In the latest cozy mystery from Rock Maine Island; Eve, local Inn owner is writing a recipie book featuring recipies from residents on the island. Unfortunately, one of the participants is found dead a few days after Eve's visit, and the finger of suspicion points to her.

Can Eve find the killer before another person is killed?

I enjoy reading these stories, each book is a standalone mystery but the books are best read in order of publication to preserve continuity of the characters and series.

Killer Canning is the 14th book in the Deadline Cozy Mysteries
It is a standalone story.

Eve decides to start a cookbook with recipes from some of the elderly local residents.
When one of them dies shortly after her visit, eve becomes suspect # 1 for the murder.

Meanwhile, Eve comes back from a night out with a ring on her finger that has Aunt Mira hoping for a story that Eve doesn't seem to want to tell.

And somehow, Jill becomes the voice of reason throughout the story

Fun and Fast-moving

I adore reading about Eve, Mira, Jill, and Jack. Eve is one of the most fun heroines in any series that I have read. And I read a lot!
This time Mira is by Eve's side as she tries to figure out who is trying to frame her for murder.
This is a fun, fun read!

Another great mystery with bags of humour and a few plot twists to keep it interesting. Love reading Sonia's stories.
