I am so excited with every released part and none has let me down!!!
The suspense, the mystery, the romance, the angst, the bonds, the revelations, the twists, the humour, are fabulous and there is nothing to spoil my interest or attention!!!
All characters are so fascinating, the suspenseful part of the plot is never the same but always intriguing, the romantic part keeps developing and the writing style is eloquent, animated and compelling.
All parts are interconnected and they end with a cliffhanger (regarding the romantic element of the story).
Only two more parts to complete the series... 😥

You could read this book as a standalone, but I'd recommend that you don't. (All books in this suspense/romance series are in kindle unlimited.)
This is the continuing story of Minka and Archer. She's a medical examiner and he's a police detective. She's also a vigilante serial killer and his brothers are mafia. Minka and Archer fall for each other in book one, so their relationship is now a couple months old.
The focus murder investigation in this book is solved, so no cliff hangers there. The relationship backstory continues throughout however, and there are lots of side characters and friends. There are several steamy romance scenes, some dark murder scenes and plenty of action. 4.5 stars.

Another start to finish perfection
Emilia Finn continues to write the best collection of books I have ever read. Funny, emotional, characters are ALL worth investing in and the storyline steals your power to out the book down. Thank Goodness I’m retired now or I would have lost my job the first time I picked up the first Emilia book I ever read. She is just that freaking good.
This book was no exception….It is just GOOD! Archer and Minka are so special and are so good together. Then you toss in the others (Tim-Have Mercy). Here is the deal, I could sit and ramble on but the fact of the matter is, everyone needs to just start reading and you will be hooked like the rest of us. It’s the best kind of addictive drug. I swear you will not regret it!
Here’s my final thing….absolutely no distractions in Emilia’s writing. No typos or wrong names or weird transitions to the next chapter or even paragraph. That matters to me and she is a force to be reckoned with as well as her team in putting out quality reading.

Those Malones!
Minka is determined to remain stubborn and strong. Fletch makes my laugh and I love Mia and want to cuddle her close. Archer... I didn’t think he could be insecure. Tim is so frustrating and Aubree... she breaks my heart with her love. Oh, I love these characters, I adore this world, and I need more!

Emilia does it again
What an amazing book. I love Emilia's writing style and the way she brings her characters to life with soul. The Mayet Justice series is no different except we stay in Minka and Archers point of view which means we get to see more of their depth. Desire was no different we watch as Minka and Archer navigate their relationship whist dealing with the drama that unfolds around them. Absolutely a must read!

DNF @ 28% OK….its been the same plot line the past 3 books with NOTHING changing. The push and pull between Minka and Archer, the unrequited love Aubrey has for Tim, Fletcher the flirt who now struggles with raising his daughter….ALL. The. Same. This needs to be concluded and maybe focus on Fletcher’s story or Aubrey’s story. 2*time to move on*stars

More Archer and Minka, plus in this book we got to have a little view from a couple side characters! I love the dynamic between the WHOLE group! The underlying crime to solve in this book is pretty intense and potentially mentally draining.
Once again, the cases they work bring just as much drama as their relationship. The same relationship where they are NEVER on the same page! Marriage or no marriage, that is the question. I’m not sure how this will all pan out, we have two books left and some very much loose ends in regards to Archers family. Very loose.
As always I loved Minka and her strength. The love she gives to other, even when she is reluctant to do so, is intense. She is scared to love because she is scared to loose! And the ultimate question, to save a child or save Archer….. she made the impossible, possible.
I am bummed that Aubree found out about the Malone family the way she did, BUT, I do hope that now that she nows, her and Tim can finally just be. Fletch needs someone too! Someone to love him and moo!
Overall, I enjoyed my dose of Bones like drama in the form of Archer and Minka. Will Archer accept his birthday present or will he throw it all away and scar Minka forever??

Emilia Finn is my home girl. She has yet to write a sucky book. Sinful Desire sticks true to her recipe of engaging plot lines, witty banter, and lol one-liners.
Sinful Desire continues the saga of Chief Medical Examiner Minka Mayet and Detective Archer Malone and their family/friends/coworkers in Copeland City. I can’t give away a whole lot, because major #spoilers, but Finn is worth the time and energy. With over 50 titles under her belt, she releases her new titles close together, so there’s no forgetting the plot in between release dates (which I have an unfortunate tendency to do.)
Start this series with Sinful Justice. Or better yet, take it alllllllllllll the way back to Bobby and Kit in Finding Home. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, and you’ll laugh some more.

