UPDATE 27/12: I just found out this review blew up bcs someone shared it on twitter. And I read a comment accusing I intentionally take this matter to twitter bcs I’m aiming the author since the beginning. Lol i dont even use twitter & do check my prev reviews. I’ve bn pointing out sensitive matters like this, which hv bn treated insensitively by the authors & the editors.
The publisher has made their statement too. They’ll halt the book sale for the moment, correct the things that shd be done for the next printing. Which is good bcs as I said; the idea is good. Just bear in mind, rape is not something to be joked around & it’s a sensitive matter. Hopefully this serves as a lesson to us, especially those who think rape/rape joke is normal.

Dear author, altho the dialogues & narratives are too wattpad-ish, your idea is good. But you need to work on it. I believe you’re good in action & thriller but pls stop romanticising rape. What did you learn in Dakwah dan Kepimpinan, that makes you think this is okay & normal?
Editor shd hv done a better job. It’s kinda worrying seeing this kind of book in our mainstream market. Had this been published by Fixi, I wouldn’t have much to complain.

December 19, 2022Kebetulan balik kampung, nampak dekat rak buku adik. Ambil , buka , baca. Selepas 5 minit dah turn off. Author harap lepas ni jangan guna lagi perkataan yang boleh buat org trigger/geli geleman/mati mood nak sambung bacaan.

I read this a few months ago, so let me try to recall my experience:
Nothing much to say (or write), I just have one issue - the flashback scene when both MMC and FMC were young somewhat didn't make sense. How did a child less than 10 years have such complex thoughts? It'd makes more sense if they were in their teenage years.
When they became adults, we get to see a tsundere MMC, and a witty FMC. I don’t really mind the age gap between the characters except for when he kept calling her “budak”, lol. Good writing style and flow, despite the mediocre plot.
I can't comment on the Spanish because I'm not fluent in it, but I did notice some grammatical errors in the English sentences. Did the editor make any effort to correct them? I'm curious. Perhaps hiring a professional could solve the problem.
There are numerous areas that need to be improved. I'm looking forward to seeing the author's progress!

Shame on you author for writing such a terrible novel! Do you really think RAPE is a joke? MEROGOL ADALAH SATU JENAYAH and you should know more based on background of your study. This softporn kind of novel should be banned since the reader might be from young teenagers.

I'm glad that people finally speak up about this. some of my friends read this book and they love it soo much. but when I read it I feel nothing but disappointment bcs of the triggering content written in this book. how far, the author would've made a great book if the intimacy scenes were lessened and the sensitive jokes removed. the Malay book industry really needs more educational book to be published. just because the author is well-known and their books are likable it doesn't mean that they deserve to go any further. please, choose a book wisely before publishing.

I can only give a good review for the concept & jalan cerita. It was a good try by the author, but........ Nadia & Adrian beza umur 9 tahun so masa Nadia 10 tahun, Adrian was 19 y.o & Adrian dah start suke kt Nadia at that point. A 10 year old kid!!! I'm not sure if that makes him a paedo but budak 10 tahun kot!!!
Then the rape joke. Seriously???!!! Like I don't know what kind of a girl would fall for a guy who makes rape jokes. A mental one maybe. Adrian suka2 hati cium pipi Nadia, doesn't that count as sexual harassment already?
Penggunaan bahasa yg cringe. Yg xleh tahan nye part Rachel (who is a British girl btw) can make grammar mistakes. Eg: "Oh sorry, I'M just want to meet you and discuss about Black Rose. That's why I'M come here to PICK UP YOU and go to headquarters tonight." I get it if the mistake comes from the author coz nobody's perfect but editor x buat kerja kaaa???

