Soliloquy - an act of speaking to oneself regardless of hearers.
So·lil·o·quy is an experimental short story collection following a writer's journey through her first drafts, the pursuit of writing stories for herself, and searching for meaning through her work.
Ten short stories and poems explore these topics. "DRAFTS" provides excerpts of the writer's first stories. In "Perspectives," the writer reflects on the origins of her storytelling and questions the future. These stories are followed by three poems. The collection ends with four stories. "Sinful" examines the seven sins in a relationship. "Affliction" is a thriller that follows the journey of a mentally ill mother. "The Other Version" is a story of young love. And the collection ends with "Elysian," a passage about what comes after death.
