I’ve dedicated my life to saving people. First for the Navy and now for my club. So, there isn’t a chance in hell that I would allow the most infuriating woman I have ever meet to give up on life. Not only does it go against everything I believe in, but I just can’t imagine a world where she’s not annoying me. Does that make me a selfish prick? Maybe. Ask me if I care. NO, I don’t. Because at the end of the day, no amount of cursing this Latin spitfire can throw at me will ever change my mind. Life is worth fighting for. So, she’s not allowed to give up on me. Hot sex, fires, stalkers and romance...
Cody/Doc./Master, are all the same person, we commonly know him from the past books as Doc to the MC. He was a medic in the marines. We know he has a past history of ptsd, a clinic that he owns as well as a very private elite BDSM club that even most of the MC doesn't know he owns, or so he thinks.
Marisol we meet in a previous book, Dorian, where she saved Cody's life but is left paralyzed from the waist down. She has lost her will to live and begs to die instead of living her life in a wheelchair. Cody wants to save her just as she saved him but is finding it incredibly difficult to help someone that doesn't want to be helped. She gets to the point of starving herself when Cody decides that she has no will to live being, trapped in the clinic, so he moves her into his house. You can tell he is starting to have feelings more than just a care giver, but he knows she is not only his patient but she is a lesbian. Can she ever have the same feelings for him?
As he is trying to bring Marisol back with the living, the MC has all kinds of issues going on.
Arson fires are being committed all over their town and despite the Fire Marshal, the MC's own Cane, brother to Abel, vigilance of trying to find out who is setting these fires and displacing all of these poor families. Since the club hasn't been able to stop this and find out who the perpetrator is they do the next best thing and organize a huge fundraiser to collect money for the victims. While this is going on Cody ends up with his own crazy stalker that he ends up knowing, but not very well.
You have to read to not only try and figure out who is setting these fires, who is obsessed with Cody. But also does Marisol have the same feelings for Cody? Can a relationship that started of by saving one another, a patient/caregiver relationship ever really work? Can Marisol ever see herself with a man? Can the MC actually accept Cody to still care for them medically and take him seriously when they find out about his sex club? You just have to read this book to find out the answers to some of those questions. I promise it has as much sex, romance, and suspense that can be packed into one book.

Humor, Spicy and Thrilling– MorningStar MC
I had the pleasure to read D. Williams, MorningStar MC series. This is my first experience reading about motorcycle clubs (MC). And D. Williams did not disappoint. She offers a glossary of slang associated with the MC and that is very helpful to people new to this world. She also provides the hierarchy of the MorningStar MC along with who is who. This allowed me to follow the characters with the club names while I started into this series.
The series follows each of the main club members and how they found their partners or what they call “old lady” or “old man”. Their stories are captivating, spicy and will pull at your heartstrings. The love these characters show for each other is what any reader would want for themselves.
Each book has romance, spice, thrill and even terror. Oh did I say spice…… The love stories are mixed with everything you could hope for from age gap, MMF, BDSM, and goes on. The spice is there and I love it’s not a slow burn relationship. She gives you what you are seeking and some! You see the love each member has for their MC family and their loyalty that is earned. You become engrossed into their world and you can’t stop. You get your fill and when the book ends, you jump right to the next one.
Cody is the club doctor. He meets his medical challenge with the patient he’s trying to save doesn’t want to be. Does he give up on her or make her believe that life is worth living….if it’s with him??
D. Williams doesn’t stop here with this series. Oh no! She continues the stories in her spin off, MorningStar MC – Reno Chapter. It’s not complete yet, but she does not disappoint with this series either. It’s just as good as the original MorningStar MC and I can’t wait to see that to completion either!

I've been wanting to read this story since both characters were presented in the previous books.
I knew that their story would be intense so I couldn't start it fast enough.
D. Williams is the author of said story and guys, she's awesome.
Each book is spectacular and I can't get enough of it.
Her writing is raw and wild, intense, dark and so much more.
Cody is the fourth book from the Morningstar MC series and explores the lives of Cody and Marisol.
Guys, despite the fact that these books are standalone, I advise you to read this series from the beginning because some events take place in the previous book.
Cody's life revolves around the medical field. Not only was he a doctor while in the Navy, but when he got out he kept his profession in the MC.
In a mission for his MC, he meets this feisty woman and now he'll do anything to save her, mainly from herself.
Marisol is a field agent. She's used to the fight, to hard work, and lately, she was undercover.
When one mission hurts her badly, her only thought is to die but an infuriating man won't let her be... Now...
My lord... This series is getting better by the book...
I'm so into it that I'm thinking about the next book before the current one ends. Lol

Amazing plot, well written, super engaging, and intense.
Each chapter was even more addictive than the latest and I couldn't stop.
These two have so many phantoms haunting them that you can feel them.
How can you live if you've lost your way? How can you keep fighting when you want to disappear?
This book talks about one serious problem, suicidal and we need to be aware and on the look to help.
Life is a challenge and you need to fight.
Guys, the hot stuff... Oh lord have mercy... It was wild.
Can't wait to start the next book.

