It was a dream come true...just not for both of them.
Still reeling from the encounter with Gideon, Ashley, and the alluring Patricia Silversmith, Tim pleads with his wife to get away for their anniversary. Ashley agrees.
But, Ashley's billionaire boss may not be able to let her go so easily. When he shows up on their anniversary, the final line between love and lust is crossed.
Will Tim be able to forgive his wife and accept his fate? Or will he end up with nothing but a Severance Package?
Severance Package is the fourth and final exciting volume in the Dream Job series. Dream Job is a story of cheating, cuckolding, and betrayal with a complex happy ending that may not be for everyone.
This is the long awaited and as it turns out, final part of Dream Job, one of Manus’s best hardcore cuckolding series.
Tim is still haunted by what he saw at his bookstore opening evening.
The couple plan to get away alone (from Gideon) to the coast, to celebrate their anniversary.
As usual Gideon has other ideas but this time, he is intent on taking ownership of Ashley.
In his darkest hour, an unlikely and suspicious ally bring some perspective to devastated Tim.
The word ‘climax’ sounds more appropriate for the end of this gripping tale than ‘happy ending’! Highly recommended to fans of extreme hardcore interracial cuckolding, not for those who prefer lighter Hotwife adventures.
It was my first Manus Dare book, and I read all four books in this series in one go. I must say, it was a great read! A fantastic interracial cuckold story with some instances of humiliation, mixed with psychological dilemmas and a great choice of words. Looking forward to reading more from this author.
The first 3 books were some of the best that I’ve read on the subject. But this one with its ending is terrible. And the editing of this book is some of the worst that I’ve seen. There’s one point where the same line is repeated 3 times with just minor variations.
But the biggest problem I have is with the ending. As I’ve said in other reviews, for some reason authors feel that they need a HEA ending and they write whatever it takes to get there.
Unfortunately this is one of those stories. After spending a great deal of time delving into our husband’s quirks, when it comes to the finish there’s almost no worry about our husband as a plan is formulated to end the standoff and supposedly keep everyone happy.
There are so many wide open holes and unknowns that it almost made me give this a 2 star rating. The only thing that stopped me was not wanting to discourage people from reading the first 3 books, as I still believe those are wonderful books. They make you think and worry about the characters, especially the husband.
Now to rant about the ending again SPOILER ALERT I’ll be discussing some of what happens in the end.
So our favorite husband, with his favorite author, designs a contract to give everyone a place at the table and a very nice severance if it doesn’t work out.
So in this contract there’s no discussion about how much time the husband gets to spend with the wife. Does he get to sleep with her? Can he have sex with her alone? That we hear about in the epilogue.
And the biggest decision of all, what if our black boss truly wants her to bear his child and not the husband’s. Whose kid is it and how is it raised? No discussion that his humiliation will now be apparent to everyone. How’s he going to deal with this? His business is just taking off, what will this do to it?
I know, enough already, you get my point! But think about how much better this story would have been if it had ended with the husband and wife still separated and we had to think about what kind of ending might there be.
Or even better, how about a Book 5 which jumps right into these issues. That would have been my satisfaction.
