The rulebooks, components, and configuration of this set are modified to introduce novices to D&D miniatures gaming. Basic skirmish concepts are presented in easy and fun manners. A 'Start Here' rulebook takes a step-by-step approach to all game elements. The figures in the set are selected from key D&D RPGs like Monster Manual, Monster Manual III, and Miniature Handbook, as well as the Eberron and Forgotten Realms campaign settings. Look for 10 randomized and 2 non-randomized minatures, as well as Stat cards for each miniature.

Me ha sorprendido gratamente encontrar el Starter Set para War of Drums, un juego de miniaturas basado en el universo de Dungeons & Dragons y que colecciono desde hace tiempo. En este caso, está aquí, en Goodreards, porque tiene un libreto explicando las normas básicas para las escaramuzas y el juego de miniaturas.
Se complementa con el Manual de Miniaturas para la edición 3.5 del jugo que, a parte de reglas para las escaramuzas y arena de las miniaturas oficiales, presenta nuevas reglas adaptadas a la versión 3.5 del jugo, para enfocar batallas campales y demás. Mola mazo.

McCaffrey again, proves her mastery of character and world development in this book. There's not much more to say without giving away the story. So, I will just say it was worth reading.
