Surf, sun, and power over lightning itself. What more could a guy ask for?
When I went to my buddy's Caribbean bachelor party, I expected to see white sand beaches, crystal blue waters, and troves of gorgeous women. I didn't expect an assassination attempt. The gorgeous mermaid who saved my life has more scales than I'm normally into, but that's not all she has. When she reveals that I can bend both water and lightning with my bare hands, that's when I get really interested. Her magical world is filled to bursting with beautiful women who need my help. I'll need to master water and lightning, if I want to call myself Storm Mage and crush the evil that threatens her world. It's a tall order on the best of days. Luckily, I won't be alone. A gorgeous foxgirl fire mage would do anything to stand by my side. When we meet a beautiful squid woman who literally fights great white sharks for fun, our capabilities only grow. Still, only a Storm Mage can crush the evil warlord bent on destruction and death. My women are potent warriors, but they still need me and my magic to save their world. I'll do everything I can to protect these beauties, and stop the evil warlord dead in his tracks. This novel contains sunny beaches, battles against fearsome beasts and high flying adventure.
Awful writing. Just couldn’t make it through chapter 3. None of the characters reactions feel natural and the presentation of setting by the MC returning to consciousness was just annoying. No thank you. Would not recommend.
At my request I received a copy of this audiobook in order to give a fair and unbiased review.

Narrators Voice diversity: Well done. Everyone has their own voice. Pacing and intonation: Really well done. The story telling carries you away. Sex scenes: Work well. Patrick DuBois and Hannah Blaire does a great job in this book. Overall: 4.5 / 5 stars.
The book’s strengths. - I really love the scenes of the MC interacting with the children. They are well written and super wholesome. - This book does a great job of introducing the world and setting the stage for the rest of the series. - The sex scenes are well done. - Great narration
The book’s weaknesses. - Other than race and skill sets the girls don't feel very different. I would love for them to show more personality and opinion.
I love story's like this you know the ones that run smoothly from one scene to another but it is slitly ruined by how many misspellings and rongly placed pronouns it was really annoying having to improvise and think of the rite word to make it make sense I hope the author gets a better writer next time this could have been a five star instead of a three
Decent idea, I felt that the sex scenes both came and went too quickly My main problem tho were typos...lot of instances where instead of the proper word that would be another word or one word would be missing from the sentence
Very likable characters (except the bad guys. Boo! Hiss!) A bit heavy on the adult theme but enjoyable and a fun read. Hoping Mark makes this a long life series.
