A Forgotten Past, A Curse, and Deception. Az, Ash, Tyler, and Benji formed an irreplaceable bond, but their friendship didn’t start out this way. Life wasn’t easy for Kat’s men, and without a pack to have their back, it’s been a challenge to fit in a place where they don’t belong. All they want is a fresh start and to have a purpose, even getting there means working for the hated council. At the academy it isn't friendship at first sight, it's all about seeing who can prove to be the best even if it means killing each other.
Just when they think they’ve made it and secured a job with the council, they’ve realized they may be playing into the hands of the very one’s they’re trying to kill.
Their actions and their past hold secrets.
What will happen when those secrets are unraveled?
Def a great origin story for the fellas. I love how interlaced their destinies are. I also see how this author is so inspired by the show Vampire Diaries, it has all that over the top drama with great steam! Onto book 3!
I didn’t know I needed this story until I read it. It was wonderful to read each of the Alphas origin stories leading up to meeting Kat. Now I’m left bereft because I need that next book and I am reminded of the ending of Cursed Wolf all over again. I need it!! I need answers!! Great read, definitely a most needed addition to the series.

𝘼𝙡𝙥𝙝𝙖'𝙨 𝙊𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙨 𝙗𝙮 𝘼𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙘𝙖 𝘼𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙚𝙨 is a quick novella that provides you the backstory of Tyler, Ash, Az and Benji before they met Kat. We get to see and finally understand their own trauma and get to know exactly what they went through before becoming brothers.

This book was the perfect way to get you all the details we all wanted to know after reading first two books in this series, and also a perfect little distraction while we patient wait until the next book is released!

The Alphas Origin is the Prequel novella to The Iron Beast pack. I am not too familiar with this series, however, I can easily follow as it doesn't pertain to the FMC of the Iron Beast Pack. Instead, it was the male MMCs of that series and the trauma that was inflicted on them. It was also the first time I've read Angelica Aquiles' book. The story was heartbreaking and rough but also how the guys came together and formed a pack. It was definitely intriguing and really makes me want to go back and start this from the beginning
Just to make everyone aware, this is not a full length story. This is a novella. This story gives you the back story of Benji, Ash, Az, and Tyler. Kat does not make an appearance in this story.
That being said, I really enjoyed getting to know how the guys came together as a pack. I have had this series on my TBR for a while, and reading this novella just made me bump it up my list. I cannot wait to see how things work out for the pack.

Oh my goodness, I am so happy I got to read this! This is the perfect book to hold me over until the next book comes out. I do like getting the backstory to all of the guys before they had Kat in their lives. It's a great short read, we see how they come together as a pack and what they went through.
I can't wait for the rest of this series to come out, I am sure it's going to be amazing!
Yet another great addition to a series I've come to love. The first book caught me by surprise and I have read them all up to this. It is book 3 and I know there's at least one more book coming. This is a book on the shorter side making it perfect to read on an evening. It gives some backstory on Tyler, Benji, Ash and Az. I really enjoyed that as it gives perspective from before they met Kat.
This is such a great book about the four Alpha's. Now we know how they all meet, and how they were cursed. This story starts from the very beginning. You are introduced to each alpha at a certain time in their lives and you follow their journey to the right before they meet Kat. You definitely want to read this book. You won't be disappointed.
From the beginning… Angelica Aquiles’ novella which is a prequel to the ‘Iron Beast Pack’ series really opens your eyes to the guy’s background. It seems almost all of them came from a tragic past. It also explains how a few side characters are tied into the current storyline. I loved this book so much that I can’t wait for the new book to come out. Highly recommended and definitely a MUST read!
The story was there. The characters were there. But it’s like no one edited the book for the author? I felt like I was reading a high schoolers attempt at a novel. Overall, just time wasted, but I was intrigued enough by the storyline to see where it went.
Yes! This is the part of the story I've been missing since book 1. I love backgrounds being shared it helps to sort out why the characters grew into who they are now. I cried when Az and Benji were broken with what they lost. I was angry for the mistreatment of Ash. Thank you!
This is coming out after the other books as kind of like a prequel novella. I have not read those but after reading the origin story I am inclined to read them. This goes over where this pack first started how they all became one. The one thing that I wished I saw but I’m thinking that I’m missing because I haven’t read the other books is the females perspective. They keep talking about the female especially towards the end. But I really enjoyed this book again just a little disappointed but I also know that because I haven’t read the previous books that would explain why I didn’t get the perspective of the female that I would have liked to have received in this origin story.
Ekkkkks. This book was amazing. This book is exactly like the title says its the origins of the Iron Pack. This book explains why the guys are they way they are. This book brings us up too book one. I'm very excited for the next book in this series.
This is a novella that was such an amazing read!! It gives us the backstory of I didn’t know I needed!! I loved finding out more about Benji, Az, Tyler and Ash! It was a really enjoyable and easy to read story! I would definitely recommend it!!
I enjoyed this novella of how the guys came together and where they started. Reading each of their origin stories and how they came to be who they are made me realize why some of them do the things they do. I am really excited to read the next book now after reading this!
This novella is a quick read. It provided so much back story on Tyler, Benji, Ash and Az. This is an enjoyable read with some heavier topics. This fills in so many of the blanks a mix of what I wanted to know and what I didn't know I needed to know. This is a great origin story for the Iron Pack.
This was really good at filling in gaps of the mates' childhoods (which by the way, read the trigger warnings, they suffered bad!). I think maybe this should be read first although it was a good mini time travel before continuing on current day.
It was extremely cool to get this origin story about the curse. I wish I would have read it first to get a better understanding because I was so confused reading the first two books but it was really good!
Finally got some character building that book 1 was lacking. The appearance of "Theodore" (54%) seems predictable to me especially after. Dan/Dante in the previous book. Hopefully the next book rounds everything off nicely.
Interesting premise, Improvement of writing as the series progresses.

Set in the distant past (mostly) .A very nice explanation and points at the reasons for a number of mysteries in the first 2 stories. But Kat is not in it so not quite as good as the first 2.
This was an amazing book. I love how we got more backstory to the guys. Benji, Az, Tyler and Ash are 🥵 I couldn’t get enough of their story. I need more.
Loved getting the origin story of the guys and "how it all started". It just brought so much more life to the characters and why they are the way they are.
