He is Professor Emeritus of social epidemiology at the University of Nottingham, having retired in 2008. He is also Honorary Professor at University College London.
He is best known for his 2009 book (with Kate Pickett) The Spirit Level, in which he argues that societies with more a equal distribution of incomes have better health outcomes than ones in which the gap between richest and poorest parts society is greater. His 1996 book Unhealthy Societies: The Affliction of Inequality had made the same argument a decade earlier.

I enjoyed your story very much. Your characters were engaging; bad guys and good guys. I love that your story ended on a hopeful note and that the ending wasn't simply a tease for a sequel. I can see that you have many more stories to tell in your creative mind. Thanks again😎

A beautiful classic fantasy journey filled with an entourage of curious, bold characters. The journey is vast and the author does a deft job of writing swift action and fast-moving narrative. HIGHLY recommended for those who want a clean and captivating fantasy story.