D. Williams was a new to me author but at this moment in time, I'm all caught up & totally addicted to this series. Cody/Doc (road name) is the MorningStar MC's doctor & man he's one of those men who still waters run deep. He has a side gig of his exclusive club that he's never let his brother's know about because he needs it. Marisol is a woman who has severe PTSD, and wants to kill herself in the worst way but Cody has desided that he's not going to allow her to, so he moves her in with him. She's in a wheelchair & can't do much for herself which is a big part of why she's over life but is it permanent at the end of the day?! They have a tumultuous relationship which has a lot of sparks flying on top of whatever she's willing to throw at him which did have me laughing quite a bit. There's a lot in this story with some suspense, crazy interactions, super sexy times, and a great group of supporiting cast who only added more humor to the mix so seriously, you really don't want to miss out. I have to say I'm dying for Cane's story now especially after the tease so I'll be waiting impatiently! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Just when she's decided to end it all, she realizes Cody has become her reason to live again. Cody fought for her when her will wasn't strong enough to go on. During all their squabbles and her tantrums, they fell in love with each other. But love isn't always easy and sometimes adversity comes along to test you. I made it through book 4 but calling it quits
As much as I want to read more of these books all the unnecessary errors is driving me crazy and I feel like I’ve been robbed of money. The stories are great and I LOVE the characters BUT I can’t handle all the weird word mistakes being made. Even having one beta or proofreader would have prevented this but the books just eel to get worse...
Sorry, I tried. I’m quite disappointed that the stupid mistakes have finally been too much that I’m giving up on the whole series. This one ramped it up so badly that there’s parts of dialogue that I STILL can’t figure out who said it, quite frustrating. I was so hoping the author would get better but by this book, it seems to be getting worse. Maybe if she ever decides to go back and fixes these multiple mistakes I’ll try again but I doubt that’ll happen.

This book has tons of love humor bdsm Dom antics angst loyalty twist and turns with banter. Cody also known as doc was a medic in the marines suffers from ptsd has his own clinic for the Mc and a bdsm club. Docs life was saved by Marisol a atf agent and in the process she became paralyzed from the waist down with no will power to live so he moves her into his place and starts to fall in love with her. Marisol is a lesbian and it seems like is their any chance at love for doc and her? Short answer is they fall in love she is under the clubs protection and when they finally have sex she gets feeling back in her legs. She faked her death they figure out she's alive and try to find her. Cody we find out has a stalker. This book gives you each of their backstory then get to read their story together along with of course some of the other mc club members intertwined into this book.

Another piece of the puzzle
Sooo...I am four deep into this series and I can't stop my binge!! It's just so engaging and entertaining.
(And to think, I was going to stop reading after Abel! Silly...)
This series still needs editing, as sometimes words are spelled wrong or periods randomly show up, but - knowing that, I still recommend reading this. Overlook the grammar and spelling mistakes and you can enjoy this for the entertainment factor alone. It's pretty creative and keeps me flipping pages. It would certainly be better with the edits, but I hear that's happening soon.

Cody and Mirsol are like petrol and a match, combustible, and although he finds her totally infuriating, he cannot imagine his life without her in it, and refuses to allow her to give up. These two both have challenges to overcome individually as well as together. This is a well written emotional roller coaster, with angst, loyalty, twists, with banter, humor, crazy antics, and love, which all leads to a riveting page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Wow, Doc and Mari are awesome. I wasn't sure how it was going to go at the beginning of this book as I'm not into BDSM.
These two together are like fire and ice. At the beginning of the book it was like ice with them together but you could feel the steam by the end that steam was fire. There was very little mention of BDSM, which made it easier for me to read.

I was on a emotional roller coaster with the story. Doc and Marisol are the definition of opposites attract but they worked together. They grow on each other and he can’t imagine his life without her in it. These two have so many challenges to overcome both individually and together that try to tear them apart. I liked the kink aspect of the story it was done tastefully. I can’t wait to see where the series is going!

Hope with a twist of Kink
Cody & Marisol's story was nothing like I expected, it was so much more touching difficult subjects in a realistic way combined with 2 strong characters that were far from perfect, which made the story a bit too real at times. Really enjoyed the interaction with the rest of the MC family, nothing is sacred, and Abel makes sure to keep everyone on their toes, including the reader enjoy

Cody combines two of my favorite things, MC & BDSM! Cody/ Doc is a retired military medic and keeps the club and family healthy. He is also one heck of a hot Dom! This is book four in the series and it does not disappoint! Marisol is one hell of a challenge for Doc but being the dominant he is...challenge accepted!

Really enjoyed Cody(Doc) and Marisol’s story. These two were explosive together. Their chemistry was at risk of melting my kindle. So hot!

It was great reading Doc's story. He faced many obstacles getting Marissa back to normal. It was not and easy road but I loved every minute of this story. Check out the new book in the Morningstar Series.

I’ve finally got my hands on Cody’s story and boy did it take me on a ride I wasn’t expecting.
Marisol likes to keep Doc on his toes and together they just work, it’s explosive!
This was an emotional read that I bloody loved!

Wow. This book was HOT. We finally find out more about Cody. I couldn't put book down once started.
