Stormy Morgan wanted to be a famous author. Her dreams didn’t turn out as she planned. Now she’s home, and despite being forced to work in the family business, things are better than ever.
Not only has she reconnected with Hunter Ryan, the “one who got away,” but she’s also discovered she’s a witch and has magic to wield. Unfortunately for her, it’s one of those jobs she has to learn on the fly. Thankfully she’s got a little help.
Between the Winchester witches in nearby Hemlock Cove and Scout Randall from Hawthorne Hollow, Stormy has more than a few teachers. Now she just has to survive long enough to not only save the day but also to become the powerful witch she so desperately wants to be.

This three-book omnibus includes Follow the Crumbs, Grease the Wheel, and We All Scream.

When I was a kid, I was torn between whether or not I was going to grow up and be the Incredible Hulk or Wonder Woman. I flirted with being a Jedi Knight for awhile, but I wasn't up for the intense travel associated with the gig. In my teens, I settled on being a writer -- although I had no idea the effort that would entail.
Not only am I a writer now, but I'm a writer in several different mediums. I'm a longtime newspaper reporter, an avid reader and a voracious science fiction fanatic.

A fun read.

I like Stormy and (most) of the characters. They interact well, the relationships aren’t just one thing, and there is some snarky dialogue that I enjoy just a little too much. However, that being said, I do find some of this quite repetitive. There is not a lot of character growth, and some characters are just frustrating- I’m looking at you Grandpa, and you’re bathroom hogging!

Anyhoo, if you enjoy Bay and Tillie’s series, then you’ll probably get a kick out pf this.

4.25 I have to say this series is one that I just can’t stop. I feel like I have to read the next book. It’s fun with all different magical creatures. I get that Stormy wants to be self sufficient but there is a little too much. I don’t understand why there cannot be more compromise. Well on to the next one!