Saya tak tahu previous review pasal novel ni. Tapi bila baca sampai pg 194 yg ambil masa 4 hari (total page 633), saya rasa saya tak nak teruskan lagi bacaan. Then, barulah nak tengok review di goodread. Dan saya tertanya, mcm mana dia boleh sampai cetakan kesepuluh (my book). Dan saya rasa, tiada amendment dari pihak penerbitan which is ada komen dari 2022 nyatakan yg pihak penerbit nak edit semula novel ni, if not mistaken la.
Agak kecewa, sebab sinopsis sangat menarik. Tapi bila baca, karakter lelaki ni sangat tak sesuai dgn watak yang writer cuba gambarkan. Watak Ketua mafia dan berumur 29 tahun, tapi karakter yg penulis tonjolkan macam budak�� sekolah menengah yg problematic. Not bad for the 1st attempt. Adrian Haris, cold hearted yet a powerful man, a protective n a loving husband to nur nadia. Got married sbb nak protect nadia and of course he fell in love at the end.
Tapi, if ikut Malaysian law, mmg Adrian ni dh masuk penjara sbb membunuh his enemies😅…maybe writer boleh write about mafia but jgn sampai become a murderer.

I checked the review here before buying. Even though I had seen quite a lot of bad reviews, I decided to give it a go. And honestly, it's not that bad at all. Memanglah ada beberapa part macam tak masuk akal untuk berlaku di Malaysia. But, hello, ini buku ye! Sebuah fiction semata. Ini bukan kitab atau buku kisah benar. Psst, done backup writer.
Tapi ada beberapa perkara yang saya nak mark dengan harapan writer dapat improve lagi.
1. Gaya penulisan. (Saya rasa gaya penulisan agak kebudak-budakan (tak matang). Writer boleh baca novel2 dari penulis hebat macam arwah Melur Jelita untuk bandingkan penulisan matang dan kurang.)
2. Daya penarik. (Saya sempat stop baca di bab 10 dan tinggalkan selama hampir sebulan sebelum kembali membaca sebab tak nak membazir, dan ia disebabkan daya penariknya yang kurang. Ada sesuatu yang tak mencukupi, dan itu perlu dicari oleh penulis sendiri.)
Jangan terlalu selesa dengan review baik dari pembaca. Review yang telus selalunya datang dari pembaca tegar yang lebih mengenal isipadu dan harapan pembaca dalam sesebuah novel. Saya tunggu karya anda lagi dengan harapan ada penambahbaikan. Selamat menulis!

Coming into this, I knew this book was bad due to the controversy that happened on twitter a few months(??) ago. I hadn't reach the part where he threatens to r@pe her, but this book weirded me out. To those who rated it 5 stars and finished the whole book, how did you do it?
I found the book cringey and too childish for my liking. The pet names weren't cute, it was rather embarrassing to read through. The whole mafia thing doesn't make sense, granted I didn't finish but it was so embarrassing to read this book.
That's it, will find a place to burn this book.

After reading a lot of review from readers and also knowing the fact that this book get a bunch of hate comment but for me it just a story that don't give any benefits. For whoever wanna read this book, I advice that don't take this story seriously. After all, it a story that content with irrelevant fact and the words "rape" it actually a harsh words that not suppose to use in writing as a joke because it will effect the reader emotion. Mistake happen in this novel and we can't blame the author 100% because this novel officially publish by Kaki Novel so they suppose double check the content before publish it. We all have over imagination so I don't blame the author at all, she also a normal human that have this side of imagination. Just read this book for fun and don't implement it in the real life, I hope you guys can be open minded and enjoy this story.

ion remember but this guy was talking abt raping his 'future wife' or smth and the author thought that might be romantic or smth... bc it's not. bought this book bc i saw a girl at my school reading it and i genuinely should start researching abt a book before wasting money on one.
this book was like, trying to mix those smutty wattpad stories and malay into one and it turned out to be horrendous. im js gonna guess this author loves haunting adeline from wtf they wrote in this bs

buku ni sumpah cringe gila. dont know what to say la but perkataan budak tu sumpah annoying. and btw author ni mmg dirty minded eh ? kalau bole setiap scene tu semua 18+ . seb baik tak beli buku ni (i baca kawan i punya buku) kalau tak bazir je duit. bukan setakat bazir duit je weh dapat dosa sekali sbb baca bende tah pape . sekian tu je honest review saya.

hmm .. diluar expetasi , jalan cerita meleret , perkataan yg digunakan sangat tak sesuai cuma agak tertarik dengan watak syafiq and his wife thats all . I hope author can be more professional in writing and dont give up !
