✨ Another great book to read in one sitting ✨

Such an adorable comic book, yet thought-provoking, with cute art that sometimes is serious, educational, and playful. The book covers topics specifically about friendship with some real-life situations/issues in our life. It also touches on topics about ADHD, depression, and anxiety, mainly in the professional category. I love that this book has the most uncomplicated presentation and brings out the most relatable things.

I fell in love immediately just by looking at the cover. This book did give me a good laugh, and I could not count how many times I said "so sweet" while reading it 🥰

The contents are;
Friends - the family you choose
Family - the friends you don't choose
Love - really, really good friends
Yourself - the friend it's easy to forget
Professional - friend you're paid to hang out with

I believe this book's main message is that you should befriend yourself first before you friend others. Every relationship is essential in life; however, the most important relationship is to yourself.

Thank you, Times Reads, for the review copy 🫶🏻

Reflections and lessons learned/the content of this book made me feel…

“Raptor: ‘I’m stressed.’
Dino: ‘Try taking some deep breaths.’
Raptor *breaths differently… thinks ‘that wasn’t very deep… what’s wrong with my lung capacity? I’m dying!!’”

I mean, it’s all just there in each cartoon: in love, friendship, anxiety, coping methods. This one does feel a bit lighter and cheesier in places than the previous two, but still a fantastic books, suitable for anyone that’s trying to deal with life with the natural life gusto of second guessing! The intro warmed my heart with author update news, but I hope that the last page isn’t heralding the end of something so fab…?

Some are so beautiful they make everything around them seem dull and grey. But you are so beautiful, you make everything around you seem bright and full of life.

Another winner in this adorable and heartfelt collection, after Dinosaur Philosophy and Dinosaur Therapy.

There are so many relatable comics here and I enjoyed how they are split into segments of:

♡ Friends ("the family you choose")
♡ Family ("the friends you don't choose")
♡ Colleagues ("friends you're paid to hang out with")
♡ Romantic love ("really, really good friends")
♡ Self ("the friend it's easy to forget" 🥹): How accurate is this?!

I also thought this third book has the best colour palette and illustrations. Overall, an excellent companion offering solace and friendship (duh) through wry humour and catchy dialogue.

I'm so invested in dinosandcomics now. I really wanted to buy dinosaur therapy to complete my collection.

For Dinosaur Friendship, it's mainly about hope. The previous two books, the author has focused on depression. But this time the focus of the comic has shifter slightly from depression to jope, both because he's got his depression more under control and because he's come to realize that hope is more important and fulfilling to write about.

I enjoyed reading Dinosaur Friendship a lot! The humors are 100% top notch. I'm easily amused by the way. The comics is divided to 4 contents which are friends, family, love, yourself and professional. My most favorite contents are friends, love and yourself. This book is engaging and everyone should read it!

Thank you Times Reads for sending a copy of Dinosaur Friendship in return for an honest review. This book is available at major bookstores.

Hardback

The third book in this series that I've brought for my sister. Compared to the other two, the panels are more cheerful and entertaining. The romantic ones are sweet and there are ones that made me laugh. I liked the triceratops. Could've done without Jessica. The last page was bittersweet.

I think I have seen some of these dinosaur comics online earlier so when I saw this little book in the library, I had to pick it up. There were a lot of relatable strips about different situations that I had to take a picture of with my phone.

Unfortunately, this was my last read book in 2025 because I ended up having a massive reading slump the rest of the year.

Got this as a gift and while it's cute, the humour swayed too self-depricating for me. As someone not too familiar with this series of comics, that might be part of the brand, but from the cover design and everything I expected it to be more wholesome.

“Dinosaur Friendship” is a cute and heartfelt illustrated book that delves into themes of connection. I must admit though, that I enjoyed the previous read by him “Dinosaur Philosophy” a lot more.

While it’s a sweet read, I found that much of the content focused heavily on ADHD, which didn’t fully align with what I expected from a book about friendship. Additionally, some parts felt a bit repetitive. On the other hand, the illustrations were charming as expected.

Overall, it’s an enjoyable book, but I personally found “Dinosaur Philosophy” more impactful and engaging. If you’re a fan of James Stewart’s work, it’s still worth checking out for the thoughtful themes and stunning art style.

Und, was ich auf jeden Fall mitnehme: "Are you looking for solutions or support?" (S. 29)

The latest in this series of books is still just as sweet and sentimental as the first two. With chapters that illustrate chosen families and trusted relationships, the range of the human experience - ny way of dinosaur cuteness - is once again beautifully depicted here.

I love so many pages of this book, and I love Jenia for thinking of me when she saw it 😆

One thing is that the organization of the different sections seemed pretty random, but that's not why we're here, is it?

I really enjoyed this! There were multiple pages that I really related to and understood and also a handful of pages I actually found myself laughing out loud at! I think if you enjoyed Dinosaur Therapy and Dinosaur Philosophy you would like this on too!

Even dinosaurs struggle with maintaining friendships and how to allow them to help. The dinosaurs show how everyone reacts to situations differently, especially if their minds are heavy. I found that the grumpy triceratops is so lovable and endearing.
