr. Duke Potter, I didn’t expect you were hiding such a freaking heartbreaking story while holding your brothers and your medical empire on your shoulder! Kristy Marie definitely hit me deep and hard with all the unexpected breathtaking raw feels in The Sculptor. The angst. The messy feels. The sharp twists piercing my heart. This is the best Potter book definitely.

Dr. Duke Potter meets the painful past he has been trying to forget when he does a home visit for Congressman Langston. It appears his soulmate and his lost love Ramsey "Ray" Ford is engaged to him. She has an ulterior motive. She believes the Congressman holds a valuable information about their broken past. About someone they created and then failed to save..or they thought so.

Whoa whoa where did this come from? Kristy Marie has some serious explaining to do. You get childhood sweethearts. You get starcrossed lovers torn apart by manipulative influencing parents. You get a broken alpha man with all consuming love and devotions. You get a sweet and bold and fierce woman who is ready to sacrifice for love over and over again. And you get jaw dropping revelations. I seriously dropped my book and screamed WTF when the dots connected and that big secret was revealed. I was not sure if I want to cry like baby or laugh like crazy or send my therapy bill to the author. Because that plot twist..was evil genius. I love love love how heartbreaking this story is. Duke and Ray lost a lot and my heart hasn't stopped weeping for them. Their love is real and epic. And now they are facing their nightmares and fighting their inner demons Because they have something very precious waiting at the end of this darkness. This one should come with a warning about how irrevocably your heart is going to be damaged and then how painfully the author will bring healing. What an emotional rollercoaster from Kristy Marie.

Duke Potter and Ramsey Ford... O.M.Gee ALL THE FEELS

The Sculptor is the third book in the Hands of the Potters series by Kristy Marie and I swear this series just keeps getting better. This book holds well as a stand alone but I really think that it is best enjoyed when read in order, not only to get to know all the Potters but to also add that level getting to know Duke as a background character.

This book 😍 I don't know how Kristy finds the balance but this book has it all. There is suspense, angst and heat countered with playful humor, swoon and sweetness. I couldn't wait for Duke's story- I just needed to know who this woman was that he couldn't leave alone and why her involvement with him elicited such a reaction out of Vance and Astor. Every question I had got answered- while simultaneously leaving my jaw on the ground with twists in the saga I couldn't fathom. There were a couple moments when I had a brief "ooh I wonder if" that turned out to be right- but even then I wasn't prepared for it!

Duke's quick wit and sarcastic humor was the best- but his protective white knight personality when it came to his "winter" Sunny Ray had me in swoon city. Ramsey took a little longer for me to understand and enjoy as a character. That was in part to the swirling mystery around her and what had happened between her and Duke that almost 20 years later still affected them down to their cores. Each memory or flashback added something- sometimes it was just another piece to the mystery other times it was to rock everything I thought I knew about these two. Their connection was magical- the way they knew and understood each other despite the many many years apart just felt right.

I'm still in awe over how this story played out. I want more of Ray and Duke- I need more answers and some more closure. And I'm on edge waiting for the next book- I need more Potters and this last one has all the signs of being amazing.

“𝐍𝐨 𝐨𝐧𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐧𝐨 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐦𝐲 𝐰𝐚𝐲. 𝐑𝐚𝐦𝐬𝐞𝐲 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐢𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞, 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐞.”

I am truly a sucker for a second chance romance and Kristy Marie freaking brought it with Ramsey and Duke. I am seriously obsessed with the way Kristy creates these characters and worlds that give me so much life.

Duke Potter…I should’ve known his book would take me through. It’s the ones who hide behind the sarcasm and smiles that are the most angst ridden and broken.
Ramsey Ford, my heart hurt for her. I couldn’t imagine going through what she did. She was resilient and a fighter. I loved her stubbornness and the endless hope she carried with her.

“𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐤𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐰𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐞𝐥𝐬𝐞. 𝐇𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐰𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫.”
“𝐇𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐰𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮.”

The passionate devotion that Duke and Ramsey had for each other blew me away with its intensity.
I mean the way this man loved her and the way she was willing to sacrifice it all for him. She had his heart and he hers and there was nothing that would ever change that.
Not only was I on a journey of Duke and Ramsey finding their way back to each other but Kristy hit me with secrets and revelations that left me speechless and as devastated as the characters experiencing them first hand.

The humor and laughs were weaved in seamlessly courtesy of my beloved Remington. His one liners were a thing of comedic genius. He created the perfect balance of light with the heavy and emotional.

I was only 15% in and I just knew this book would bring me to my knees. That it would cement itself as a story I’d never forget. And it did just that. The Sculptor isn’t just one of my favorite second chance reads but one of my top reads of the year.

1 day, less than 24 hours and I was wholly and completely consumed with this book and these characters! Kristy has very quickly climbed the ladder as one of my absolute favorite authors, and the fact that ultimately these books are dedicated to Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior makes my love and connection to them even more!

Duke Potter is your sweet, mushy gooshy Potter Brother. His heart has belonged to the same woman since he was young, and he has never ever stopped loving her no matter what life has thrown at them, which includes some freaking HEARTBREAKING tragedy. But almost two decades later they get their second chance, and LET👏 ME👏 TELL👏 YOU👏 Duke does not let that chance go to waste.

Ramsey, YALL RAMSEY! I absolutely LOVED her! She is the perfect other half for Duke. She is witty, and would do anything for the people she loves, which ultimately takes her away from the man she loves and has her marrying a foul foul human being all to take care of someone she hasn’t seen in years.

And let me add this, I love spice, like LOVE IT, hunt and search books for it. And if this book had no spice, it would still be EXCEPTIONAL!! That’s how good the plot and the story is! But Kristy adds the perfect amount of reconnection and spice. It was so beautiful, YES I JUST SAID BEAUTIFUL.

This story had me in tears, had me gasping, had me screaming, and had me yelling, “I FREAKING knew it, I knew it!” Ughh I can’t get over how much I loved it! And don’t even get me started on Remington, his book is going to break me, it’s going to consume me, and it is going to be the perfect finale to complete this Potter Series!!

Duke and Ramsey fall in love, one big decision changes everything for them. They are ripped away from each other because of their families.

Many years later Dr. Duke goes for a house call and who happens to be there engaged to another man.. Ramsey..

This book definitely pulled at my heart strings and I was crying my eyes out, but I don’t mind when books pull at my emotionally.

Duke is definitely very stubborn and goes after what he wants which is Ramsey.. though he does go about it in an interesting way.

I loved how all the Potter brother really have each other’s back and don’t pass judgement on things that happen in the past when they are brought to light.

I think one of my favorite characters is Remington, he is such a ball buster and made me laugh so many time.

I know my review is a little vague in ways but I don’t want to give anything away about the story because the twist was a good one.