I'm officially done with the female characters and female POVs of this series. (Aubrey and Mayet I'm looking at you guys)

1. a sweet little housewife's more important worry is whether the cake is baked or not
2. When a detective asked her out on a date, she actually said that I'll file a complaint of sexual harassment against you and even in the previous books she very casually says to men around him (even the male lead) that you are sexually harassing me when they were not doing anything even close.
3. She is a hypocrite person who gets unreasonably angry on silly things, she literally gets angry when the city's mayor calls her.
And our own Aubrey will be awarded for the most pathetic female character

This series just keeps getting better
I am definitely biased, as I am a huge fan of Emilia Finn’s stories. However, I want to share the love for her characters, their quirks and their issues, with the rest of the world. This is book 4 in an unknown number of books in the Mayet Justice series. The books can be read as standalone, but much like a crime drama on television, you will pick up on more and enjoy it more thoroughly if you start at the beginning. Then, once you’ve gotten caught up, go back and read the other series by Ms Finn, since those characters pop up occasionally in this series.

once again, TV series, please!!
So second time reading the series was just gonna scan through to refresh my memory because there’s some books I haven’t read but what the hell I had to just read it because it’s so damn good. The story is well written I love all the characters. I love how they interact with each other And Emilia whoever ever told you no one would be interested. They are so full of it because girl, I’m all up in it. The only drawback is having to wait on a book because my memory is not like it used to be and I forget things but once again I would love to see this as a TV series. I think it would be off the chart.

Another amazing installment of the Archer & Minka ride!!
Sinful Desire is Book 4 in the Mayer Justice series, where Minka and Archer go on their first official date out… and find a body. It’s an intriguing case with its own twists, but as usual, there’s always other storylines going on at the same time to keep you on the edge of your seat as well! I’m so invested in all these characters, I couldn’t put this book down. I read it straight through and ignored everything around me! It gives you everything—suspense, sizzling chemistry, emotions, drama, laughter, banter, action, and more! I can’t wait for the next one!!

Couldn't put it down
Anothee Amazing one from emilia finn as always she proves why we all can't wait to get our hands on the next book from her.
This story was amazing I couldn't put it down.
You fall in love with all these characters and their stories and Archer and Minka are no different. And with mayet series you get to keep Archer and Minka. Unlike Finns other books she doesn't switch each book for different characters we continue to follow Archer and Minka. With an occasional snip from someone else.

This was my favorite & takes a spot above book1.
The murder was sucha mystery & romance too good.
I grieved for the live lost & stolen but the climax was pretty explosive & Iam get gang made an entrance. I was tired about all talk & no show. I wanted more but this was good too.
Archer & Minka are so good even tho Minka’s an annoying brat sometimes. I understand her psychology tho so good work I guess?
I would’ve liked Tim having his own book I guess but that’ll be an entirely different genre.

I read it because I feel like I should. But I don’t feel like it’s where it should be for the style of book Finn is trying to create. A least the storyline grows with the discovery that Felix is in the same city “tying up loose end.” How Minka didn’t realize who he was at the diner I’m not sure. At least they have moved on to an extent from their commitment issues. It’s kind of a big jump but hopefully it settles life a bit. There just something missing and I’m not sure what that is just yet.

Then it did!! It got better though I don't know how you improve perfection! It's still full of suspense, action, humor, sexy times and some secrets just can't stay hidden. Minka and Archer try to find who killed a young mother and possibly stole her newborn. Fletch is trying to be what Mia needs and Aubree is still hoping Tim will give her the time of day. On to book 5!!!

I’m way too invested!
These are getting better and better.. I’m hooked even if I have stuff to do or work I want to read and without a doubt I always end up on a cliffhanger.. no matter where in the book I end up wanted to read more and it’s both incredible and annoying! 😅
I’m loving this so much the stories are so captivating.. I really felt for poor Melissa and what a twist with fox and greyson getting taken out by a malone! Can’t wait for more!

We are back to Copeland with Minka Mayet and the rest of the gang. Archer is right besides had Minnnnka and can't forget the rest of the team but watch out the is always something that pops up.... Maybe another Malone?? This is one of my absolute favorite serier... Starting with Coming Home with the Rollers to the Checkmate... God it just gets better and better!

Great series. Hoping the push and pull between Archer and Minka has stopped as it was feeling very repetitive every book. Though now we still have to deal with it with Tim and Aubree until their book comes out. Mia has been a great addition and I like the Minka connects with her.
Curious where the Felix situation will go or when the vigilante will find the need to kill again and stir up some more trouble in their relationship.

Full throttle and not stopping! With each book, my heart gets more and more stitched into the fabric of this wonderful world that is Copeland City. I’m intrigued by the cases that Fletch and Archer continue to work and the people involved in them. Totally shocked with the epilogue, but totally loved it!

By far the very Mayet book yet. Drama, passion, fireworks, and o the drama! Mayet and Archer battle an unsolvable crime while deciding how in they are until the past detached up with them and sets their world on fire. The new characters and reveals set up more layers to peel away as we dive in Copeland City!

This Mayet Justice is amazing
Oh my, I think Archer is finally getting what he really ‘wants or wanted’. The Malone Brothers are causing problems for Archer and Minka. This woman gets what SHE wants one way or another (when she wants it.) I could give away more, but why do it. You readers deserve to find out when you read this amazing series!
