Originally hailing from Mississippi, Keegan Kennedy is a writer based out of Memphis, TN. As a child, sometimes his active imagination was the only friend that he had. Following a degree in History from the University of Southern Mississippi, Keegan floated around the corporate while dreaming of telling stories. His first novellas were in the arena of male-for-male erotica and romance. His earlier efforts were soon followed by success when his novel, Homecoming, went to Number One in on the LGBT charts in four countries: Germany, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States. He has a knack for uncovering love and romance in the darkest of places. With a tendency toward the melodramatic, he does more than arouse or excite the reader - he engages them.
His current release is the epic novel: The Harbinger – a chilling, apocalyptic tale of survival that decimated stereotypes and shocked his fans. Upcoming works include – a TBA romance between two anti-heroes. And by popular demand, he is re-mastering his older novellas into his new anthology series, the cheekily-named: Smooth Jocks and Gruff Jocks.

I can’t tell if this book is poorly written, if English is not the author’s first language, or if it’s intentionally written with camp. Either way… the 4 star rating is not about the writing.
The writing is actually pretty cringey. I enjoyed this book because I’m pretty sure it’s meant to be erotica and I enjoyed it for what it is.
I wouldn’t call it dark romance but there are definitely some themes that people may be uncomfortable with.
You’re going to get: ❌ super cringey dialogue….. I can’t overstate this enough. Penis referred to as “pecker” and “unit”. Buttholes referred to as “chutes” . Cum referred to as “splooge” …….. and just imagine “dude bros” talking to eachother lol.
✅ 24/7 dom/ sub relationship ✅ size difference with a himbo ✅ 🦶 kink ✅ 🐓cage and orgasm denial ✅ manipulation and borderline dubcon
4 stars. Must be read in order to appreciate the story so far for Soren and Matt. The previous book ended o a cliffhanger between these guys with the three words said. Catching up Soren was processing what Matt had said, Matt loosing his V-card was a part of plan. Soren a fraternity house member in uni, playing the Sledgemaster rules and games. A question arises who was the sledgemaster? Soren, Matt and Jimmy's povs included for this hot story. It wasn't all sexy scenes but a element of danger for Matt as someone what's his favor and not in a good way. I great ending to the book, but I still think Matt gave in too easily to Soren.
I liked that Matt was truly happy submitting to Soren. I also liked that Jimmy started to explore more of his own dominance - and it would be very hot to see how he opens Connor up to his own submissive needs.
I’m not sure that I get how such a short amount of time being punished would have any kind of long-term impact on Kingston, but it could have worked…
I don't even know what to say. I was at a steady 3 stars before the ending, but the way it ended was seriously.... Just wrong. Soren should seek mental help. 😞
