In Henry Hoffman's novel Solitaire, private investigator Adam Fraley investigates Jeb Lanigan's strange disappearance when he mysteriously vanishes. Jeb became fascinated by a cluster of lights in the lonely area of the Sierra Nevada foothills and set out to identify their source. Adam takes over the investigation and seeks to learn what happened to Jeb. He notices the group of lights in the distance when he arrives in the Nevada foothills. Adam is at risk when his investigation reveals a connection between the disappearance of Jeb Lanigan and a lucrative underground drug trafficking enterprise.

The dialogue in the book reads easily and organically, and the mystery is cleverly designed and captivating without ever degenerating into predictability. As the story advances toward its rewarding climax, Hoffman skillfully raises the suspense as the storyline develops seamlessly. Hoffman has thoughtfully ensured readers can dive right in and learn about Adam Fraley's endeavours. However, happy readers are likely to look for the author's work after enjoying this compelling novel.

A great and entertaining story.

First, Solitaire: An Adam Fraley Mystery is more than just fiction. Within its pages are the realities of life that we face every now and then. The story kicks off with Adam Fraley, who suddenly discovers that his friend Jeb Lanigan has gone missing under mysterious circumstances.
Adam decides to lead the investigation to unravel what truly happened to his Jeb, who had gone after some strange lights in the Sierra Nevada foothills. However, as Adam arrives at the scene, it was more than just flashing lights that he will be confronting. It turned out that the place was flourishing with an underground drug trafficking business run by some strong people.
The authors tried as much as possible in this book to keep the mystery in this story well-conceived, and the dialogue very natural. One thing I must tell you is that this book is excellent on all levels and many lovers of mystery series like myself will love this book. The author makes it easy to follow the major character very easily, even as the character continues to change as the story progresses. It’s a five-star for me and I wouldn’t mind if the author decides to make this work into a series.

When Andy’s friend Cal ask him to find a A missing guy who left to live off the grid in Nevada he takes the case during his investigation he will find a store in the middle of nowhere A dog also in the middle of nowhere, a historian with things to hide and a foundation who isn’t as charitable as they would want people to believe even though his investigation didn’t meet with openness and honesty it seems the closer he gets the uncovering the truth about the missing guy and all the reasons he’s missing the more deadly than investigation is. I have never read a book about this particular investigator but I love the Andy and his wife I thought it was a very smart investigation I love how kind Andy was to shadow there isn’t anything not to like about this book I loved it! It isn’t as long as other books but it is still a full incomplete story if you love crime fiction your love“Solitaire “I received this book from NetGalley and the publisher but I am leaving this review voluntarily please forgive any mistakes as I am blind and dictate my review.

Solitaire, written by Henry Hoffman is his newest installement in his mystery series. It continues the theme of mystery and thrill perfectly throughout the book, having only a couple down moments here and there. You follow a private investigator, Adam Fraley who is searching for a man living off the grid on the Sierra Nevada Foothills, but during his search he finds himself a target of a deranged sniper who will stop at nothing to kill him. The motives of the sniper go beyond the present, instead a century old tragedy that occured is directly linked to the drug-trafficking scheme that Fraley might uncover if he continues to pursue his mystery man. Out of nowhere Fraley has an unexpected friend come to his aid. A well-written mystery novel.

Solitaire by Henry Hoffman is a novel that continues the series of mystery stories. Here, the private investigator Adam Fraley is the main character, too. The plot tells about the search for a missing man in a remote stretch of the Sierra Nevada foothills; the investigator suddenly finds himself the target of a deranged sniper who is determined to take him out. All of this is played out against the backdrop of a great American tragedy that occurred over a century ago, one that holds a direct tie to the case at hand.
I've enjoyed this story from beginning to end. The writing style together with the vocabulary, descriptions and language used by the author made a wonderful result. I had a great time while reading, I'll recommend this book for sure.

Solitaire is a mystery thriller novel written by Henry Hoffman; it follows a protagonist that goes by Adam Fraley. A private investigator who searches for a man who’s living off the grid, who finds himself being targeted by a deranged sniper for that exact reason. Fraley finds himself between a bigger conspiracy than that he could have imagined that contains a lucrative drug-trafficking scheme that runs underground. Solitaire is a quick read but it’s quite a fun one. The mystery doesn’t seem to die down, until everything is truly revealed in a big-bang kind of manner. Every page is entertaining to the last word and leaves you wanting more. The author chose an accurate vocabulary for this book and the way he describes the scenes truly are captivating.

“Solitaire: An Adam Fraley Mystery” by Henry Hoffman is a fantasticmystery novel. The story revolves around private investigator Adam Fraley, who, in the midst of searching for a missing man, suffers an attempted murder by a mysterious sniper. Behind this attack, there is someone concerned, who does not want Fraley to discover the link between this missing man and a clandestine drug trafficking plan.

It's a fantastic story that progressed from less to more, beginning with a high level and ending with a great level. Personally, the plot and its rhythm seemed to me like being on a roller coaster. It's an agile read, with a great protagonist like Fraley, whose character grows and evolves throughout the story. It is a highly recommended book for
all those who love this genre.

Complicated

Adam Fraley is a private detective who was hired to look for a man living off the grid in the wilderness. During his search, he comes a little too close to some other secrets guarded by a mysterious mastermind who then hires a assassin to take Farley out. If this sounds a bit convoluted, that's because it is. There are drugs, hidden secrets, century old musteries and the original job Adam was sent to do as well. All of this makes this a complicated book. The writing is great and the story does move smoothly, I just found keeping track of everything to be a bit hard and so this wasn't the escapist book I thought it would be. This is one where you want to lose yourself in the story searching for that one hidden clue that will bring the whole story together.

Henry Hoffman is a talented storyteller: he paints entire scenes with plenty of details which in a mystery novel is all that matters.
The characters are also gorgeously written, they have strong personalities and some of them grow a lot throughout the story.
The plot contains drama, lingering mystery, drugs and surprising twists which make the piece very easy to read at lightning speed.
The ending was pretty predictable but I didn’t care since I really enjoyed the exciting journey that the author took me on and this is the exact reason I’ll give “Solitaire” 5 stars.
I feel there is more to tell in this story, and I strongly hope for a sequel. This is an awesome writer!!

Solitaire is a mystery book in the Adam Fraley series by author Henry Hoffman and it is a great chapter in the life of this private investigator.
I really liked the way in which the author interweaves personal aspects of the character, as his feelings and life experiences, with facts from reality and from American history. This is one of the great virtues of this book. Added to this, there is an excellent management of suspense and intrigue, which avoids any type of anticipation or assumption regarding the development of the plot. I am sure that this captivating and thrilling story will keep readers on their toes the entire time!

What a captivating fictional story. I never ceased to be amazed by the twists and turns of it. The action is present in every single page making really difficult to put it down.
The story is a classic but more than engaging suspense with all the earmarks of modern law enforcement drama. It has a well fleshed out plot, and excellent character building.
The setting of Sierra Nevada is the perfect choice for a mystery novel due to its remote landscapes.
I always expect certain outcomes in a Henry Hoffman novel and, this one delivered just like I expected. This is just one of the reasons why I highly recommend it.
