Ryohgo Narita (成田 良悟, Narita Ryōgo) is a Japanese light novelist. He won the Gold Prize in the 9th Dengeki Novel Prize for Baccano!, which was made into a TV anime in 2007.[1] His series Durarara!! was also made into a TV anime, which began airing January 2010

There are two traits found in most of Narita's works:
* Narita writes extremely fast, one volume a month if he wishes - with tons of spelling errors and missing words as a tradeoff. The editors like to leave them sometimes just for fun, though.
* His work titles often have an exclamation mark at the end (i.e. Baccano!, Vamp!, Durarara!!, etc.).

Kanji names: 成田 良悟 & 成田良悟.

Senator Beriam is an idealistic man who thinks that the ends justify the means. When he learns of Huey’s escape from Alcatraz, he knows something needs to be done. Because Huey sees other people as guinea pigs in his experiments. He needs to be stopped for the public good. So he sends the former Felix Walken and Sonia on a special mission.

Nader thinks his bad luck and bad karma is finally changing for the better now that he’s gained the rich Eve Genoard’s trust. She’s his ticket into the casino. But the many mistakes of his past keep coming back to haunt him.

The Runorata family opens their new casino in style. But one of its employees is only out for one thing: revenge. He’s already kidnapped Ennis. And he’s only just begun.

The Martillo family has been under attack before, but never on this scale. Ennis has been kidnapped. And Ronny, their strongest member, is off dealing with some personal problems. They’re scared, battered and beaten. But they’re also out for revenge. They know who’s responsible. But did he act alone? Or is he backed by the powerful Runorata family? Because the Runorata family is not a crime organization they want to mess with if they can prevent it, they vastly outnumber the relatively small Martillo family. But if they are behind the attack, the Martillo family is prepared to go to war.

The stakes are raised here and then some. And the tension can be cut with a knife. I also like how pretty much all the characters of the previous books are all coming together in what already feels like an epic finale of the series. The characters are all fleshed out well and feel very unique and genuine, which is quite impressive when there’s more than thirty characters to keep track of in a series. It feels like a celebration of everything Baccano stands for, because that’s what this series does so well. It gives each character an interesting story, making them the protagonist of their own story. And then it just lets multiple storylines come together in one book, interweaving all those little interesting stories into one bigger and more exciting story. Or as the author puts it: each individual is a whirlpool and when multiple whirlpools collide, they create a raging vortex of destiny.

I do hope we are getting closer to a Conclusion, with this long twisty Saga. I am still enjoying the novels, but there are so many, with so many characters and groups of characters. It gets tough to keep track of them all.
In this volume a Mafia group is opening a huge Casino, and inviting all the various power groups to opening weekend. Some just to gamble, some to set-up their own rooms. What could go wrong? Their is a Kidnapping before opening night, that sets various groups against each other. While other groups stand back to watch.
A Usual Bacano novel, entertaining, with lots of characters but can be tough to keep track of all the happening.
